[S3] Chapter 14: The End of a Happy Day

A week has passed since Leon killed Tan. Sun and his group clearly kept this a secret from the public at Leon's request. However, there is one person who cannot be fooled, namely the founder of the city, Vord.

Suddenly he could have revealed the shocking news to the city, but it was not so. This achievement he considered still lacking, because however Leon immediately ran out of energy when the fight ended. On top of the throne, Vord flipped through the pages of the book, ignoring the surroundings.

Although he did not seem to care much about the contents of the book, the man still continued to flip through the pages. The situation was much safer now, the energy from Tan made the city protector much stronger than before. Moreover, as long as the Vord was here, a serious calamity might be far less than imagined.

Vord sighed after flipping through the pages of the book. It was very clear from now on that his mind floated out of nowhere, instead of focusing on the contents of the book. For a moment he looked around, this vast room seemed empty, there was no one but him.

Vord walked back towards the throne while sighing heavily. “Beating Tan alone is not enough ...,” Vord muttered softly while sitting on the singasana.

Suddenly the sound of knocking on the door echoed in the room. Vord slightly flinched, then invited the person who knocked on the door to enter.

What an unexpected guest, it turns out the person who knocked on the door was Leon. Seeming a cynical smile forming on Vord's lips, it seemed as if he wanted to immediately ridicule Leon for the failure a week ago.

“Wah, wow, wow. Look who's here,” said Vord to mock Leon. “What did the arrogant Leon come here for?”

Unlike Vord's expectations, Leon was seen putting on a flat expression without showing any desire to retaliate. Without waiting for long, Leon immediately opened his mouth turning the topic of conversation directly to the core.

“Tell me, what's your next destination?” Really without making small talk, Leon immediately touched the core of the conversation about the purpose of his arrival here.

Leon and Vord were just unmoved, silence was falling on both of them inside this room. The people outside seemed to hear a noise then immediately headed for Vord's room. So many warriors entered the room in panic then saw firsthand the current attack the Vord had blocked by Leon.

Of course they are difficult to believe and some consider that the Vord does not mean it. Soon after, Vord pulled back his hand and saw the horde of soldiers.

“What do you guys see?” A sharp gaze directed Vord at the soldiers. “Out ...”
