S3 Chapter 30: Sun and Night

A few years ago, when Sun was 8 years old. In a village where he lived in peace and security with the people. This all happened because of the guarding of an Energy Eater tigkat 1 who was so strong. Sun admired the man so much, even to the point of making him determined to become an Energy Eater someday.

Sun's childhood was very happy, he also had a girl friend since childhood who was adopted by his family, his name is Sasa. Every day laughter always adorned the face, although simple, but it was very pleasant for Sun to have a family like this. He even promised to protect her for life.

One afternoon, there was a middle-aged man standing on the border of the village with a big river. Without long, Sun immediately approached the man. Her smile was so bright at that time.

"Uncle Night!" Sun waved his hand as he called out the name of the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man known as Night turned away. "Oh, Sun. What the hell are you doing here?"

"Hihi, I'm just taking a walk."

"You'd better be home soon, and your mother will be looking for you."

"He wouldn't worry if I was with uncle ...."

"Haha, alright, uncle will take you home now."

"Let's go!" Soon Sun climbed onto Night's shoulder, then Night walked towards Sun's house.

Arriving at their destination, Sun's mother opened the door with a warm smile. "Mr Night, forgive my son for continuing to trouble you."

"Haha, it's not a big deal." Night lowered Sun from his back, then he stroked the boy's head slowly. "He is a soldier who will bring peace to this village. Yeah, right, Sun?"

Sun was so happy to hear Night's praise of her. "Yes! Someday, I'll be like uncle."

"Good spirit." Slowly Night re-enforced his body. "All right, I'll be right back."

"Didn't you want to stop by for a little dinner with us?" bargain mother Sun.

"Come, Uncle. Mom's cooking is so good." Sun excitedly invited Night.

"Sorry, Sun ...." Once again Night stroked Sun's head. "My daughter is waiting for me. Maybe next time." Finally Night walked away while waving his hand.

"Yeah ...." It was obvious that Sun was a little disappointed.

"Let's go in, Sun. Sasa is waiting for you inside."

"Good, Mom."

Leon listened quietly as Sun began his story. Everyone in the white room was silent, still waiting for Sun to continue the story of his past. However, at the moment of saying the last sentence, Sun looked glum and shut his mouth.

"So, that's how you knew Night at first?" ask Leon, not knowing what to say.

"Yeah, he's like a real hero to me."

"Then, what happens next ...?" Though a little hesitant, Leon still asked that question."

"I think you've guessed it, but I'll keep telling you what's next."

Sun came out of the house with Sasa, they stood there, unable to move their bodies. Suddenly they were pushed by a man to the ground. While the person who pushed them was then hit by a large rock, then died.

"A .. yeah ...." Sun's hands were outstretched, his tears dripping.

Suddenly a large piece of wood shot towards Sun. Instantly Sasa hugged the boy tightly. However, what touched the bodies of the two of them was a droplet of blood, not wood.

Sun saw her, a warm smile from a woman he loved. "I .. .. ms ...." Sun's chest was tight, his eyes were wide open, his entire body trembling. "Mother!" He tried to stand up, but Sasa did not let it go.

"Don't, Sun!"

"Sasa, move! Don't block me!"

"No!" Sasa's body also trembled, tears clearly washing away his face. "Sun .. don't go ...."

"But, Mother ...."

Sun looked up, his eyes looking at the figure of a middle-aged man whom he was very familiar with. However, the expression of that person was different. Sun hopes that he will save everyone, but the fact is that he attacked the residents and destroyed their homes.

"Uncle .., you ...." Sun's mouth could no longer say anything.

The middle-aged man that Sun was staring at drew a sword on his back. Without any warning, he threw the sword at Sun and Sasa. However, before the sword managed to pierce through the tiny bodies of the two children, someone came and resisted the attack.

Sun still remembers the red-haired man who saved his life. And at the same time, the middle-aged man he saw above had disappeared.

The man with red hair turned to Sun, then said, "Son, are you just going to just shut up and let the girl in your arms keep crying?"

For a moment Sun glanced at Sasa who turned out to be crying helplessly in his arms. He could not understand what the red-haired man meant, but he wanted to be strong.

"Good determination, son. I'll give you the strength to protect her." A smile flashed across the lips of the red-haired man before finally disappearing for a while.

Hearing Sun's past stories leaves Leon speechless. He still could not understand the reason why Night betrayed Sun and destroyed his village. And, this reminds Leon that he also did the same thing, making people fight each other just for fun.

Now Leon has become more understanding, how painful it is to lose a loved one. It all made him very eager to finish off all of the Fantasy Beings from the world without the slightest remnant.

Leon clenched his hands tightly, then stood up. "You must really want to take revenge for your village, right, Sun?"

"Yes ...."

"All right, I'll help you. We're gonna go after Night until we get it."

Sun slightly flinched. "You sure?"

"certain." Leon smiled, then his mouth uttered a sentence so small that it could not be heard by anyone, "Then, please kill me when it's all over ...."
