[S2] Chapter 11: The Genuine Power of Dervishes

Shortly after Dervish parted with Leon, he was immediately surrounded by some people from the Dragon Clan. Among them was Zanik who was holding his own right hand with his left. Seeing this situation, Dervish remained calm, as if nothing would happen here.

“Hey, Become-genesis!” zanik said, trying to provoke Darwis' emotions. “Give up now, or you'll die.”

Dervish laughed a little, as if the threat was just a joke. “You told me to give up, when you were battered like that. Are you sane?”

The current condition of Zanik was very unlikely to fight. The energy in his crystal had been exhausted due to the fight earlier. In addition, he could not survive without recovery from his evolution. The Dragon Clan looked very alarming. Where Kaiser, Scof, as well as Zanik were already very weak. Only Glory and Ray remain who may still have enough energy.

However, despite not having time to fill the energy with hot sun, Dervish has absorbed the heat energy produced by a fierce fight a few years ago. Plus, the time of the isthirahat made his energy recover. It's a kind of luck to Darwis.

Without lingering, Darwis instantly took out his fire wings. Zanik and his group retreated a few steps in shock at this Dervish action. However, with full confidence, Zanik still encouraged his colleagues. “Don't be afraid, it's just a bluff. The five of us, while he was alone.”

Suddenly a lightning bolt shot towards Dawis. However, Darwis casually pointed his sword tip forward to deal with the attack.

Dust was scattered when an explosion destroyed the wall of soil that had trapped Dervish. Zanik also his group is very hopeful Darwis died because of the lightning attack earlier. Little by little the dust began to go away carried by the cold night wind. From within the dust, a brown-skinned creature was pointing its sword forward.

“Must be sure. He was even able to withstand the lightning strike earlier with ease.” Kaiser's eyes widened, disbelieving the situation.

“Maybe he's charred,” said Scof, trying to melt the atmosphere.

However, Scof's words were completely wrong, because Dervish was still standing upright without any injuries. “Who do you call already charred, huh?”

A ball of fire shot quickly, penetrating Scof's stomach into a hole like a tunnel. In fact, because of the heat of the fireball, the wound on Scof's stomach to dry and do not bleed. Scof fell down on the ground with wide eyes.

“Stupid people,” murmured Dervish. Pure energy instantly surrounded Dervish and held the fireball back earlier. “If I didn't have the ability to control this pure energy, I would have been completely destroyed while resisting Andrew's attack back then.”

Shortly after, a lightning bolt struck Darwis, followed by several giant earth hands. However, no matter how much Zanik and his comrades resisted, all of that seemed meaningless to Darwis.

“You!” Suddenly, Zanik forced himself to attack Darwis using a magma ball.

Dervishes stomped their feet to the ground, flames surrounded them, then crept quickly around. Zanik was also his partner hit by Dervish's attack, but the magma ball Zanik threw could still be restrained by Dervish's pure energy protector.

Darwis's eyes turned into the bored gaze of a monstrous monster. “As one of the guards, where maybe I will lose to all of you. About the formation of the forest and everything that is here, I know very well. Actually, all this time I really wanted to play around and enjoy my days while running errands, but time said another.”

Beyond a doubt, Zanik and his group manage to survive because of the earth wall made by Ray. Meanwhile, Darwis just stared boredly at them all. The only people Darwis considered strong were Andrew and one other person. And his job here now is to kill Andrew at all costs.

Suddenly, a huge explosion buzzed in the ears. Far away there, two men were fighting. Darwis turned his head for a moment, then looked back at the people before him. “You all don't deserve to be my opponents now. Understand that.”

Zanik who heard that sentence immediately gasped. He thought, only Andrew was the strongest man here, but it turns out he was too petty to be able to see the world widely. Now he understands he's just an ant when great people show up. His mentality shrank because he used to think the strongest person was himself, but the facts said something else.

After the situation, Zanik could only fall to his knees on the ground muttering, “I lost.”

Teammates are too. After knowing the power of Dervish is very frightening, they are unable to do anything. However, Kaiser remained stubborn and ran towards Dervish. “Mahkluk so-fucking incident!” One punch was launched by Kaiser, but Dervish could dodge easily.

Even so, Dervish could easily dodge, as Kaiser's attack was only a diversion of his own frustration. “Saddening,” said Darwis who directly cut off Kaiser's hand, then stabbed the young man's head before he could shout. “In this way, one problem has been solved. A sudden scream of pain echoed, as Darwis glanced at the source of the voice, his eyes immediately wide-eyed at what was happening there. Ignoring everything, Darwis darted swiftly upwards using his wings. However, it is too late, Leon, the man who shouted the death has been unconscious and dumped by Andrew.

“Job!” So many fireball attacks were launched by Darwis towards Andrew. But Andrew easily stopped it.

When Darwis is about to dart to save Leon, Andrew gets in the way. Then, the fight ensued until Leon fell lying on the concrete floor after destroying the roof of a house.

“Soaring!” Dervish poured energy into his sword, then slashed it at Andrew.

Meanwhile, Andrew made a sword of light in his hand and clashed the sword with Darwis. Attack after attack is launched Dervish, but Andrew tenaciously withholds all attacks while looking for a gap.
