[S3] Chapter 26: The Last Obstacle

“What else now?” Leon gawked, seeing so many rocks floating above a long gorge.

A moment before, they had managed to break out of the Evolution Valley and meet the Vord who was casually waiting. Leon and his friends just kept quiet, not paying too much attention to Vord.

“So, what did you guys meet there?” ask Vord while developing a smile.

“Nothing,” replied Leon, indifferent.

“I wonder, when you only pass through the valley for one kilometer, why so long?”

“You don't pretend you don't know about what we went through while there!” Sun clenched tightly into both of his hands.

“Hah? I don't know what you mean. Earlier I checked so let you guys walk without me.”

Leon sighed, then calmed Sun down. “Already, don't think about it. We'd better get going.”

“Good ...” With a heavy heart, Sun sighed.

Time now, when Leon felt all the obstacles were over, he was again faced with troublesome things. However, the others looked ordinary, only he was agitated here.

Suddenly Vord stared one by one at his friends. He looked at Leon for a moment, then said, “You must have known, this is the last hurdle. When we finish it, we will arrive at the Tower of Hope. So, give up all your determination and strength!”

“Good!” Sun, Sasa, and Ni answered. Only Leon remained unmoved without saying a word.

Leon's gaze was straight ahead, observing the stone hovering before him. The rocks turned out to be moving, most likely this is the boundary of the Hope Tower. Leon hopes that the place will be like a skyscraper.

“Sun is almost sunset, so we have to be fast.” Vord turned around, preparing to complete the final hurdle.

“But what about Leon?” It looks confused.

All his friends are injured, only Vord is still unharmed. However, the problem was, was Vord willing to take Leon along with him?

While Sun was at the top, Ni looked up for a moment and took a deep breath. Instantly he floated in the air and landed on the rock where Sun was.

“Now it's our turn,” Leon said as he extended his hand forward.

The black ball shuts Leon and Sasa. The ball floated and landed them both right where Sun and Ni were.

“Sun, how about we jump directly across. After all, the distance is only about one kilometer, right?”

They descended down, but what greeted them was a gigantic black fireball attack. Leon still retains a protector, while Sun has prepared himself for the fight.

Suddenly, the attack stopped, Leon slowly peeked out and saw three men facing Vord. “Sun, we better not be rash and get out now. Leave it to Vord.”

From the small gap where Leon was peeking, Sun seemed to be able to see one of Vord's opponents. His eyes widened, his feet naturally retreated backwards. Both of his hands clenched tightly, flames of fury clearly visible from within Sun.

“Leon.” The word that came out of Sun's mouth sounded flat, but it contained a lot of anger. “Let me teach a lesson to one of them.”

The explosion occurred, outside the protector, Vord tried his hardest to resist the attack of the black fireball from the opponent. At the same time, Leon was unable to defend his armor, so they could all see firsthand the three people who were Vord's opponents.
