Chapter 11 part 4

I kept my balance and walked closer to the two monsters. The long shotgun in this hand rests on one of those monsters.

Hey, turns out I could use this tool.

Really, I never thought that this self could control such a dangerous firearm. With a quick movement, I once again aimed and placed my index finger on the trigger of the rifle.

"Groars!"

One of the monsters roared, one of its legs was violently stomped on the ground. The ground trembled, the concentration I had gathered, now scattered. Although the balance of the body began to waver, still I forced myself to stand upright while aiming.

"Damn it, the bull-head monster turned out to be quite ingenious." Without paying any more attention, I pulled the trigger.

The sound of gunfire echoed, the bullet shot out and I got a little pushed. "Should hurry!" Directly take the bullet in the bag of pants and put it in the rifle.

"Leon! Hurry on!" Mischie called out in a loud voice to me.

"Damn it," I said as I shot back.

Three sounds of explosions echoed in the ears. The gray-haired monster started to move away from the black-haired monster. "This is last!" Immediately I stopped my steps and launched an attack with my pocket rifle.

"Oh no!" On the wide field where we were fighting at the moment, I turned around and ran with all my might. "That damn monster's after me."

My steps were shaky, this leg movement began to go wrong. The earth shake due to the monster running, now getting stronger.

Suddenly, I tripped on my own feet causing myself to fall on the ground. When I turned my face back, my eyes could clearly see the monster that was running quickly towards me.

Some time ago before Leon and his friends fought with monsters. Mischie passed on his proposal to his friend while discussing strategy.

"There is a possibility that the monsters we will face, are gray monsters and black monsters," Mischie said as he turned around and halted his steps. "If that happens, the only thing we can do is separate the two of them."

"So you mean, we're gonna lure one of them somewhere else and fight the other together." Leon immediately interrupted Mischie's explanation.

"Yes ...." The look on Mischie's face revealed dissatisfaction. "But, there's one person who should be the bait."

Leon slightly gasped at Mischie's explanation. He stared, his whole body stiff. In other words, the person who dares to be 'bait' must be prepared to sacrifice a life, Leon thought.

"And the one who fits into 'bait' is the one who dares to sacrifice," Mischie said. "That person is none other than me."

"No!" sahut Leon firmly. "I'm the one who fits into 'bait'. Because I have two guns and four grenades."

"You're a fool, yes!" Mischie yelled at Leon. "You could have died because of this."

"Leon can't be bait." Lize firmly called for his opinion.

"Yes, that's right." Rias was also in the discussion. "No one can sacrifice."

Knowing the more complicated conditions, Leon immediately interjected, "is I that weak in your eyes?"

Lize was instantly stunned to hear that sentence. "That's not what I meant. I just want you to stay alive."

"Yes, you are indeed weak and unsuitable to be bait," Rias said.

"What do you mean say that?" Lize was immediately furious when Rias spoke out.

"Loose people seem to be the bait."

"You ...."

Lize was almost on a rampage back then. However, Leon managed to win it. Leon perfectly understood what Rias meant. Rias does just that in order for Leon to stop his determination to be the bait.

After a long debate, finally with a heavy heart, they let Leon to be the bait.

Shit, why would I want to be bait. Trying to get up, I kept my body in balance by making the rifle a focus. Standing up, I again moved unsteadily because of the shock.

Nah! I have to live.

With a determination, I endured the pain and started running.

Can't stand the shock caused by the monster. I turned around and launched several attacks using my rifle.

The balance of my body became shaky, this self lay down and began to feel pain. However, the attack I launched had no effect on that damn monster.

Desperate and not knowing what to do. I activated one of my grenades and threw it at the monster.

Exploding, the grenade did not give a fatal impact on the monster's body. Only a bunch of smoke from the explosion covered the monster.

Slowly, the monster again moved towards me.

Die me.
