[S3] Chapter 24: The Valley of Evolution

An unfamiliar name, heard by Leon. He did not know what kind of place it was, but his friends looked stiff.

Looking ahead, there was only an ordinary valley. Then, what's with that? How many times Leon thought about it, it was just an ordinary valley with nothing special.

Finally Leon sighed, then glanced at the faces of his friends, especially Sun. “If this valley is scary, why not just pass over it?” Leon calmly said that sentence.

“Yeah, most would think so. But, the top was the most dangerous place. If Mr. Vord is a man, it might be easy to pass him. But, we are different from him.” Sun paused his sentence. “More now we are just a bunch of garbage.”

“Yeah, our only hope is Mr. Vord.” Sasa approved Sun's remark.

“You think I'm really going to protect you all and risk your lives?” Vord turned his head while staring intently at Leon and the others. “I'm free to decide. If you really want to go to the Tower of Hope, then show me your determination.”

Like the wind, Vord simply disappeared from sight. However, Leon's expression remained flat. He believed that Vord was not the type of person who would let others die in front of him just like that.

“Where did he go?” Sontak Sasa searches for Vord's whereabouts. However, the Vord had completely disappeared without a trace.

“That person is hard to guess. I no longer understand what he thinks,” Sun also started grumbling.

“Maybe he thinks that passing through this Evolution Valley is not very dangerous. After all, he could have just been hiding while watching.” Without looking agitated, Leon again continued his words, “We should immediately enter.”

They all continued on their way into the Valley of Evolution. This place is so quiet and dark, but Leon has gotten used to it. He had never imagined that his experience of entering many dark caves would be beneficial now.

“How long is this Evolution Valley?” ask Leon.

Suddenly they stopped, slightly feeling a faint aura hiding behind something. Only Leon could see in the dark, but still had not discovered where the aura was coming from.

“Sun, turn on your fire.” Leon whispered as quietly as possible.

“You sure? Isn't that going to get us in trouble?”

“Without even lighting a fire we must be in trouble. Consider choosing the smallest risk.”

“Good.”

A little reluctantly, Sun made a small blaze right in the palm of his right hand. Now they can look around more clearly, much differently than before who rely solely on intuition to move forward.

For a moment, right in front of them flashed a small black-colored figure like a shadow. This makes them more alert to the surrounding situation.

“The Evolution Valley is empty, there are no Fantasy Beings here because there is little energy.” He passed on valuable information to his partner. “Surely it is not without reason. There used to be a battlefield in the Evolution Valley, but someone made a protector and burned down the energy needed by Fantasy Beings.”

“So basically, only humans like us can enter it?” Little by little Leon began to understand.

“Yeah, but as a result the area above is the same has abundant energy so Fantasy Creatures develop so quickly.”

“Who is the one who can do that? I'm sure he must be a great man.” Before long, Leon remembered something. “Oh yes, does Vord also make protectors for the city, can such protectors work like this too?”

“Do not fabricate.” Sun interrupted. “Even level 1 Energy Eater is very rare who can do this. And I heard also, the person who managed to create this Valley of Evolution has disappeared.”
