The Dark Slayer's

The Dark Slayer's
[S2] Chapter 5 Part 2

The zombies were getting closer to the exit, Andrew's view could not be separated from them. Meanwhile, Zanik looks very uninterested in all of this, he just wants to go back to the base and play around without having to work hard to rack his brains.

“There must be between them,” murmured Andrew quietly.

Zanik did not understand what Andrew meant, so he could only tilt his head in confusion. However, obviously, Andrew must be looking for something. And no one knows what it is.

Waitaminute! Zanik put his hand on his chin. Suppose he was looking for a pearl that could control zombies, why would he even look for it among the zombies? Doesn't that make no sense? The young man who was next to Andrew, really did not understand what Andrew was aiming for. It was clear that Andrew was bragging, but the facts were different.

“Good.” Very calmly, Andrew stood up, then took something out of his pants pocket.

It was a small white pearl. It glittered when exposed to the moonlight. What is the function of the pearl? Could this be what zombie control meant by Andrew? If so, how does that thing work?

“What will you do?” ask Zanik.

“Zombie has many types, and the type we encounter is a zombie that is very different from the others.”

“Means?” Zanik grew increasingly clueless after hearing Andrew's words.

“There are many cases about zombies, the most popular, zombies exist because humans are infected by a virus. Zombies that we encounter today, formed due to a virus, but a virus that is completely different from the others.”

Oh, my God, what exactly did he say? It was very inefficient as he kept twirling around this explanation. Zanik was unable to digest the intent of Andrew's explanation.

“In other words ...”

Now Zanik became more curious to hear his continuation.

“The pearls I hold now are not ordinary pearls. It is made of different types of viruses and bacteria that are frozen into one. With the help of sophisticated tools, then created a pearl of this energy.”

“Pearl energy?”

“Ya, more or less like that.”

If indeed with this energy pearl we can control the zombies, then why does he look to be looking for something among the zombie horde? A situation that Zanik could not understand, occurred because Andrew's explanation was not in harmony with the young man's own actions. However, now Zanik could only resign and accept.

Suddenly, Andrew shoots his gun at a zombie, but the zombie does not budge in the least because of Andrew's attack. The zombies were then moving slowly towards Andrew and Zanik, so they had to hurry away.

“Actually what's on your mind?” This situation made Zanik even more upset with Andrew's behavior.

“The distance between this cave and Rabbit Clan headquarters is very far. I don't know how long we'll be up, but obviously, the Rabbit Clan will be over tonight.”

Zanik could only gulp at the words of Andrew. He was convinced that the person who became the leader of his Clan was a psychopath. How could it not, his wish was just to get out alive from this forest, and torture the weak. Luckily, he was still willing to tolerate his Clan members, otherwise, maybe everyone else he would kill.

Elsewhere, a tall young man in a black uniform was lying among the bushes watching something using his long-range binoculars. What he saw was an old house that was heavily guarded by young men with long rifles in their hands. Next to him was another young man.

The young man also watched over the same territory using long-range binoculars as well. Then, he lowered his binoculars, then said, “It looks like it will be difficult for us to barge in, Kaiser.”

“It's too early to give up, Scof.” The young man, Kaiser, lowered his binoculars and started glaring around.

Unable to find anything, Kaiser could only sigh in resignation. “If it's been like this, it seems we can only wait for the Boss and Zanik.”

“Indeed it should be. But as the Boss said, if we immediately clear up the problem, then it will be better.”

“You are complaining, but you are also the one who objected, weird.” Kaiser looked back at the old house earlier, ignoring the young man wearing a black uniform like himself.

Yes, Kaiser is not a person who always cares, therefore he can easily ignore everything. However, still, something was bothering him to become Andrew's subordinate. Otherwise, he may have wandered alone for a long time looking for a way out as quickly as possible. Just like Zanik, this young man's only goal is to survive and get out safely from the cursed forest where he now resides.

A gust of wind, flew the leaves towards the guards surrounding the old house. While Kaiser just continued to flinch, unwilling to move in the slightest. On the other hand, Scof looked up at the direction behind him, figuring out the whereabouts of the two young men who had told him and Kaiser to wait here.

“When do they arrive?”

“Patience!” Kaiser immediately warned Scof. “Bos must be playing around with those zombies.”

“But ... didn't he say we were going to attack some Clans tonight?”

“Maybe you think it's just a joke ..” Kaiser's sentence paused for a moment. “But in reality, if the Boss is willing to attack one Clan by himself, it is possible that he will get victory.”

“Is that it her?”

“Yes. But he won't show his strength.”

This conversation reminds Kaiser of an incident he had experienced while traveling with Andrew. At that time, Andrew took Kaiser and two others to explore a canyon, and there a large monster appeared. However, when two others have died, and only Andrew and Kaiser remain, Andrew shows his true abilities, then easily defeats the monster.

From then on, Andrew warns Kaiser to keep the incident a secret, so Kaiser can only keep quiet for fear of being wiped out by Andrew. Although Andrew did not say that he would kill Kaiser if he told him his secret, Kaiser knew that he would die if he exposed the secret.

“It seems, soon they will arrive,” Kaiser muttered as he lowered his binoculars.

“I hope what you say is true.”

Just as Kaiser was standing still hiding behind the tree next to him, Zanik and Andrew came running. Although the distance they traveled was very far, Andrew was still very fit, only a little sweat soaked his body. While Zanik was very tired and almost fainted on a long journey earlier.
