The sound of explosions echoed within the ears of a young man who was running frantically towards a large field. He was Flicker who had made it out alive from the numerous attacks just a moment ago. His entire body was covered in dust and dirt, making him look shabby and chaotic.
His breathing gasps for forcing himself to keep running, tired of the body he can withstand in order to survive a series of attacks that come from nowhere. Relying on the remnants of energy, the young man went into the forest to escape death.
“Sial! Looks like someone got here earlier than us. We were very careless because of the quiet situation earlier.”
The young man's legs were slightly limped due to being hit by some stones. However, he still forced himself to run to save lives. If this was predictable, maybe now they have escaped from the beginning.
Elsewhere, Darwis also painstakingly avoided the ruins by running towards the nearest field. He knew it was risky, but that was the only option to survive. Luckily, at the end of the field is already the border area of the city with forests, so the percentage of Dervish safety increases.
“Where did this terrible attack come from? Could it be that the Lion Clan and the Dragon Clan had started the battle? But it's still very early.”
The Dragon Clan and the Lion Clan were two extremely powerful Clans in this forest. So, it was natural that Darwis was suspicious of the two Clans. In fact, according to the rumors circulating, the strength of each leader of the two Clans was able to destroy a mountain alone. And maybe, the shocks and cracks of this land are their actions.
Suddenly, to the right of Darwis, an energy ball exploded, resulting in the young man rolling to the left side. Dust flew, the figure of a person appeared from within the dust collection, walking towards Dervish.
Soon Darwis woke up and looked at the figure warily, even though his breathing was heavy after running around. The figure stopped his steps, he was still silent staring at the seedy-looking Dervish.
“Looks like you're pretty tough,” said the figure.
The wind blew, making the dust group fly in the direction of the wind, and disappeared. There was a young man dressed all in black, smiling at the tired Dervish. Dervish knew who the person before him was, even though he was very unwilling to meet for the umpteenth time with that person.
“Andrew, I thought you made this happen.” Dervish was so furious, that he was unable to contain his mounting anger. “Do you really want to make all this?”
“Hahaha,” Andrew laughs at a silly question from Darwis. “You think there's another way to get out of this forest? No, right?”
A few moments later, the lightning returned. It's pretty clear that it wasn't Andrew's. Dervish becomes confused at the sight of the situation, as Andrew looks completely calm and happy, as his goal has manifested. However, everything is so unreasonable. In the situation of war between the Clans, Andrew should not be careless in the slightest just to play around.
Andrew knew what Darwis was about to do, but he still calmly watched in silence. His mind then focused on what was happening, he never knew that in his group there were those who were able to ignite the flames of war between the Dragon Clan and the Lion Clan. At first he thought it was Zanik. However, it was wrong, because Zanik never intended to ignite this war.
To investigate the cause of this fight would be very long, so Andrew decided to act immediately and resolve the issue. However, his gaze suddenly turned to the running Dervish, and it somehow attracted him. Because Andrew basically doesn't care much about his colleagues or his clan, all he wants is to get out safely from the mysterious forest he's in.
“If you want to attack.” A small ball of light about the size of a marble, Andrew threw it towards Dervish. “It is better to undo your intention.”
Despite being attacked on the spur of the moment, Darwis was able to fend off a small ball of light from Andrew with his whip and replex. Without speaking a word, Darwis twirled his whip upwards, then channeled the accumulated soul energy all over the body into his whip.
This person cannot be underestimated, Darwis thought. His attack just a moment ago was very fast and powerful, if only I hadn't lost fast, I might have finished by now. Now that Darwis became more alert than before, he did not want to be careless in the slightest.
Andrew turned his gaze in the other direction, with Dervish immediately taking advantage of this opportunity to dart and launch an attack. However, the instant after Andrew flicked his finger, so many balls of light floated in the air, then shot towards Dervish. Frantically, the young man swung his whip here and there in order to fend off all of Andrew's attacks.
The huge explosion again echoed, Andrew's focus now diverted elsewhere. Although he was very unwilling to know the situation of others, but he still forced himself to help those he needed. Before leaving, the young man again gave Darwis a surprise.
While Darwis was busy fending off so many unfinished attacks, Andrew took a few steps back, then flicked his finger. “Consider this.” A huge ball of light, coming from the sky towards Dervish.
Ignoring what was to come next, Andrew turned around and ran towards the source of the chaos. He was very confident that his light ball attack could burn Dervish perfectly without having to bother waiting.
Frantically panicked, the small light ball attack had eased slightly, but a new problem came back. The enormous ball of light was getting closer to him. “Andrew fucking.” Dervishes forced out the entire soul energy contained within the crystal in his chest.
Flames filled Darwis' body, whips in the hand he threw out and replaced with a sword. In an instant, flames instantly enveloped the sword, then it lifted it upwards, while continuing to drain all the energy stored in its crystal.
As the huge ball of light approached, Darwis instantly slashed his sword vertically. A semi-circular flame instantly formed in front of the young man. The fire that had enveloped his body, instantly disappeared along with the attack he launched.
His breathing was breathless, when the explosion caused by two direct attacks occurred. Darwis thinks this is the end of his gloomy life, he regrets not having been able to get out of this mysterious forest despite having gone through many things. In fact, he had previously been in a state of life and death when fighting with the Dragon Clan in the absence of Andrew. Then now, with only Andrew one, he's lost a landslide.
