CHAPTER 47: 47

Chapter 47:47

John quickly turned around and looked towards the voice. A few hundred meters away, John saw the source of the voice and narrowed his eyes.

‘That's all the men from the campground. I won't be able to escape from this. ‘

John silently looked towards the man. The group consisted of six men, one of whom was a strong Qi Condensation cultivator. All the men were wearing pure black uniforms and face masks covered their faces. Clearly, they wanted to keep their identities a secret, even though John knew they were from the Stalking Mantis Assassin Guild of the braggart he had killed before.

‘Even in my peak condition, I can only die in front of that man.’

John looked towards the strong Qi Condensation cultivator, as he was the one who had just spoken.

The Qi Condensation Cultivator looked around at the battlefield, his eyes looking for something.

“Where Bolton” asked the man coldly,

“Bolton? Sorry, I don't know a Bolton,” John replied in an equally cold voice.

“Don't pretend to be stupid with me. Where are the people we sent after you?” ask the man again.

The man and his group had sorted through the treasure situation of all the storage rings in the campground. After they finished sorting everything out, the man and his group proceeded towards the ongoing battle. Although they had heard a loud bang echoing in the forest from the battle, they assumed that they were from Bolton who was in the process of killing John.

When the group finally arrived at the scene of the battle, all they saw was a severely wounded John walking away.

“Oh, that guy. He was quite annoying, so I sent him to the afterlife, John said in an indifferent tone. With the situation he was in, no one could convince people to let him go, so John would not beg for his life.

The man narrowed his eyes as he looked at John. He was just about to speak when John cut him off.

“You should really thank me, after all, a useless cultivator who could not even kill the middle Fog Creator boy is not someone worth worrying about.”

A hint of anger appeared on the man's face as he responded to John with a raised voice.

“Looks like you don't know your situation right now. After we catch you, I'll make you beg Death” The man looked at John, his eyes shining with anger. Although Bolton was not a strong cultivator within the assassin guild, the man still considered him a close friend. Hearing he was killed sparked his anger. He will make sure that John suffers as much as possible before death.

“Hahahaha”

John began to laugh out loud as blood continued to flow from his lips from the previous fight. He coughed up blood several times before looking towards the man as if he was a fool before a small round disc suddenly appeared in John's hand as he stared at the man with a mocking look.

The man looked at the object in front of his eyes widened in surprise.

John watched the approaching attack with an amused expression.

“I'll go now, but don't worry, we'll see you soon again.” His hand shattered the object, where he disappeared moments before the attack landed violently on the spot he was standing before.

“Sialan” the man cursed furiously. From what happened, he knew the current situation had become much more complicated. One of his men walked by the side and asked him a question.

“Bos. What the hell just happened? Where did the boy go?”

The man narrowed his eyes before replying in a cold voice, “The boy just used a spatial talisman to leave the area. Even if we wanted to, there was no way we could find him now. Not only that, spatial talismans are quite rare, and even I have only seen one in my life before. If a boy as young as that has it, then his status might be something that our guild cannot handle. I need to inform the Guild Leader about this. ”

The subordinate took a cold breath at the description of what had just happened. After a few seconds, he thought of something and spoke.

“Bos, even if that brat has strong support, we should be fine. After all, there's no way he knows who we are, right?”

The boss thought about it for a moment before nodding, his expression becoming much lighter. “You're right. Even if he wanted to take revenge, there was no way he could relate this to us as long as Duke didn't say anything. We'll be fine.”

While the men were talking, John found himself suddenly teleported to another place.

“Ahhh!”

John shouted as he fell hard to the ground. The wound once again opened as his body felt on the verge of collapse.

“Job. Can't this talisman move me to the ground and instead of being fifty feet high in the air” cursed John.

Gritting his teeth due to the excruciating pain, John channeled his remaining strength and barely exerted himself to stand up. He looked around in all directions before seeing something and walked towards her.

John limped for a few minutes before he found himself at the mouth of the cave. The cave was several tens of meters deep, and John could barely see the end of it. He sent out his heavenly sense just to make sure it was empty.

‘Good, seems empty.’

John slowly limped into the cave. He finally managed to walk towards the back of the cave, where he fell to the ground. Waves of fatigue swept over John as he fell unconscious.
