Chapter 12 part 3

Desperate, that's my situation. I no longer want to force myself. The journey has ended enough to get here. Don't ever bring me back to that time.

Even so, the voice of the person calling my name has not yet subsided. I want to immediately close my ears tightly so that the sound is not heard. But that I can't do.

"Actually, why should we suffer like this? Wouldn't it be easier if we didn't face any problems?" Tired of the voice calling my name, soon this self woke up and glanced around.

If I had to change my fate, I would have destroyed everything. No one will be able to stop this move. Those who stand in the way must be destroyed.

Standing up, it was enough for me to resign. This self has remembered a promise that does not want to be broken.

"I'll avenge Ellise." Strengthening my resolve, I turned my head up staring into the darkness. "With all means, I must get out of this forest. I have to keep that promise too. All obstacles, must be eradicated."

Elsewhere, Mischie is in danger. His body could not stand to avoid the imminent danger. Almost resigned to the situation, he just lay down waiting for the big monster he fought, coming over.

Maybe I'll die today, Mischie thought. But .. destiny will be changed, because this self will surely come out safely from this terrible forest. He also held the gun in his right hand.

"There's still one bullet left" muttered Mischie. The determination of the young man was very strong, capitalizing on that, he ignored the pain he was suffering and then started running. "I'll make it."

While running away from the monster, Mischie fired his last bullet. The attack had no effect whatsoever on the monster he was fighting. However, he still had not given up on surviving.

"Until I really lose, I won't see—" Suddenly, Mischie fell on the ground. "Oh."

Meanwhile, the grey-feathered monster accelerated its pace then jumped up.

Leon PoV's

I stared blankly at the vast expanse of field that was in front of these eyes. Two girls were running as hard as they could towards me. When glancing all over the body, I again saw a different figure.

"Is this me?" I muttered slowly.

The pain I was suffering from, was now beginning to subside along with the total change that was happening to me. The wounds have also recovered. From here, I feel that this form is not too bad.

The sounds were just a hallucination.

Ignoring what was happening, this self-rushing ran forward. Accelerating my footsteps, I finally passed the two girls who were running earlier. They looked at me in wonder, I was well aware that they were afraid of this form.

Not ignoring the two of them, I still continued to run as hard as I could. Not long after, these eyes could see the figure of a monster leaping towards a young man.

The grenade I used up, so what do I do to defeat it?

Adding to the speed, I was finally able to pull the young man who was in trouble, out of distress. Youth—which is none other than Mischie—stares at me in wonder. He was unable to say anything and just stared stiffly.

Immediately I lowered Mischie and stared at the big grey-haired monster. "You .. You're Leon, right?" ask Mischie who is still flinching.

With the fangs in this mouth, I might be able to answer the question. Besides, it's not important for me to answer. Because the first thing I have to do is test my own strength by defeating the huge monster before us.

A moment before I stepped away, Mischie suddenly called out. "Wait!" said. I turned around to hear his words. "May this be useful." Mischie threw a grenade at me.

I caught the grenade, then left. Then a strange sound came from my mouth. The huge monster dashed swiftly towards me, responding to his attack, I immediately dashed swiftly towards the huge creature.

One of these grenades is enough to kill the life of the great creature. I nimbly jumped onto the monster's chest and then jumped on it again. The monster went berserk and started roaring and slashing its right hand at me.

The monster ran towards me, immediately I got up and ran towards the cliff. The stupid creature quickly chased me, taking advantage of his stupidity, I stopped my steps immediately when I was on the brink.

As expected, the monster jumped at me. He was stupid for doing that. This is one way to fight creatures that cannot think like humans. They just need to be cheated so we can win.

Using full speed, I move this leg to the left to dodge. At that instant, the gray-feathered monster fell to shatter with its body.

The matter was finally resolved without having to use the grenade that Mischie gave me.

Of course that was not true, the huge monster must still be alive, just by falling into the abyss, it would not die instantly. Realizing this, I hurried to jump into the ravine where the monster had fallen.

The huge monster was lying down, this self fell down and stood right on its stomach. Before the monster woke up, I placed the activated grenade into its mouth.

The grenade exploded, unwilling to linger any longer, I exerted all my strength to jump up. My right hand can reach the cliff, with all the effort, this self is finally on the wide field.

Suddenly, two black-colored figures appeared that resembled me. The two of them surrounded Mischie as well as Lize and Rias who had returned.

Moving at high speed, one of the black figures chased after me. Of course I did not stay silent, based on a determination, finally me and the figure fought.

Damnit damnit! He's so strong!

The figure beat this self with all my might so that I could only endure. One by one the fists were launched at me, using these two arms, I was finally able to hold on.

Slowly, these footsteps walked backwards, until I finally could not stand it and launched an attack using the right foot. The black figure was in a defensive position, once again I launched a kick at him.

"No! Help me!"

The sound of that shout echoed, as it glanced towards the source, this heart instantly heated up. There, a black figure was about to eat Rias, but with the help of Mischie and Lize, Rias survived.

Ignoring the black figure near me, I suddenly ran towards Mischie and the two girls. But fatefully, I was crushed from behind to fall. This head is stepped on, my body cannot move because of it.

Sick, my skull seemed to want to break. In an instant, this whole body melted. This self is no longer able to move.

The changes in my form began to fade, black skin was increasingly peeling and replaced by my normal skin. "Lize ...." I groaned, but the figure above me, now bowing my head, was about to eat me.

Apparently, the sky still did not want me to die. At the moment Lize was running away from the pursuit of the black figure. He still took the time to shoot the black figure above me.

Suddenly, the black figure immediately went after Lize and two of my other friends.

"No! Stop that!" I cried out with a loud voice.

For a moment, these eyes could see Lize's smile. However, the two black figures earlier—igning so many bullets that attacked them—l directly lunged and devoured the bodies of my friends.

"No! Don't do that! Stop that!"

This self is no longer able to move, my legs feel paralyzed after using so much energy. I pulled this away with both hands, momentarily thinking of me dying.

The bodies of my friends were torn apart by the two figures earlier. They greedily devoured the cut body parts.

My tears are dripping through these cheeks. "No! Stop that!"

Screams of pain echoed, an unpleasant sight, directly visible to these two eyes. Can't stand it, I don't want to see any of this. I closed my eyes, fed up of seeing this terrible thing happening.

Take this suffering. I don't want everything to be like this. Please, stop this pain in the heart.
