Chapter 94: 94

“This place is amazing!” Miko could not help but exclaim.

John agreed. “Agree, it's like the whole world is located inside here. We have walked for hours but the mountains are still very far in the distance. I wonder how big this world really is.”

“I heard from my father that this world has no borders, or at least no one has ever found world prominence. Not only that, but also changes every time.” Ryan added.

“Mhm, either we are being sent to different regions of this world, or it really changes every time it opens. After all, whoever made this world must have been truly extraordinary.” John was really amazed at whoever made this nature.

While walking in the direction Miko had chosen, the group had met some ferocious beasts that seemed to live in the world. They are species they have never seen or heard of before, and some of them attack the group. But they were all Body Refinement or Mist Creation monsters, and were easily sent by the group.

After half a day of walking, the group finally saw an object appear in the distance.

“What is it ... palace?” Ryan asked as he closed his eyes to look.

“It looks like so. Let's check.” John responded as the group began walking towards the palace. Half an hour later, they finally arrived in front of the palace, and the three of them opened their eyes wide in shock.

The white marble palace was nearly a mile high and several miles wide, and many towers jutted high into the sky. It contained a majestic aura, but time damage was visible on its exterior. Parts of the palace were damaged or destroyed, and dirt and dust covered the outside.

“This is the biggest palace I've ever seen,” muttered Miko, while Ryan nodded in agreement. Only John was not too surprised, as the palace in his special world dwarfed this one.

“Come in, but be careful.” John said to the group and started walking forward.

All the groups walked forward, and entered the palace whose gates were wide open. Although the palace was several miles wide, only the main passageway was open for them to walk down, and it brought them straight to the heart of the palace.

The three of them continued to push their heavenly senses to their limits to identify any potential dangers before they fell into it. After a few minutes of walking, the group arrived at a very large room.

Their eyes were all fixed on an object in the middle of the room, which was a huge tablet, tens of meters tall, with incredible marks etched all over its surface. The rest of the large room was empty, signifying that the only thing that mattered was the tablet itself.

The three of them carefully walked forward before they were forcefully stopped by the pressure emanating from the tablet.

“What the fuck? We can't move forward?” Miko asked in confusion.

“It looks like so. I wonder what this tablet is about?” John said while studying the tablet closely. Suddenly, John finds himself appearing in a completely different room, which is empty except for himself.

“What just happened?” John doesn't know how he showed up in the room,

While searching for a way out, a figure suddenly appeared in John's vision. He took out his scythe in an instant, but laughed at himself as soon as he took a closer look.

‘It's just a training doll. I wonder why it appeared? ‘ While thinking about this question, a monotone voice suddenly appeared in John's head.

“Strike targets with all your strength, and you can leave this place.”

“What the fuck? What sound is it?” John was completely shocked to hear the voice echoing in his own mind. He had never experienced anything like this before, and had no idea who or what said those words.

‘Said to attack the doll, at which point I can go. I don't know why it happened, but I'll do what it says. ‘

The Supreme Art of Combat!

John strengthened himself to his strongest battle condition, and steadied his scythe in front of him.

The Myriad Annihilation Scythe

John attacks with a melee version of his Myriad Annihilation Scythe, which is also reinforced by his Supreme Battle Art.

In the tournament, John Dantian's essence was at the center of the Fog Creation Realm, so the power he exerted for his attacks was quite minimal when compared to his Supreme Combat Art. Now, however, with his Dantian essence and body Dantian both at the last Mist Creation Realm, John's most powerful attack was to use the Myriad Annihilation Scythe in conjunction with the Supreme Combat Art.

An ordinary cultivator would send a hundred percent of their Qi output to their attacks, be it essence or body, which would result in attacks at a hundred percent of their peak strength.

On the other hand, a dual cultivator would have to send fifty percent of their Qi to their essence attacks, and fifty percent of their Qi to their body, that superimposed onto the attacks was about seventy-five percent of their full strength when compared to a single path cultivator. This was why no one stepped on the dual cultivation path, as it took longer to cultivate, and resulted in a weaker overall attack.

However, with his two dantians, John was able to send a hundred percent of his Qi essence to the Myriad Annihilation Scythe, while a hundred percent of his Qi body went to the Supreme Battle Art. These two full-powered attacks superimposed on each other to achieve attack power far beyond what normal Mist Creation cultivators were capable of.

The explosion!

Scythe John collided with the stone figure in front of him, and exploded into a hail of rocks and dust. John took a deep breath as he stared at the result of his attack, which was the first time he had unleashed this combination attack since his dantian essence had advanced into the late Fog Creation Realm.

‘It's even stronger than I expected.’

While thinking about his attack, the voice once again appeared in his head.

“You have no interest in this legacy.”

“What? No...” asked John back to the voice, but cut off his words when he found himself back in the large room where he was before. Miko appeared a few seconds later, and looked around in bewilderment before looking at John by her side.

“Where did you go? Did you also go to another room?” John asked Miko. Miko justifies John's suspicions as she details what happened to her, which is exactly what happened to John himself.

“The voice told me that I did not deserve his legacy. What nonsense is it?” Miko was angry. “If a heavenly genius like me is not worthy, who?”

John laughed at Miko's comment and nodded his head in agreement. If Miko, with her extraordinary talent and soul type variants, and John, with her innate variant body and dual cultivation were not worthy, then who?

A minute later, Ryan appeared beside the two of them, completely exhausted but with a wide smile on his face.

“What happened to you? Do you also have to attack that figure?” Miko asked Ryan. John thought that Ryan was very tired from the Qi attack he channeled, but his smile also confused John.

“Could it?” John thinks of something and asks Ryan for confirmation.
