S3 Chapter 18: The Massacre

On top of the throne, Vord was flipping through the pages of a book. Ever since Leon and Sun's departure, he kept thinking about the last words Leon had said to him.

The happy day here is over, Vord. Now is the time to show your true face to the world. You were born to change history, protect everyone. Your power can do more than anyone else.

Those words continued to spin non-stop inside his head. Vord was annoyed by it, but also did not hate it in the slightest. “What do I do?” Slowly Vord sighed, clearing his mind.

“Ah, alright, I give up. You won, Leon.” Vord stood up and walked out of the room. “I'll do it after finishing business here.”

It was a dark night, in a row of old buildings. Leon glanced over here and there to find out the location of his enemy. “Where did the creature go it—”

Leon had not yet finished his speech, he then slammed once again into the wall. Blood gushed out from his mouth, his entire body feeling an immense pain.

Once again his head hit the wall hit by a blow from an enemy invisible to him. His forehead was injured, his chest was tight to the point of difficulty breathing.

Leon! Ellise panics knowing Leon has been seriously injured.

At the same time, on the other side of the building, Sun creates a wall of fire to protect his friends. As his body lit up, Sasa and Ni remained behind him to avoid the fight.

“Sial! The enemy this time is very troublesome!” Sun started peeling in annoyance.

Suddenly a flash of blue-colored light split the Sun fire wall from above. Soon Sun took out the sword from under his cloak and poured his power on the sword.

Sun resisted the enemy's attack using his sword, but the pressure he felt was so intense. His sword slowly began to crack withstanding the attack from the long glint like that sword.

“Sun!” Sasa then channeled his power to Sun's back.

Meanwhile, Ni had just been silent since then while closing her eyes. A yellow light began to emerge from the girl's body. He took a regular breath, felt the power from within his body then channeled it all over the body.

Sun was getting smoldering, his sword would soon break if the pressure continued to increase. “Argh!” Despite having to endure excruciating pain, Sun burned all of his strength to withstand the enemy's attacks.

He slowly opened his eyes. At that instant his eyes emitted a yellow light. “Sun, let me try to fight it,” said the girl slowly.

“You want to die, yes?” Sun became upset. “Sasa, take the boy away! Let me handle this enemy.”

“But ..!” Sasa refused.

“Sasa! Please!”

Elsewhere, Leon is leaning against a wall that is about to collapse. His eyes were closed, Ellise who was in the Subconscious Realm Leon became panicked seeing this. Still, he can't do anything.

Leon .... This time, Ellise could only hope for a miracle.

A black figure and disguised by the darkness of midnight walked up to Leon. It seems like he's still going to give Leon an attack.

“It seems, today will be the end for the best work of Hope Tower,” muttered the figure while clenching his right hand. From within his body, there appeared an aura of power so dark.

However, it still did not satisfy the figure earlier. He instead ran with all his might toward Leon, then once again attacked the young man until it soared deep into the air.

“Feel it!” As if he was venting all his anger, the figure jumped into the sky and was about to hit Leon again.

Nah! Ellise screamed as loud as possible, but too late, Leon had already slammed into the ground to make all his bones crumble. Le ... on .... Watching this incident directly made Ellise unable to bear it.

Tears poured from Ellise's eyes and washed her cheeks. The girl's chest was tight, everything was very painful for her. Le ... on .... His heart screamed, but his mouth could not express how much his heart ached.

Sasa immediately stared rigidly at this incident. He and Sun felt a great power come out from within Ni. With just a one-hand swing, Ni brushed off Sun's wall of fire as well as the attack that Sun was holding back.

To his surprise, this incident left Sun speechless. He only saw Ni drifting forward slowly. As the light from Ni's body spread wider, the figure of a man was seen with white eyes and a white shirt complete with a tie.

“Wah, I did not expect my attack to be easily repelled by you,” the man said as he pushed his glasses with his right hand.

Ni stretched her hand forward, strength began to gather in that palm of hers. Without any warning, a yellow-coloured ball of light shot swiftly from the girl's hand towards the bespectacled man.

Explosions occurred, dust flying shut the vision. However, as the dust began to dissipate, the figure of the man in white shirt was still standing upright while slashing the dust using his right hand.

“Hey, hey, isn't it rude to reply someone with an attack?” The man just shook his head, then pushed his glasses again.

Didn't you start attacking us first? Although upset, Sun tried to hold back those words from coming out of his mouth.

Up there, Ni floated with no expression on her face. “Who are you?” ask the girl, slowly.

“I didn't think you'd ask.” Again the man pushed his glasses. “I am but a mouse in your eyes from the Tower of Hope. My name is Jahad ..” Suddenly he smiled.

Sun's body instantly trembled upon hearing that name. “Ti .. impossible. Jahad already ...”

“Soldiers who died fighting defending the Hope Tower from Tack?” attacks The aura of power around Jahad suddenly turned increasingly concentrated. “Do not joke!”

Quickly, Jahad was suddenly right in front of Sun, clenching his hands to attack.

Damnit damnit! Sun had not had time to react because his attack was so sudden.

In a deep darkness, Leon awakens. He does not see or feel the presence of others around him.

“I ... where?” Leon glanced over here and there, but all that was seen was darkness without any light.

The young man sensed a power pulling himself somewhere. Not knowing where to go, he approached the source of the attraction.

As if it had gotten a miracle, suddenly a light emanated before him. “What is it?” Still not understanding anything, Leon can only resign to follow the existing path.

He did not care about anything, as long as he could find the light that might be his last hope, then it was enough.
