Chapter 10: The Old Hut In The Cave

Closing the nose using the palm of the hand so that the mysterious aroma in this cave is not inhaled. I continued to set foot on this to go further into the cave. There was no sign of anyone around me at this time. Although my eyes are not functioning properly, this self seems to understand well the situation.

“Gosh! My head is getting dizzy,” I complained as I continued to walk straight ahead.

“Sssstt! Be calm! It's me, Rias,” whispered the person slowly to me.

I breathed a sigh of relief, as it turned out that the person who attracted me was not a stranger. However, I felt a little confused about why he said in a slow tone as if he did not want to be known by others. In accordance with the circumstances, I whispered to Rias, “what is this? why do you seem to be so wary?”

Not poking my question, Rias then pulled my right hand and started walking. “Hei! Oi! Oi! At least answer my question!”

Again I was ignored. Since it seems that he will not answer, I just resignedly follow his will to withdraw this out of nowhere.

Soon, we finally arrived in front of a strange place again. Here I could see an empty place with the illumination of a lantern along the wall and a rickety hut that would collapse at any time right in the middle of the place.

Carefully Rias pulled me leaning against the wall while observing the old hut. A few steps next to me leaned back, there was Lize who was also hiding glancing towards the hut. I really don't understand the situation, why they are so afraid just to check directly on the hut.

“You guys why the hell? If you want to know what's in there, I think we need to take a closer look,” I told them.

“Sssstt!” Rias immediately covered my mouth with her index finger. “Do not be noisy! I suspect there's something abnormal in there.”

I immediately took his hand out of my mouth. “Alright, if you are afraid, let me go there.”

Ignoring Rias who was about to block my path, I then walked casually towards the old hut we were talking about. “Haih, why should I be afraid. This is just my new dream,” muttered me while ignoring the surroundings and continuing to step.

Suddenly, Lize directly blocked my path by stretching out both of her hands. “Where are you going?” ask her with a flat tone.

“Just check the contents of the hut,” I replied as it passed.

My right hand was pulled up to make myself stop stepping. I turned this face back and looked at the figure of a long black haired girl sinisterly. The girl's blue eyes looked me straight. “We don't know what danger is eyeing us out there.”

I catch my breath while pulling my hand. “There will be no danger that will threaten us,” I said indifferently as I continued to step up.

“Argh ... It's up to you.”

All right, let's wait for what happens after this. Will the same thing that happened to my nightmare some time ago be repeated? Or is there anything else.

No matter the time to come, I finally arrived in front of a small hut made of porous wood. If there were a strong wind in this place, the rickety hut in front of me would have collapsed in the wind.

I opened the door from the hut and slowly entered it. The spider webs dangling on the ceiling of the place instantly filled my face. I rubbed this face to remove the net.

I was immediately startled by the corpse of an old man lying in the right corner of the hut. Calming my mind, I glanced beside the corpse. There was a medium-sized black bag that seemed to contain something. Seeing that, I just went straight to the bag and picked it up.

This medium-sized bag was quite heavy, when I opened the contents of the bag, I immediately gulped in surprise. How not, in there are boxes of bullets and a black gun. I smiled broadly at this gift that was given to me. To make sure that this wasn't a dream, I pinched my own cheek and turned out to be sick.

“It's real.” I was very happy to know that I was not dreaming or hallucinating.

“Hei!” Suddenly I jumped because I was surprised by Lize hitting my shoulder.

Instead of being angry, I cheered more and more with joy at it. “You're crazy, huh?” said Lize who saw my strange behavior.

I just showed you the contents of the bag I took. “This, look! I found something good here.”

In response to my statement, Lize also peeked at the contents of the bag I was carrying. “Wow! It's amazing!”

I handed the bag to Lize and started to turn the dried corpse over. Behind the body was a long rifle equipped with binoculars. “This will definitely be very helpful,” I said as I picked up the rifle.

Unlike the previous days, I felt very happy to be able to find these useful items. Walking out from inside the hut, I saw Rias who was standing guard in front.

“Hei!” I greet casually to Rias.

Rias watched me for a while. “It looks like you're very happy, yes,” he said after seeing my circumstances.

I smiled widely then said cheerfully, “of course. Because after we get out of this cave, I think the misfortune that we will face will be slightly reduced.”
