The Dark Slayer's
[S3] Chapter 3: Behind the Door

The shadow lay in front of Leon and Ellise. When the shadow faded, there appeared a vast field of holograms there.

Ellise opened her eyes, while Leon was busy observing the hologram made by Ellise earlier. Instantly becoming silent, Leon shook his head as he continued to closely observe.

"All right, so this is our world?" Leon rubbed his head. "The environment is much better than I thought."

"This is a memory of the last time I was there. So, I hope it's all the same."

"No problem, the most important thing is that I can make this in my head and then we get there."

"Is that sure you are?" Ellise raised her next eyebrow.

"The problem succeeded or failed we just put it aside first, because if we fail we can continue to repeat it. That's why I'd better be sure of myself."

Leon smiled, then he faded from Ellise's sight. "Haha, even though your memory has changed, it turns out that your nature still remains the same" Ellise murmured, softly.

Leon opened his eyes, the sight of scattered dust could be seen by him. He stretched his muscles, making his body in as comfortable a condition as possible.

He slowly took a deep breath and then exhaled. This technique could again calm his mind.

In an empty mind, he imagined the vast green field that Ellise had shown him. Streams of energy flowed all over his body as the wind gushed fiercely.

Shadows started to come out of Leon's body, his aura emitting something different. Dark and cold, perhaps it was suitable to describe it.

Leon's eyes glowed, his right hand outstretched, and a shadow from his body began to create a door. Sweat flooded Leon's body. His breath was slightly breathless after making the door float white in front of him.

"I didn't think that determining the coordinates of the door really took a lot of energy" Leon said.

Of course, determining the coordinates of the door randomly is not too tiring, but it is different if you determine the coordinates. Already, let's go to our home world. I really can't wait anymore.

"Yes, I hope that beautiful field you're referring to hasn't changed."

Leon stepped foot inside the door, behind the door they entered into the dimension where the black boxes were located. However, not far from their entrance, there was another door that was also white.

Finally, what Leon and Ellise were waiting for was achieved. Eagerly Leon set foot into the door. "Let's see what's in there, Ellise."

Comeing!

Once again Leon's eyes widened, his face that had been beaming with brilliance, now changed into tense. They were very surprised to see a barren and rocky field.

Are we wrong? ask Ellise.

"I can't believe I've correctly imagined the place you're referring to. Starting from how much gravitational pull and energy flow in it."

The door behind Leon had already disappeared. Far ahead there, looks the rubble of the building that has been flattened with the ground.

It's supposed to be the lab where you used to experiment.

"But look, there's nothing there but rubble" Leon denied.

We'd better take a look.

"Alright, I'm a little curious too."

Leon rushed towards the rubble of the building. It is true, only the remaining rocks and walls are also iron. The wood was scattered, it was hard to imagine.

Not only that, broken glass and plastic can be found easily.

However, instead of agreeing with Leon's denial, Ellise denied, This is the reality, Leon. If it were like this, there would be a cause.

"But what?" Really, Leon no longer understands the situation.

The pull of gravity and the flow of energy here are still exactly the same as before we left this place. However, the difference is in the air temperature.

"And I'm sure it's definitely not our world."

It seems you want to deny this reality, but there is something you really need to accept for what it is. Air temperature is not an absolute thing, because it can increase with the depletion of ozone.

"I know, but ...."

Not yet had Leon vent his frustration around, the sound of an explosion instantly echoed to make him turn away. Leon turned around, looking straight ahead.

The source of the explosion was in front of it, even the smoke that was soaring by Leon's eyes. Soon Leon ran, passing through this barren field without noticing around.

"What's really going on here, Ellise?" ask Leon.

I don't know, but it's definitely not a good thing.

Leon then accelerates the steps to get there as soon as possible. Again heard by his ears a terrible explosion. Then the smoke rose high after the explosion.

Moments passed, now Leon was right behind the armed forces who were fighting a large creature in the form of anjhing.

"Fast throw the grenade again!" exclaimed a soldier in brown uniform commanding the other soldiers.

Shortly thereafter, grenades were thrown at large creatures such as the anjhing. The sound of explosions echoed, the soldiers were still focused on attacking using their rifles.

"We hold this Chimera until the Energy Eaters arrive!" Once again the soldier shouted.

Leon could not bear to see this large animal before him. Immediately he swung his shadow right hand upward, then a pillar of shadow emerged from the ground and pierced through the belly of the creature named Chimera.

The blood of the animal is black, unlike that of any other animal on Earth. However, Leon did not care much about it.

The soldiers immediately turned back, looking at Leon in surprise. They were screaming for this victory.

"All! The Energy Eater was indeed undoubtedly his strength!" They looked so excited when someone called out the sentence.

Leon, it looks like you're being looked upon so well by them. Won't you say hello to these soldiers? asked Ellise, deliberately wanting to tease Leon.

It doesn't matter, I'd better check what the animal is, ' Leon replied, indifferently.

Leon immediately walked over, ignoring the cheers of the soldiers. When he reached the place where the Chimera had died, Leon immediately lowered his body to check the black blood of the creature.

It's definitely not an animal that comes from our world, Ellise. Leon stood up, glaring around to find out more about this world.

If this is true, why do you understand what they are saying? Does that mean this is our world? Ellise immediately denied Leon's statement.

You're right, but it's hard to imagine that there's a black-blooded animal here. And again, this big anjhing does not have feathers like in general.

There's a chance they're.... Ellise's words were immediately cut off. No, Leon, I just remember now. The reason why the laboratory was built. The reason why we have super powers. It was none other than for this, to defeat the extraterrestrials that came suddenly.

Even so, why didn't my father forbid me to create a mysterious island and play around there?
