“He-Hey! Why do you look at me like that?” asked Lize whose face was slightly flushed.

The question made me realize, if in fact these eyes did not turn away from him. Because of that, I quickly turned my face the other way, and tried to hide my expression from Lize.

“O-Oh yes, why did you bring me here?” I nervously asked to shift the shame.

“Ah yes, I forgot to tell you.” He was a little jolted at remembering something. “Actually we never intended to hurt you.”

“What do you mean? Isn't it obvious that you guys want to beat me up and make me bait.”

“Hahaha, I didn't think you'd take it seriously.”

I tilted my head in confusion, why did he laugh at my rebuttal. And to be honest, this heart feels a little disturbed because of it. But I let it go, and then asked again.

“Actually what does all this mean?”

Reacting to my question, Lize immediately stopped her laughter, and began to explain.

“Ah, sorry!” There was a pause for a few moments. “Alright, where do I start.”

‘How do I know.’ I really wanted to say that, but those words could not come out of my mouth.

“Hm, may I start with the incident 100 years ago,” Connect the girl.

“Hah?” I opened my mouth wide, astonished at his words.

“Hahaha, I was just kidding. No need to be taken seriously.”

Fortunately, he was only joking, because if indeed he started telling stories from 100 years ago, until when the story would be finished.

I sighed because I was resigned to the situation. “Oh Lize, don't make me more curious. Quickly tell me what you know.”

It seems, I look a little pushy to the point of making Lize a little distracted by it. However, how else, I am very curious about everything that has happened to this day.

After a moment of silence and awkwardness, Lize finally sighed, then said, “If I'm to be honest, I still don't know for sure everything that's going on in this forest. It's just, maybe I was sent here earlier than you.”

One not-so-toned punch, slammed into my shoulder to the point of making me half-dead shocked.

“Haah, haah, haah ..” My breath somehow became breathless and sweat so profusely, pouring all over my body.

Slowly, I turned my eyes back, from here I could see a blue-eyed girl, looking at me in wonder.

“Ah, forgive me, Lize.” I said to him, with regret.

A forced-looking smile, appeared on Lize's face. However, her pale lips could tell this, if in fact she might have been frightened when she saw the look on my face earlier.

“That's why are you putting on such a creepy face?”

A question from Lize's mouth, made me no longer need to confirm the truth of my guess, just a while ago.

I turned my face the other way, then replied, “Ma-Sorry, I didn't mean that.”

Before Lize could continue, a shout came from inside the cave, making him stop talking.

“Hei!” And so, that voice, out loud.

In response to this, Lize and I immediately turned their eyes toward the cave, and stared in astonishment.

“Hm, who is it?” I muttered as I continued to look towards the cave.

It did not take long, a tall, black-haired young man who was cut short and neatly arranged, wearing a red t-shirt and black trousers, just like the one worn by Lize.

With a few steps in front of us, the young man stopped his steps, then spoke in a stern tone. “Lize, why did you even bring this snot boy here?”

“Ya, it's because ...”

Lize was silent for a few moments. He seemed to be racking his brain, in order to convey an acceptable reason for the young man.

Seeing that, my little heart felt unbearable, that Lize had to bear this burden alone. After all, he did this to calm my mind, by looking at the scenery of the flower garden, even if it was just an illusion.

I put my foot down, and stopped just to the left of Lize. He seemed to be wondering why I wanted to help him solve the problem. However, I ignored that, and began negotiations with the young man.

“Hey, Man! Relax slightly! We can solve this by peaceful way.” I tried to persuade the young man in front of me.

The young man raised one of his eyebrows, then answered with a question. “What is the relationship of this problem with you?”

I knew he was going to ask that, so I had thought of a reason from the beginning, which might get me involved in this matter.

“Yes, that's because, he brought me here when I whined at him.”

“Pfft .. hahahaha, you're joking, yes.”

The young man laughed after hearing my answer. But I still don't know why he could be like that. Because I thought, I didn't say any strange words.

I swiftly turned my gaze toward the voice, and saw Lize who was hitting the young man in the face, with the right hand.

Honestly, I really don't understand why they're acting this way. Because I really don't know what's wrong with what I just said.

“What's the matter?” ask me with curiosity.

“You don't know Lize's true nature yet, so it's worth it that you don't know. Haha,” replied the young man after a satisfied laugh.

“Lah? What is its true nature?”

Before the young man could answer, I heard the sound of fingers ringing, from the side.

Yes, that's right, the one who rang that finger, was Lize. His eyes looked very sharp and were directed at the young man. In response to the gaze, the young man immediately shrieked and lowered his head. “Iya, yes, I won't say it.”

Heh? Isn't it now too late to say that, because even though I wasn't told, this self can already guess how Lize's true nature was just a few pointers a while back.

Suddenly the wind blew fiercely from the front, making me close my eyes. Along with that, I could hear the crow's cheers that seemed to be in a panic.

“Groarr!”

A roar that was so loud, immediately made this self recall the incident, which was none other than the incident when we were being played by a large monster.

“Ah! Is again I have bad luck,” I said because I have resigned to the situation.
