The Dark Slayer's

The Dark Slayer's
[S2] Chapter 3 Part 4

Silence accompanied the footsteps, no one started a conversation to melt this atmosphere. I wish that the strange person in front of me would start a conversation, because I no longer want to be considered a bully. But the facts say something else. He seemed to be enjoying this silence.

I admit that this quiet place is quite soothing, but it was in normal territory, not a fucking place like the mysterious forest we were in. I really want to be upset about this situation. But what is my way of doing it.

“Hey, do you feel anything strange here?”

Suddenly Darwis stopped while stretching his hand to the side. I was a little surprised when I realized that, and immediately stopped my steps. Why did he stop? Is there something up ahead?

I stepped up and stood to his right. There's nothing weird there. There were only tall trees and leaves flying in the wind. Waitaminute! Strangely enough, the leaves were like they were floating in a round.

“Oh, fuck. That's her disaster this time.” Dervish peeling while running to the side.

Without waiting, I followed behind him. The wind is getting stronger, until this self is almost dragged by it. However, all that I hold in order to keep going. “Sial! What the fuck?”

The jacket I was wearing started to pull towards the whirlwind, the body slowly started to lift upwards, as if it was about to float.

“No!”

Suddenly Darwis pulled my hand because I was sucked by the whirlwind that was getting louder and faster. He then thrust the sword in his other hand into the ground, so that we would not be carried away to the whirlwind.

“Hold!”

Damn, again I have to face a disaster that is so annoying. If I get sucked, this body will definitely be torn apart by that whirlwind. Turning into a black figure might just make me survive. However, all of my clothes and weapons would probably be torn apart by this powerful round of wind.

Like an annulment of a magic, the wind suddenly stopped spinning. This breath was breathless, but I could be relieved that the calamity had stopped. The moment I glanced at the person before me, he seemed to widen his eyes, dumbfounded for some reason. I turned around to look at him, and in a flash, these eyes opened wide.

The vortex of wind that was like it was about to suck, now turned into a red wisp of smoke that soared high into the sky. The legs immediately stepped backwards without me noticing, this situation was very surprising and never even thought of before. Because where possible smoke clots can form a sign of no cause and effect. Could it be magic?

Waitaminute! If this situation is because there is magic? How could I have never seen anyone use it. Then I remembered something. The park! Yes, that park.

Back then, Lize did call it an illusion, but it occurred to me that the illusion was made of magic. I also believe that the sword that Darwis had just taken has a special privilege. It's possible that my estimation of this magic is true.

Ah, I don't know how magic can be formed. Everything I've been through is so confusing. Magic, Evolution, even strange creatures like monsters, can be found here. Everything that had happened felt like I was in a very messy book, without knowing how to explain it.

Maybe it's just my mind, every thing here must have some sort of clarity that can be solved. What is the explanation, I still can't find.

Seconds continued to change, until finally Darwis patted my shoulder to disperse my daydream. I flinched a little, and almost jumped in shock.

“We better check what's in the middle of that smoke blob.” Casually, Darwis walked closer to the core of the smoke plume that was several tens of meters in front of us.

He seemed indifferent to our current situation, as if he did not understand this situation. “Are you crazy?” I shouted to Darwis. “The smoke plume is clearly very suspicious. It could be a bunch of toxins made in the form of smoke, and if inhaled will make you die instantly.”

Dervish stopped, then turned to look at me. “Taking a little risk is not too bad in my opinion.”

Without even bothering me, he immediately walked forward, towards the source of the smoke. It's so annoying, I don't know if I should follow him or find a new partner. However, it is very difficult to find a loyal companion like this Dervish. However, his very high curiosity can make us die in some time.

“Fuck with danger, I will follow him, because actually I am also curious.”

As soon as I tailed behind Darwis, this story might be like a journey of life about two people who are very interested in mystery. It is not strange that we die so quickly because of insatiable curiosity.
