[S3] Chapter 5: This Is Your Only Ability

A green creature with a body as large as a human, but similar to a lizard standing using both legs fighting. He attacked a young man in a red shirt with a wind bullet from inside his mouth.

The short-sleeved, red-robed young man in a red-head leash retreated continuously in desperation. His fiery sword was unceasingly fending off all the attacks of those lizard-like creatures.

"Curtain!" The young man jumped backwards, but wind bullets kept coming out from the mouth of the lizard that attacked him. "Fucking chi!" The fire burned down the young man, then the blazing fire crept into his sword shaft.

As powerful as he could, he slashed his sword vertically. A fierce fire that rotated in a semicircle then shot to the lizard in front of him. However, the lizard remained calm and gathered wind energy in its mouth to fire a ball of wind.

"Damn!" The young man was upset.

A huge explosion occurred, the impact of the two attacks was quite strong. Even the flame youth was forced to retreat further to avoid the attack. However, the lizard was still in its place without moving a bit.

"It turns out to be true, this Chi was able to transform the mysterious energy on earth into another energy. They are not much different from a level 3 Energy Eater like me," the young man muttered.

A giant ball of wind shot swiftly towards the young man, but he was still not ready to hold it back. "Great!" As fast as lightning he swung the sword in panic while hoping for a miracle to happen to him.

Sure enough, a black wall sticking out of the ground and managed to resist the attack of the wind ball earlier. The young man turned to the back, where a black-haired young man was running towards him. Hope instantly appeared within the young man's mind.

"Don't he's a level 2 Energy Eater, cool...." His eyes sparkled, happy to see the person who had just helped him.

"Go from here! Let me fight him!" exclaimed the man to the red-shirted youth.

"Good!" Soon the young man was out of the battle. "A tier 2 Energy Eater can easily defeat Chi, I don't need to worry," he muttered as he ran.

Meanwhile, the black-haired young man who had replaced the young man had now stopped while observing the wisp of smoke.

This young man was none other than Leon, it could be seen from his strength. Before long, a huge ball of wind shot at him. However, Leon just shook his head, then a black pillar emerged from the ground and struck the ball of wind.

Not stopping there, the monster called Chi jumped towards Leon. Leon's right hand immediately changed shape, round and pointed like a spear.

"Hhhh!" As much as Leon's energy to punch towards Chi using the right hand.

However, Chi managed to resist the attack using a wind shield. Chi landed, taking quite a distance from Leon.

"What's wrong?" ask Leon, indifferent. "Is that all you're capable of, Standing Lizard?"

"Who did you say the lizard was standing, huh?" Chi seemed annoyed at Leon's provocation. "I am a Mex, a Chi!"

"Hooh .. so you can speak human language?" Leon was a little surprised, not expecting that this creature called Chi could speak like a human.

"You think there's no other creature smarter than you humans in the universe?"

"Don't know and ...," Leon's words stopped, "die!" The young man made several spears stick out from within the earth, but Chi managed to dodge by jumping.

So many wind bullets were fired by Chi from inside his mouth. Leon pointed his right arm forward, then turned it into a black shadow shield.

Still unfinished, now a counterattack was launched by Leon. From his shield came so many shadow bullets that shot rapidly at Chi.

Now Chi is more focused on defense, and that opportunity is maximized by Leon to be more free to attack.

Chi does not want to stay still, the creature gathers energy around, then collects and turns it into a giant ball of wind. The attack he launched on Leon, but the young man remained calm, unaffected by circumstances.

Slowly but surely, Leon slashed his sword vertically towards the Chi wind ball. Immediately, the giant ball of wind split into two.

Not enough to get there alone, his sword was even able to split Chi's body into two parts as well. Everything happened in just an instant, the wind gushed violently due to the split of Chi's attack earlier.

"Somehow I feel my strength is increasing when I wear it" muttered Leon, astonished. "That's it, there's nothing to worry about." He canceled his technique and restored his right arm to its original state.

From behind, someone shouted in amazement at Leon.

"Great! Really great! Is this the power of the level 2 Energy Eater?" The face of the young man praising Leon beamed. "I didn't think you could beat him so easily. Had it been me, I wouldn't have been so sure I could've beaten him."

Leon just kept silent while watching the actions of the young man before his eyes. "You who?" ask Leon, flat.

"It's me ... Sun, the level 3 Energy Eater you just saved earlier," he replied, excited.

"Oh, so. I'm Leon. Hello to you." Leon put out a hand.

Sun looked confused as to whether or not to accept this handshake. "Master, Leon. I'm not equal to you. So...."

"Certain why? Is there a problem with that? All humans are equal."

This time Sun smiled sincerely as well moved. All along, due to the power gap between the tier 2 and tier 3 Energy Eaters, making those at tier 2 completely ignore tier 3. In fact, even when on duty, level 3 is always used as bait by level 2. However, this time was different, there were strong people who considered all humans equal.

"If you don't want to, I won't force you. But I'm gonna ask you something." Leon pulled back his hand.

"Stop calling me 'Master' just call me Leon, okay?" Verily Leon was a little troubled over the call of 'Master.

"A...." Suddenly Leon's mouth shut, his words stopped because of Ellise's voice.

Don't explain your situation to her! I suspect he will consider you an enemy or an enemy spy, Ellise said.

Then, what am I supposed to say? I wonder where the headquarters of the Energy Eaters are meant by him.

Doesn't mean you have to expose your identity, does it?
