“Should we pass?” miko asked, not sure what to do.

“Yes, we will waste a little time by returning to where we came from. I don't see anything dangerous in the swamp, what about you? Do you feel danger?” John asked Miko. Indra Miko is much sharper.

Miko shook her head. “Not yet.”

“Alright, let's continue. There might be opportunities in it too. The cave is an unknown area, but look what it gives us. Maybe the swamps are the same.”

Miko nodded her head and started walking into the swamp. Based on her stronger cultivation and more refined heavenly feelings, Miko was more than willing to take the lead. The two of them entered, and lived on a small land bridge that seemed to pass through the swamp.

The chirping sounds of insects and toads filled their ears, while dead trees everywhere kept various life forms staring directly at the two of them. Everything in the swamp seemed to be drowning in a hint of darkness, and the aura of death lingered in the air, giving the swamp a terrifying feeling and a premonition.

The murky water next to them burst out, revealing strange-looking creatures pouncing straight at them. The creature looked like a cross between a frog and a salamander, and was several feet tall. His tongue quickly came out of his mouth, piercing straight towards the two of them.

With a wave of her sword, Miko neatly split the strange creature in two. Both parts fall back into the swamp, and John and Miko witness many creatures swarming towards the carcass for free feeding.

“Haha, I'm sure humans are an unusual sight here, so might think we are free food,” John replied with a laugh.

The two continue to venture further into the swamp, and are repeatedly ambushed by creatures who view them as prey. However, each one was cut down with a single strike.

“How big is this swamp? We've been walking for more than a day and the only things we see in this place are creatures stupid enough to attack us. Even the sunlight seemed to avoid this place. Is there anything really valuable? here?” Miko complains while walking.

Even John began to question whether taking this route was the best idea. So far it's just a waste of time. Just as John was about to reply, he and Miko managed to see something through the clump of dead trees.

“What is it?” Miko asked as she closed her eyes to look.

“I don't know, let's get closer,” replied John.

After a few more minutes of walking, John and Miko arrive in the open in the swamp. A green herd flowed in front of them, flowers bloomed, and birds chirped, the opposite of the dead swamp behind them.

“It! It was the Eternal Tree of Vitality. They are said to grow in places of death and dying, and thrive from decay and death,” John replied excitedly.

He had read many books in his clan's library, including books on real and potentially mystical plants. The tree was once in the mythical section, but included detailed images of what it looked like, as well as descriptions of where the tree grew.

John looks up at the top of the tree to confirm his suspicions, and is quickly overjoyed to find out that he is right.

“See, there!” John said, pointing up at the tree. Miko followed the direction of her fingers and immediately saw what John was showing. On the uppermost branch, four large blood-red fruits with black spots on them could be seen.

“It is the fruit of the Eternal Vitality Tree, and that makes it very valuable. Consuming one of those fruits would directly increase one's vitality, make their life force stronger, as well as slightly increase their cultivation.”

Miko's eyes widened in surprise and happiness as she stared at the fruit.

“What happens if you eat more than one?” Miko could not help but ask.

John shook his head as he replied. “From what I read, directly consuming it is beneficial, but after that, the effect no longer works. However, there are some amazing pills that can be made using these fruits, which we can eat in addition to eating one of the fruits. We should try to get it. ”

“Then what are we waiting for,” Miko replied as she pulled out her sword and prepared to send an attack to cut down the branches on the treetops.

“Wait!” john shouted as he quickly ran to stop Miko.

“What?”

“These fruits are very fragile. Your attack power will destroy it. We have to climb the tree and pluck it ourselves,” John replied with a sigh of relief. If he takes a step too late, Miko's attack will destroy this precious treasure.

“Oh, sorry. Come up,” answered Miko.

John and Miko begin to walk through the field like heaven towards the tree, but Miko quickly runs to the back, grabs John's arm and takes him with her. John also senses danger in the last moments, but is a step slower than Miko.

The explosion!

The two of them came to a halt, and gazed directly at the beast that was attacking them from one of the branches above.

“Coming Qi Condensation, yes?”
