[S2] Chapter 2 part 5

After searching for some time, Lize finally saw the back of the young man she was looking for. The black clothes worn by the young man, made him slightly disguised in the shadows of the forest, as the sun began to lean towards the west. Lize's breathing was already breathless, having already dashed to and fro, looking for the young man who was now in front of her.

Unaware of Lize's presence behind him, Creeps continued walking while putting both hands into his pants pocket. Meanwhile, Lize's hand had been raised trying to reach the young man's back, but what he wanted to achieve was getting further away.

“Tu-Wait!” Lize's voice was so slow that Creeps could not hear her. “Creeps!” The tone slightly rose, making Creeps slightly jerked and turned around.

The young man could see a girl was breathing in, with a bent body supported by both arms leaning against the knees. Creeps becomes sympathetic, then approaches the girl.

“You all right?” creeps asked while bowing, glancing at Lize's face.

“Yes, I'm fine.” Slowly but surely, Lize caught her breath gasping. Over time, the girl's breathing stabilized.

Time passed in silence filled only by the sound of mosquitoes and Lize's breath was still not normal. After the fatigue disappeared, Lize straightened her body back to how it was. Sweat that soaks all over the body also begins to dry up.

Orange rays from the afternoon sun now fill the forest, but not all, because there is a part of the forest that is dark. In those not-so-bright conditions, Creeps and Lize exchanged glances for a while. Then, the gusts of wind made them look longer, but eventually turned their eyes to each other.

Still in a flat tone, Creeps again said, “So, why are you looking for me?”

At first glance, there was a faint smile on Lize's face. “Nothing. I just want to enjoy these days in peace, of course with a friend.”

“Friends, huh?” Creeps' facial features changed slightly. “Aware, Lize. You've betrayed those who consider you a friend. And you can still say ‘Teman’ calmly, even though you have done something disgraceful.”

So, this is why she is so upset with me, thought Lize, who ended up smiling wryly. A rotten man like me does not deserve to have a friend. Because, just for my own convenience, I could have betrayed them .... I am rubbish.

“But, never mind, let the past be the past only and not repeated in the future.” The sentence was uttered Creeps when he saw Lize's gloomy face. “You understand 'right?”

Unknowingly, Lize spilled her tears. Creeps immediately felt guilty when he saw it. “Ah, sorry. Looks like I've been bad to you.”

“It's okay.” Both of Lize's hands, rubbing the tears flowing profusely on her beautiful face. “You're right, I'm a very bad person. Very bad.”

“He-Hei, stop it.” Creeps tried to persuade. “You are not wrong, everyone has felt it.”

“Trust me, no one has never done anything wrong. There are only people who learn from their mistakes, and get better again.”

Although Creeps said that sentence to Lize, but he himself was still down because he had done a heinous thing. What he said was not just for Lize, but rather as a reminder to her. He still remembers the day he and some of his companions tortured an innocent young man, because of Andrew's unreasonable orders. However, no one was willing to go against Andrew, they were too afraid of confronting the young man.

Creeps gently wiped the tears on Lize's face. “No need to cry, we are a depressed people who can only obey on command.”

“Why are you so pessimistic?” Lize smiled looking into the eyes of her friend. “I should have comforted you, but why did you comfort me?”

“Because from the beginning, I already intend to entertain you.”

Lize immediately gasped at the words Creeps. “Ke-Why?”

“That's because you're in trouble, and it turns out my acting is pretty good that it makes you touched.”

“You ..!”

“Hahaha, here you are, a cheerful girl.”

Not felt, the night came. Lize and Creeps rushed towards a cave that became their headquarters—Klan Dragon.

The sound of water droplets echoing inside the ear. Eyes slowly opened until I finally realized that this self was already under a shady tree. Although the ear hears the sound of dripping water, not a single eye can find where the sound came from.

“In-Where is this?” The head felt a little dizzy, making me massage it with both hands.

The air temperature was so cold, and bright moonlight shone all over the body. I stood up, trying to adjust myself so as not to fall because I lost my balance. This self is a little shrewd, but can finally stand normally.
