[S2] Chapter 8 Part 2

“You're the one I should have warned. But, take it easy, Leon. I will definitely remember the day of your death.”

Verx swung his sword a few times, then darted swiftly towards me. I also did not want to lose and darted towards him. Using the air pressure, I jumped up, raised my sword bay up, then slashed it vertically. “Hia!”

Snapping, Verx instantly stopped and held back my sword attack with his sword. A clashing sound rang in the ears, unlike before, my sword was unable to absorb its energy sword, just like I absorbed the Roman energy sword. There must be a certain condition to activate it, but what?

Once again I used the air pressure to drift backwards. Turns out this is why Roman was able to quickly dodge my attack earlier. Useful enough.

Suddenly, Verx jumped at me, just like when I attacked him. Not taking any chances, I immediately retreated as far as possible. Down there, looks Darwis who is observing our fight. The sword of my baby grew, following the greatness of my shadow hand. I instantly slashed my sword horizontally from right to left right to Verx. However, the young man was still very relaxed believing his protector was able to withstand my attack.

Clashes happen. “Hia!” I further strengthened my sword slash. On the other hand, Verx seemed to be having a hard time defending because of this attack of mine. “Hia!” My power overflowed, and then the Verx protector broke, so that my sword could cut his body in half.

I heaved a sigh of relief, while Verx's lifeless body fell to the ground. In an instant, the shadow that covered my entire body disappeared. Then, I descended slowly, right next to Verx's corpse. Dervish came closer, I lowered my head, again feeling empty after killing.

“Wait.” Suddenly I checked Verx's right arm which was fortunately not destroyed. “Horse?” I turned my eyes to Darwis. “What does this mean? Isn't he supposed to be the Snake Clan?”

“Do not know. I just don't know who he is, that's why I just kept quiet.”

Once again I turned my gaze towards Verx's arm. True, the tattoo on his arm is a picture of a horse, not a snake. Does that mean my guess about this division of the Clan is wrong? That is, a new Klan division existed when this tattoo appeared. Ah, I don't understand anymore.

“Think of it later!” Darwis turned his gaze eastward, where numerous explosions occurred, causing smoke and dust to scatter. It is only natural that there will be a battle there, because the region is the place where the monument we are heading to is located. No, but the purpose of everyone here is to enter the monument.

“Maybe it is the number of Clans that still survive until now.”

“Me!” someone shouts out of nowhere.

I glanced around, then a wall of ice formed around us. It caught us, but the guy made it out of nowhere. The top was already almost covered, without wasting any time, I directly used the huge shadow pillar that had emerged from the ground to destroy it. It turns out that my powers are very useful.

Dervishes also made several fireballs which then destroyed the ice walls around us. While I turned the pillar of my baby into jirah. My eyes glanced here and there, there was no sight of anyone who was about to lock us up with an ice wall.

“Haha, great, Leon.”

Immediately I turned my gaze to the roof of a house, there appeared a long-haired girl. My mouth immediately opened, saying a name, “Li-Lize?” Next to the girl was a person wearing a black robe and hood.

Before long, several spears from ice floated around the two of them, then shot rapidly towards us. “Make this to me!” Dervishes made several fireballs around us, then launched an attack on the ice spear earlier. Immediately we retreated, keeping our distance from the two people who were ahead there.

I jumped onto the roof of a house, followed by Darwis. The two people were still unmoved, then the person in robes, took off his black robe and threw the thing onto the ground. Now I know that he's Lize's friend, Creeps. However, why is Lize still alive? Shouldn't he have died?

Must be something, or maybe Lize's been coming with me on Andrew's orders all along? I think I should ask him this. “You ... what does all this mean, Lize?”

“Haha, of course as you see it now. I'm on Andrew's side, not yours.” The girl showed me the tattoo on her hand. “I am from the Dragon Clan, not the Snake Clan. Of course I don't want to sacrifice for your life, Leon.”

“Job!” I stretched out my right hand, then a few shadow balls floated around, then darted rapidly towards Lize and Creeps.
