Their laughter slowly stopped as the entrance bell rang. The three of them glanced at each other at the empty Kagami bench.

"Where is Kagami? Why hasn't he arrived yet?" Mirai asked.

"I don't know. I want to apologize to him. But ... I think he might be here any minute." Alita is still trying to think positively.
