The next morning, John wakes up and looks up at the ceiling, thinking of the events of the previous day. Even though he knew it was the truth, he still found it hard to believe that he could cultivate.

John got up from his bed and walked into his wardrobe, wearing his favorite black robe. He then walked downstairs and found his mother in the kitchen making breakfast.

“Oh, you're awake. I made John breakfast. Sit down and eat” his mother said as she watched John walk into the kitchen. John sat down at the kitchen table and started eating the eggs and bacon his mother cooked for him.

“I think I'll go to the Medicinal Pavillion today and buy a blood-busting pill,” John thought as he ate his breakfast.

The Blood Refinement Realm required one to consume various medicinal pills used to potency blood. By drawing in the natural energy from the pill, the blood can be purified and purified, improving its quality and potency. It was the final step in the realm of Body Refinement, where one could transcend the realm of Fog Creation.

After finishing his breakfast, John said goodbye to his mother before exiting the door and heading towards the Medicine Pavilion. He walked for ten minutes before arriving in front of a large building.

The six-sided Medical Pavilion stood seven stories tall with a deep red wall and a gray roof. The interior was decorated with carved beams and sculptures from various pill Elders of the past. Each floor contained various pills and medicinal ingredients, with the rarity and price of the items increasing with each floor.

John walked into the pavilion and looked around for a bit, before he was greeted by a middle-aged man with a friendly face.

“Halo young master, it's been a long time since I've seen you here. What brings you here this time?” ask the man with a smile on his face.

“Elder Barus, long time no see. I'm here to buy some Blood Invigoration” pills John replied.

“Blood Refresh Pill?” Questioning Elder Barus. “It is for Muscle Narrowing cultivators who want to break through to Blood Narrowing. What do you need these pills for?”

“I broke through to Muscle Refinement recently, and I want to attack Blood Refinement” John replied. Although the Elder did not need to know the usefulness of the pill, John felt no need to hide it from him.

“You can cultivate now? When did that happen?” asked the surprised Elder.

“Newly” replied John with a slight smile on his face, but he did not explain further.

The shocked expression on Elder Barus' face slowly faded as he replied “Well, that's incredible news for the clan. I will go gather the standard amount of pills that each member uses to break through to the Blood Refinement. Immediately return” replied the Elder before heading through the entrance behind the building.

John started wandering around the first floor, looking at the various items available to buy. Shortly after, John heard footsteps behind him and turned around. He saw Elder Barus returning with a jug.

Elder Barus handed the jar to John before saying, “Five blood purification pills are inside. It will help you break through to the Blood Refining realm”

John thanked the older man as he picked up the jar, scouring the items around the pavilion even more before coming out. John walked back home and into his bedroom, before he sat in a meditative position. John put the jar in front of him and calmed his mind. After sitting for a few minutes, John took out the first red pill and put it in his mouth.

As the pill dissolved in his stomach, John could feel his body heating up. His blood started to flow profusely, and he felt the energy in his body begin to increase. John quietly observed the changes in his body, and after a few minutes, the effect of the pill subsided.

“Although this is the last stage in the Body Refinement realm, switching from Muscle Narrowing to Blood Narrowing is the fastest Body Refinement realm. All I have to do is eat these five pills and mer*ngs*ng my blood potency, he said, at which point I would have reached Blood Refinement “John thought excitedly to himself as he took the next pill and put it in his mouth

John continued the same process for the remaining pills, and after the five pills were consumed, John hoped to feel an increase in strength as his blood was purified and purified. “You failed? Bizarrely. Maybe the batch is broken. By the way, give me a minute and I will return with another batch.” Elder Barus replied as he walked towards the back of the building. Elder Barus returned a few minutes later with a new bottle of pills and handed them to John.

“Stables it contains ten pills, just in case. After you are done, please go back and return the unused pills” Elder Barus told John. John thanked the Elder before walking back to his room. He closed the door and sat back in his meditative position.

After a few minutes of self-soothing, John put the pill into his mouth. He felt his blood start to flow faster as his body heated up again. After a few minutes, the effect was gone and John returned to normal.

“What the fuck? Still nothing? I refuse to believe I can't break through” John thought inwardly as he stuffed another pill into his mouth. An hour later, John stared helplessly at the empty jar in front of him, his cultivation still restrained in the realm of Muscle Narrowing.

“I refuse to believe this. I need more pills,” John said as he exited his bedroom, before running back to the Medicinal Pavilion. Arriving in front of the building, John stormed inside and found Elder Barus was cataloguing some medicinal ingredients.

“I need more pil” exclaimed John to the elder as he walked closer. The surprised Elder Barus looked up to see John charging towards him, an expression of displeasure all over his face.

“John? What does this mean? Did you take these pills and sell them? There is no way you took everything yourself and still have not broken through” Elder Barus replied angrily.

“Why should I sell pills? I can already buy whatever I want in the clan as long as I ask my father. I don't have to make money from the pills. I took all fifteen pills you gave me and I am still in Muscle Refinement “ replied John angrily.

Elder Barus looked at John, at a loss for words. He'll open his mouth when John speaks up. “Give me all the blood purification pills you have. I'll return the unneeded.”

“Do you know how valuable these pills are? Although it is not that expensive, they used to raise all the youths of our clan” Elder Barus replied, some looks of anger on his face.

“Whatever the price of the pill, my father will bear it. Please, just give me all the pills you have. I will return any pills I ended up not using,” John replied in an exasperated tone.

Elder Barus looked at John for a moment before sighing deeply. He turned around without a word and walked to the back of the building. A few minutes later,

“There are over a hundred pills in this barrel. These are all the Blood Refreshing pills we have. Please just return whatever you do not use back to me as soon as possible” Elder Barus said with a defeated expression on his face.

John looked into the barrel before saying “Thank you, Elder. I promised to return the unused pills as soon as I finished” He excitedly took the barrels before rushing back to his room. Once again, John finds himself in his room, a barrel filled with pills in front of him.

“This time should work. I refuse to believe that I'm stuck in Muscle Refinement” John thought inwardly as he stuffed the pill into his mouth. Time passed by as John blasted out pill after pill, the barrels grew emptier and emptier as John grew more frustrated. Almost losing his mind, John stuffed the sixtieth pill into his mouth, when suddenly, he,

“Boom!”

A muffled explosive sound came out from John's body as he suddenly coughed a mouthful after a mouthful of black blood. The smell of black blood assaulted John's nose, smelling like a rotten carcass. After a minute of spewing black blood, John finally managed to stop and catch his breath.

“I finally made it. I finally broke through the Blood Refinement” realm John told himself,
