The Dark Slayer's

The Dark Slayer's
Chapter 4 part 3

The ground trembled again, as the monster walked over to us. The walls of the gorge are now starting to collapse to make the atmosphere more gripping. However, this leg still continues to walk closer to three friends who are in trouble.

Without waiting for me and Gawk to arrive, Flicker and James immediately stood up and propped up Mischie, then started walking.

Suddenly a large chunk of stone about one hand, fell from the top of the cliff and landed right on James' head, making him stagger. Flicker and James stopped walking for a moment. Because James was shaking his head several times after being hit by a stone, then started walking again.

I stopped these footsteps when the distance between me and them was already not far. Walking slowly, they finally reached the place where I was.

“Hei! You guys okay?” I panicked at them.

“Yes, we are fine,” Flicker replied as he continued walking past me.

Without continuing our conversation, I just walked slowly past them. Again the ground shook. Because of that, I unconsciously moved to and fro so that this body would not fall.

Byurs.

A very large stone, fell into the river to make the water splash out and wet this body.

Dum! Dum! Dum****!

The sound of the monster pounding his feet, echoed and increasingly made the ground shake. Realizing that, we immediately ran as fast as possible in order to avoid it.

Not far in front of us, I could see Villy and Geisa waving their hands, for us to increase the speed. However, before I could respond, a loud voice echoed from behind me.

I became unsteady and then collapsed to the ground. While my friends can still stand, even though their movements are not careless. Before long, a shadow that was so big, covered this entire body.

Dugdug. Dugdug.

This heart rate is getting tighter. The blood flowing into the brain feels like it is spinning fast. Even so, I still ventured to look up.

“Haah! Haah! Haah!”

My breathing is getting faster. The blood pumped by the heart, flows at an unnatural pace. My whole body is now drenched in sweat coming out of the pores of the skin.

“No! No!”

The feet are getting closer to my back. I crawled, using both hands to pull.

The shadow was getting smaller, and because of that, my fear grew.

Dum!

The monster's footsteps, clanging hard to make dust scattered around.

“Groarr!”

The roar of the monster, echoed in the silence of the abyss. All the birds that heard the roar, immediately flew away from the source of the sound.

Hygiene ....

No one's making a sound.

Everyone around the huge monster became stiff like a statue. Despite that, their eyes were all staring in the same direction.

Bruukes.

Geisa fell down and knelt to the ground, looking at a young man whose legs had been crushed by the monster. Her tears rolled down both cheeks. Therefore, he also covered his face with both hands while looking down.

The reason is very simple, and it may be found anywhere. And apparently, most people have experienced this.

Yes ....

That's right ....

He cried because both legs of a young man who was in front of me at this time—which is none other than Gawk—have been destroyed by being stepped on by a huge monster. And somehow, I don't want to see it. Instead, I turned my eyes the other way. But what I saw was not a good thing.

I slowly turned this gaze towards Gawk. From here I could see her breath faltering and her dying state.

“Why!?” Those words came out of my throat that felt dry.

Why would he sacrifice for me?

And if at that time he didn't run and throw me to the side, he wouldn't be like this.

“Groarr!”

Immediately I stood up when I heard that sickening roar. I clenched both hands tightly to make this arm tremble.

“It's enough!” I said with full anger.

I grit my teeth. Then moments later, salty blood came out of my wounded lips and soaked my tongue.

Quickly, I took the ground and threw it into the monster's face. He turned towards me and stared coldly, then clawed at the cliff behind me.

The remnants of the ground from the monster's scratches, fell on my head. The dust began to spread to make me cough and cough.

It's freaky.

Why does this monster seem to have no intention to finish us off? Rather, he looked like he was observing all of us with a slight bluff.

What exactly did this huge monster want? Does he have another purpose? Or maybe ....

Ah, nevermind. I don't have time to think about it. Because I'm gonna make this fucking monster suffer right now.

As soon as the dust disappeared, I immediately jumped at the monster's feet, then launched a barrage of fists using both clenched hands. It hurts, makes me want to stop doing it immediately. But there's no way I'm going to stop.

Ignoring the pain in the hand, I still continued to punch at the monster's feet.

Suddenly ...,

Bruock!

“Argh ...” I groaned in pain as my body slammed against the cliff wall.

It hurts, my whole body hurts, and all my bones are crumbling.

The monster began to raise its legs and prepare to stomp on me. However, the monster soon turns around, when Flicker and his friends begin to throw the monster in the face.

“Fuck you!”

“Fucking monster!”

“Restore our friend!”

All sorts of unpleasant words were heard, spoken from their mouths. In response to that, I forced this body to stand up and continue walking. The pain I no longer felt. My feet moved by themselves towards the monster.

Dum!

The sound of the monster's feet pounding again echoed right in front of my eyes. Of course this made the ground shake, to the point that I almost lost my balance because of it. However, since my path was already so staggering, then I did not feel a huge difference when a shock occurred with when it did not happen.

What happened to this monster? He should have killed us quickly. But why hasn't he done it since?

“Ti-No, stop all this!”

For some reason, I suddenly saw a shadow that was not so clear, making me say those words.

“Argh!” I groaned while holding my head with both hands.

Dizziness, pain, I felt like I was looking at a picture that was playing at a medium speed, and was shown before my eyes.

“Argh! Argh!” I fell down and knelt on the ground holding my head dizzy. Now, a memory that was not so visible, appeared in this head.

A few moments later, my head started to improve. I stood up straight and looked at the monster.

“I will finish you, ugly monster,” I said firmly.
