[S3] Chapter 13: Power

Leon took a deep breath, Tan was already no longer stressing himself like before. The black-colored sword in Leon's hand grew elongated, but Tan only budged when he saw it.

For a moment Leon turned his eyes to Sun. "If it continues to be here, the oxygen will run out. You better get this wall off."

"You sure? Can beat him?" Sun hesitated a little at Leon's words.

Not really caring, Leon turned his eyes back to Tan. "Quick do. I don't fight alone!"

Seeing the strong determination inside Leon, Sun finally nodded and cancelled the wall of fire. The puff of smoke instantly disappeared carried away by the gust of wind. From behind them were Gild, Theo, and Sasa standing.

Sun slightly said to the three of them, for a moment he glanced at Leon, but immediately looked back at Tan. "Let's beat him!" he said full of confidence.

The three people who had been standing at the back immediately approached Leon and Sun. Sasa stood at the very back, while Gild and Theo stood side by side with Leon and Sun.

"We beat him with quantity!" Gild drew his sword forward, as did Theo.

Leon glanced at all of them, then said, "Sun has spent a lot of energy, Sasa should take care of her."

"I'm fine! Relax!"

Sun was lying down as Theo beside him patted the young man on the back. "Well from where?"

"Let me take care of her!" Sasa pulled Sun back, then began to give treatment.

"You two, I know it's probably too late. But, I wanted to apologize for my attitude a while ago," Leon said, slowly. However, without any expression.

"Not to worry! Sun is fine, we just need to fight as hard as we can right now." Unexpectedly, Gild who had been filled with anger instantly calmed down.

"Now we just need to defeat that thing!" sahut Theo while pointing his sword forward.

"What did you whisper from earlier?" ask Tan. It seems like this fantasy creature is tired of waiting. Although, actually he did not have to wait and immediately attacked.

Leon immediately ran with all his might, the black sword in his hand extending to the right side. With full force he slashed the sword horizontally from right to left.

"Him!" Leon's steps came to a halt, the sword he swung towards Tan. "Feel this!"

However, the attack was restrained in the blink of an eye. Dust flew, when it began to disappear, it was clear Leon's sword was held in empty hands by Tan.

Lying that Leon wasn't surprised, this attack was his mainstay technique. However, despite having broken through Tan's invisible defenses, the fantasy creature was still able to withstand the slash of a sword using his bare hands.

"Hey, hey!" Tan's face instantly changed. "You turned out to be quite a hassle!" In the blink of an eye he was already right in front of Leon.

Unable to react to the surprise attack, Leon was thrown very far behind due to a blow from Tan. Not quite getting there, Tan shot straight back into the air and clenched his hands.

"Don't ignore us!"

From the side, a flash of electricity and a wind blade floated right towards Tan. It was an attack from Gild and Theo. However, without needing to do anything, Tan was able to withstand the attack.

"Bother!" tan shouted in annoyance.

Another surprise soon happened again. From the front one large black-colored spear appeared then struck him. Leon got up and took a few steps back. Far in front of him was Sasa who was taking care of Sun.

He desperately slashed at Tan from close range using his black sword. But, again Tan just held him down using his bare hands.

Now, Leon is thrown very far from his friends, Tan also does not want to stop chasing him. But now he is not alone. From the back, a flash of lightning and a wind blade shot back towards Tan.

The attack was only a small matter for Tan, but still Leon's friends attacked him using it. Tan landed, the ground shaking violently enough, to the point that Leon was made to jump by him.

Soon after landing, Tan darted towards Leon. However, Leon showed a big smile here.

The entire aura all over Leon's body instantly faded, he coughed up to spit out blood. His body was limp, while Tan was about to get to his presence.

Leon was lying on the ground, suddenly Tan stared stiffly without being able to move in the slightest. From his mouth came fresh blood that poured out until it dripped on Leon's head.

Tan had already lost consciousness, although he did not appear to be injured, he had lost this time. Yes, the creature is really dead.

In Leon's subconscious, there was Ellise who was panting. The girl tried to hold her already irregular breath. Suddenly Leon appeared right in front of Ellise with a warm smile.

"You've fought, Ellise. Now rest. The rest leave it to them out there" Leon said, embracing Ellise's hands.

"Alright," Ellise replied with a smile. He was convinced that Leon's words could be trusted.

Out there, Tan was already lying on the ground without any awareness. The wound he received was not a physical wound, but a psychic wound.

This all happened because of Ellise's power. The girl was able to make a weapon to injure Tan's soul. The attacks from Theo and Gild were only a diversion, this was also the reason why Leon looked quite calm during the fight.

Tan's assassination plan is successful, although Leon must run out of power so Ellise can launch a powerful attack on Tan.

Far away there, Gild ran over. Instantly he was stunned to see Leon and Tan lying down. Before this he wasn't too sure of Leon's plans, but now he had no doubts about Leon's strength.

"This ... Isn't Tan's strength strong? Butwhy? Why did he get defeated by Leon?" Although there were still many questions in his head, Gild immediately checked on Leon. "Ah, that's not important. Now how's this guy doing?"

In an instant he could sigh in relief. Leon's pulse was still throbbing, because basically Leon did not die, but was just too exhausted due to his energy being drained.

Shortly after, Theo, Sasa, and Sun who had regained consciousness immediately came closer to Gild. They also reacted the same as Gild before, but in the end immediately approached Gild.

"Did Leon defeat this creature ...?" ask Theo, doubt it.

"As you say. He managed to do so," replied Gild, calm down, although he was actually still very surprised.

"Tan was one of the two strongest fantasy creatures, and he managed to defeat him?" Again Theo asked.

"Maybe this Tan had already spent a lot of time playing around with Sun before." Gild changed the topic. "That's nothing to think about. Sasa, get him back!"

"Good!" Sasa moves quickly to treat Leon's injuries.
