The Asura Immortal Asuras
Chapter 36: 36

Chapter 36: 36

“Amazing name. Sounds impressive.” exclaim John.

His eyes were pointing downwards as he began to read the technique. John immediately went into a trance while reading the page. A few hours passed before he finally regained his senses from his trance.

“How deep ... wait, how long have I learned this?” john exclaimed as he looked out the window nearby. The sun was still rising when John started reading the technique, but it was now night.

John looked back at the courtyard in his hand, his mind swirling with various thoughts. As he began to read the technique, John felt as if his mind was being pulled into a separate space. The words on the page seemed to contain a meaning far beyond what he could comprehend.

“Only these words are very deep. I can only imagine what it was like.” He thought about what he had read, taking a few hours to organize his thoughts.

“This page explains how the creator sees the essence of the scythe. Not only that, but it also contained powerful battle arts that utilized such understanding. Unfortunately my original guess was correct. This page is only part of a complete technique.”

John could only frown on the fact that the technique was incomplete. Even so, however, his technique was far more profound than anything John had ever discovered before. The only things with similar depth he experienced were the Eternal Asura Body and the Heavenly Lightning Script, but it was a cultivation technique whereas this was a battle art.

“The words on the page seem to be a way to understand the essence of the technique. It also explains the first three steps to this technique, each more profound than the last. Each step seemed to describe the meridian pathway and acupoints for my Qi, but it was so complicated that I did not know if I would be able to study it any time soon. The requirement of Qi alone to release the first step once should be more than I can manage at the moment. ”

John is a little distressed at the fact that he cannot let go of even the first step of the technique now. But the more he thought about it, the less depressed he was.

“I think the harder the battle art is learned, the stronger it should be. I will learn the first step in the end, at which point it will become one of my greatest strengths .. Meanwhile, I can learn the Myriad Annihilation Scythe. “

John put away the Divine Reaping Scythe page and took out the Myriad Annihilation Scythe technique. John learned the technique for several hours before regaining consciousness.

“It appears that this technique has three parts. The first attack suits me now, the second one should be achievable in the middle Fog Creation realm, and the third attack should be achievable in the late Fog Creation Realm.”

The technique details three different attacks, each with an increase in the amount of Qi required to perform. Just like the Five-Step Movement Technique, the Myriad Annihilation Scythe superimposed each attack on top of the previous attack, building up the power already generated. It was an extremely powerful battle technique that focused on strength and destruction.

“The meridian path described in this technique is quite complicated, but I should be able to learn the first step quite quickly” thought John. John had full confidence in his comprehension ability, and was undaunted by this task.

John got rid of the technique and trained it a little longer before getting into bed. He would fall asleep before his mind thought of something.

“I'm supposed to buy body cultivation battle art as well! Right now I have a strong body, but only use my strong body in the most basic way. The art of battle will greatly increase my fighting prowess.”

John thought of obtaining the body cultivation battle art the next day before he decided not to.

“I've learned so many techniques now, I don't even have time to practice other techniques even if I want to. I will get the body cultivation battle art after I master some techniques I already have” thought John before he fell asleep.

John woke up early the next morning and started cultivating once again. A few hours later, his stomach began to rumble in protest.

“It looks like I missed breakfast. I have to visit the nearest restaurant,” John thought as he woke up and left the inn. John walked for a while before looking at the two-story restaurant. He walked in and sat down at the table.

“What will you eat today, Sir?” ask the waiter. John looked at the menu for a while before deciding on their specialties for the day; meat pie. After ordering his meal, John gazed out a nearby window, thinking about what to do next on his way.

His ears immediately raised when he heard the conversation between the two men sitting at the table beside him.

“So, did you see a new post today? It seemed like someone needed some guards for escort through the Skycleave Forest. Should we accept it?” said one person enthusiastically.

“What are the requirements?” ask the others.

“Middle Mist Creation is a posted requirement, but I am sure they will allow us to join even though we are in the realm of early Mist Creation,” replied the first man.

“Sorry, what business post are you talking about this?”

The two men looked at the person who had just spoken, and noticed that it was a teenage boy. They would ignore him until they realized his cultivation level.

“Early Fog Creation at his age? He must be an important person” thought the first person before answering.

“There is a notice board in the city center that allows anyone to put up a job. People often look for cultivators for various reasons, and this is a great way to make money if you have the strength needed.”

“Oh, thanks for the information” replied John with a smile on his face.

“Work that requires a cultivator huh? Maybe I can find something interesting to do” thought John. After finishing his meal, John once again thanked the men for the information before leaving for where the job board was located. He arrived fifteen minutes later, and saw many people gathered around him.

John broke through the crowd and finally arrived in front of the board. Many people who were removed were about to curse John for his actions, but they interrupted immediately as soon as they saw the badge on his robe.

“Let's see what we have here .. Home guard .... No. Protect the ranch from Body Refinement level monsters? No. Ah, this is it. Guard mission to nearby Rayel Kingdom; Cultivation requirement is Middle Fog Creation . ”

John recorded the time and place of assembly for the job before leaving the area.

“His notice says to meet in two days .. It's still some time away. I have to find a place to practice Myriad Annihilation Scythe for a while.”

John decides to leave the city limits of the Dreadel Kingdom and head to the nearby forest, as his attack will most likely cause damage. John arrives in the woods an hour later before he settles down somewhere.

“This place can be used. No damage and far enough.”

John took out his scythe, with the weight of the scythe causing his arm to drop slightly.

“Even now this is still quite heavy. Even though I can control it and use it properly, I will run out of strength quite quickly fighting with a weapon this heavy. I have to use my greatsword for a normal fight and just bring this weapon out a desperate situation. ”

John took a wide and firm position and focused his mind. After studying this technique extensively the night before, John was quite familiar with the basics behind the technique. Now he has to apply those basics. ”

John sends waves of Qi from his dantian through the meridian pathway described in the technique. His Qi surged out from his body and towards his scythe where he swung it with all his might.

“Pft!”

A small and pitiful voice echoed from the scythe as nothing happened. A frustrated expression appeared on John's face.

“This technique requires me to send my Qi through three different meridian paths, which arrive at the weapon in a certain order. Each wave of Qi strengthened and superimposed on each other which resulted in a powerful attack. I must have messed up time somewhere. ”

John took up the position again and tried to run the technique again but again to no avail. The day soon turned into night as John was still focused on learning the technique. After training late into the night, John set up camp and went to bed.

Waking up early the next morning, John once again began practicing the Myriad Annihilation Scythe. Finally, after hours of failure.

The explosion!

A wave of sickle Qi was sent and a few trees thirty meters in front of John were sliced clean in half, falling to the ground violently.

“Success” shouted John, his face full of likes and tired.
