[S3] Chapter 7: Meeting

Eventually Leon and Sun arrive at a fairly tall building. This place is in the middle of a small town.

There were several guards at the entrance gate, but Sun and Leon could pass through it so easily, because those guards had known Sun. Entering the entrance, Leon continued to observe around.

There was nothing, just an empty floor as well as a few soldiers. Climbing to the top, Leon and Sun are now where the 1st level Energy Eaters dwell.

On top of the throne, a young man sat while propping his chin. He just kept quiet, looking at Leon and Sun in turn.

"Mr Vord, he's Leon. It seemed that he got lost here without knowing the direction back, so I brought him here," Sun said respectfully and kneeled on the floor.

Leon just kept quiet, looking at Sun strangely. Why this kid? thought Leon. Wasn't the person up there only a few years apart from him?

"Hey, you get on your knees ...!" whispered Sun.

"Why? Do I really have to do it?" leon asked, not intending to hide his refusal.

"You're pretty interesting." Suddenly, Vord stared at Leon. "It's okay for you to just stand there, I don't mind either. And, Sun, stand up!"

"Oh, I'm sorry if it's disrespectful. But, I haven't remembered the manners for a long time." Leon put both hands in his pants pocket.

"Your clothes look shabby, you better go clean up first and come back here." Vord switched to Sun. "Take him back here after cleaning up!"

"Good, Master!" Sun turned to the exit. "Come on!"

Leon followed the young man in silence, not having a conversation for quite some time. As ordered, Sun escorted Leon to a room inside this magnificent building. The room is nothing but a room for guests who want to stay, or you could say before this is an empty room.

"You clean yourself up there, I'll come back to pick you up after some time."

"All right." Leon went into the room. It is not special, there is only a bed, desk chair, and closet.

Hey, Ellise. Don't you intend to close your eyes? Or do you want to see through my eyes?

What the hell does that mean? If so why? Was bad?

Hehehe, I didn't say bad anyway, but ....

You might not want to see it.

I'll take a shower, then change clothes—

Kyah! Stop that! Ellise immediately closed her eyes using both hands.

After a while, Leon and Sun had been inside the spacious room of Vord. This time, Leon was already dressed neatly, wearing a black suit covered in black robes.

"Hey, what are you doing?" It seems Leon is a little suspicious of Vord.

"Sorry, I'm just making sure there's a wiretap or something behind your clothes."

"Who knows what's in your mind." Vord sat back on his throne.

Leon is still keeping his distance, be alert in case the Vord strikes suddenly. Only silence happened.

"Sun, you come out. Let me speak to him with four eyes!"

"Good!" Sun immediately walked out of the room on Vord's orders.

Leon did not turn his eyes elsewhere, he kept staring at Vord with a flat expression. While the Vord was also silent, it did not intend to attack.

"The lord!" Leon finally started the conversation.

"Hm?" The Vord's response was simply throttling.

"Actually who are you? Why did you make this little town?"

"Why are you asking again?" The vord purposely propped up the chin with the hand. "Of course this is for the people out there to live!"

"That's all?"

"It looks like you came out of nowhere. But I think there's something weird about your body. You seem to have two energies."

"I don't understand what you mean!"

"It's only natural you don't understand." Vord's breath was longer than before. "I feel the presence of human energy and—"

This time a sword floated right into Leon's face. Leon caught it with his right hand.

"There's a Fantasy-like energy in that body of yours!" A sharp gaze directed Vord towards Leon.

"Is that so? But I'm just an ordinary man. And Sun said, I'm level with level 2 Energy Eaters."

"Haha, you don't have to listen to her. You have the potential to become a level 1 Energy Eater, just like us."

"Then?"

"I can train you, but you have to devote yourself to our small town. How's it?"

"Why should I take it?"

"Because then you can become a level 1 Energy Eater."

"I don't think it's profitable."

Vord pointed at Leon. "Then, what is your real purpose?"

Leon is not so tense anymore. He threw his sword at just any place, then approached Vord.

"I will save mankind. Eliminate all Fantasy Beings and restore prosperity. Not just limited here, but everywhere."

"Taeh ...." The smile of the knot is shown Vord. "Enoughly interesting. But, taking out all the Fantasy Beings was just nonsense. Your powers now don't even equal me."

"It looks like you think you're very strong."

"Because I'm strong."

Leon remained relaxed, pointing his right hand forward right at Vord. Vord looked at Leon's black right hand, he didn't know why Leon showed it to him.

Could it be that Leon was about to attack the Vord blatantly after this?
