[S3] Chapter 40: Regret
King Tan immediately went as far away as possible, he already knew that it would be dangerous to stay here. The aura of the people he had thought were weak, now changed as if it was not them. Moreover, his instincts knew full well that there were ferocious monsters there.
Immediately King Tan sped up the pace while they were not paying attention, but, suddenly, his legs stopped moving. The eyes of the creature were wide open, he looked like a statue. How not? Right in front of him struck a huge, black-colored spear. When he looked up, a figure he feared floated up there.
“Mar ... Marvin ...” King Tan took a few steps back. He could clearly remember who was hovering above it. “Must be, didn't that 50 Ti ambush have you killed?”
The white-robed person called Marvin looked calm. He simply shook his head while observing for a moment. “Yo! If I'm not wrong, you're the stupid Tan I ignored back then?” ask Marvin, calm down.
King Tan took a few steps back, his entire body trembling violently. His mouth was silent for a moment, unable to say a word.
“Why didn't you answer?” Marvin stared blankly down. “Are you not a king?”
Hearing Marvin's words made King Tan feel humiliated. However, he was still afraid to just attack. The difference in strength between them was too far away. However, King Tan suddenly remembered something.
“Hahaha.” King Tan is calm again. “You just got up, and now want to beat me? I'm sure that your strength is still not fully recovered. Don't be so arrogant in front of me!” Instantly he jumped while launching a right hand blow with all his might.
“Stupid ...” Without the need to move, with only one left hand, Marvin was able to withstand King Tan's attack. “Oh, it turns out that you had absorbed my energy when I was on the verge of death huh? No wonder you're this strong. But, it's time for you to sleep!” Marvin's gaze was so sharp that it made King Tan tremble.
“Argh!” All the power in King Tan's body was forcibly absorbed by Marvin. Of course he felt pain because his strength was absorbed like that. Now he regretted underestimating the opponent. However, all of the pain disappeared in an instant after a while. He was also calmer than before.

Marvin stared blankly at King Tan's body which had been cut into pieces. All the energy in the body of the creature has been absorbed perfectly, leaving nothing left. For a moment he looked around, clearly visible the expanse of the bodies of the Tan lurked here and there.
“Haah ..” Marvin let out a long breath, while discarding the right hand piece of King Tan he still held. “Only a herd of ants like this, why are they so troubled to deal with it?”
While glancing in all directions, Marvin slowly landed right where his friends were. Just like before, Sun and Andrew— who possessed Sasa—'s body were still fighting. Seeing this, Marvin could only shake his head and pretend not to see.
“Are you happy to be back, Young Master Klaurius?” asked Ellise with a smile.
Marvin looked Ellise in the eye, but could not guess how she felt. “Don't call me that.”
“Why? Shouldn't you be bearing that name?”
“Haah .. forget it.” Marvin finally fell into a state of affairs. “In addition, are you happy now?”
“Of course!” The smile on Ellise's lips grew wider. “”How could I not be happy to see you back? I've been waiting for this for a long time, Marvin ..”
“You're worried, right?” ask Marvin.
“What do you mean?” Ellise slightly turned her eyes.
“I know, you're very bad to be told to lie to me, Ellise. Before that, let me guess, it must be my sister, Leonal, who had planned my resurrection?”
This time Ellise was no longer evasive, so admitted everything. “Yes, he's been counting everything from the start. I was amazed at him, but also pity him. He seemed tormented by himself, by his own strength and intelligence.”
Marvin exhaled a long breath while waving his right hand, unconcerned by Ellise's story. “Pitying him is the same as pushing him down into the abyss, don't think of him. Moreover, he could deal with everything by himself if he wanted to. Indeed its power is still lacking now, but in a few years you will not be able to imagine it.”

Ellise had to admit, even though she had to bite her lips in order to do so. “You are great, you can guess all that correctly. As expected of Marvin.”

“That's because he loves you so much, Marvin. As a child, you already knew how the Klaurius family treated him. She's been like a robot, only you're what she considers her brother, whom she loves wholeheartedly.”

Marvin smiled slightly, then looked at Ellise gently. “Ellise, our task has been done since long ago. We failed once, and it's time to give them a fighting chance.”

“No longer, Ellise.” Gently Marvin wiped the tears flowing down Ellise's cheeks. “I'm tired, so is Wolf. And, I think Andrew is the same.”
Suddenly, Andrew approached Marvin followed by Sun. For a moment Andrew smiled glancing at Ellise's eyeballs. “Marvin's right, Ellise. I'm tired of fighting. Last time Leon messed up my memory and tricked me, then resurrected me. It's ridiculous!”
“I agree!” Sun meyahut's. “How could I hand Sasa a beautiful body to this jerk man!” Sun pointed at Andrew's face.
“What did you say? I'm not a jerk!” Eventually the two of them got back into a fight.
“You heard, right, Ellise?” Without caring around, Marvin calms Ellise down again.
“Actually, I'm the same. However, without us, without you, the world would be ruled by those Fantasy Beings.”
“They still have Leon. One day, that kid must have surpassed me.”
“That's sure you're on him?”
“Yes, as sure as that!” Marvin glanced in the other direction, looking for Andrew's whereabouts. “Andrew, we'll be back.”
“Tuan ..” Suddenly, a living skull came toward Marvin.
Marvin recognized him. “Tusk, I'll be gone for good, please take care of my sister, Leon, yes ...”
“Can't you just stay?”
“Just relax, my sister will replace me. His strength will definitely be far above mine. And, I'm sure you guys met before.” Marvin smiled, then a white light covered his entire body, including Ellise and Andrew. “It's a good thing that the boy didn't use such a complicated spell, so I can take it off easily,” Marvin murmured, feeling relieved. “See you, Tusk.” He also waved his hand.

In the white room, Leon looks still dreamy. He nodded, doing nothing. However, soon the person he knew appeared right in front of him.
“Yo! Leon, brother!” That was Marvin.
“Sister, why did you come in here? Shouldn't you now control my body out there?”
“You're.” Marvin then hit Leon's head slowly. “Don't bother me keep. You just take care of your problem. I've calmed down, and you called me suddenly to sort things out. Don't joke.”
“Tapi—”
“No but! Solve your own problems. I went ...” Eventually Marvin completely disappears, while Leon's body slowly fades away.

Out there, Leon and Ni cuddle with their eyes closed. It was the last position before Marvin and Ellise who possessed the two of them, disappeared. From now on, a new journey will begin. A great war between humans and extraterrestrials would obviously be unavoidable.
