CHAPTER 126: 126

Chapter 126: 126

John's eyebrows shot up slightly hearing the man's words. Although he knew the Holy Land was impressive based on his father's description, this was still far beyond what he could imagine.

‘Tens of thousands of juniors my age in the Qi Condensation Realm! And it was only the bare minimum required to join the sect. Back home, the five peak powers had only managed to have ten junior Qi Condensation in Qi Condensation, and most of them were sixteen, but here they appeared in the thousands. How amazing is this place?’

John was surprised by this revelation, but when he thought of the Qi density of this land, it started to make sense. Cultivating here would be much faster than cultivating at home.

“If you are really thinking of joining a sect in this country, you should think of another sect. Under the four great sects were sixteen first-rate sects, and below them were one hundred and twenty-eight second-rate sects. There were even countless third and fourth level sects. I'm sure one of them would be a better fit for you.”

John listened to the man's words carefully, doing his best to learn as much as possible about the country.

“First Level? Second Level? What's the level?” ask Johan curiously.

“To put it simply, they are the strength level of the elders and juniors of the sect. The four great sects were stronger than the first-rate sects, which were stronger than the second, and so on. The stronger the sect, the stronger the sect.the more difficult its requirements are to join.”

The man paused for a moment before continuing.

“As you can see, there are thousands of sects in the country. One of them would suit you.”

John continued to listen to the man's words closely, and had formed a hierarchy of brute strength for the Holy Land of the Yuan Continent.

“How big is this land, so it can accommodate thousands of sects? Did each sect only occupy a small piece of land?” John asked. If thousands of sects were suitable in his homeland, each sect would only control a small amount of land.

“The Yuan Continent is about a hundred thousand miles wide, and the shape is relatively circular, that's the name. The four great sects were located in the middle of the ground, equidistant around the whirlpool Qi. This is where the Qi density is highest. The first level sect occupies the next set of land, and so on until you reach the shore, where the Qi density is the least.”

The man thought for a moment before adding any other clarifying information.

“In addition to sects, there are many clans, kingdoms, and self-sufficient cities occupying lands throughout the continent, and they also have varying power structures. But many of them are as strong as first-rate sects, so you can ‘ don't underestimate one of them.”

‘So much power! Should I try to join one? No, I must join the Heavenly Lightning Sect. It is very suitable for my cultivation, and the stronger the power I combine, the greater my chance of going home.’

After making up his mind about which power he should try to combine, John spoke to the man once again.

“I may be on the low side of the cultivation spectrum, but I can guarantee that I am one of the most promising juniors you will find,” replied John firmly.

An amused expression appeared on the man's face. “Is that? Then tell me, how do you stand above those who have higher cultivation than you?”

“Well, for starters, I have a lightning attribute body,” replied John bluntly.

“Don't joke boy. Body attributes, especially body attribute lightning did not appear inevitably. If you have a lightning attribute body, then show it.” A satisfied expression hung on the man's face, indicating that he did not believe John in the slightest.

John frowned but was not affected. He must enter the sect. Getting information and help from a sect would be much better than trying to do it yourself.

“Unfortunately, I don't know the art of lightning fighting yet. If you don't believe me, test me. You're from the sect right? So you should be able to use lightning-based attacks. Attack me with lightning that will usually overwhelm junior Qi Condensation early.”

“Are you crazy?” The man was completely caught off guard constantly by John's actions. He meticulously examined John's expression, and saw no signs of falsehood.

“Alright, but if you get hurt or die, don't complain to me.”

The man hesitated a bit to do so, but the boy in front of him asked for it. He only blames himself if something goes wrong.

The man stretched out his hand, and an extremely powerful lightning started to crackle and flow in his palm and between his fingers. Only a hint of lightning felt as if it could crush mountains and tear the sect to the ground.

John gazed in admiration at the lightning, and his desire to obtain such power was increasing.

‘I have to join this sect!’

The power of the lightning began to diminish, to a degree that no longer gave John a feeling of mortal danger.

“This is the amount of lightning that would overwhelm a normal initial Qi Condensation junior. Are you sure you want to get through this?” the man asked.

“Ya, please,” replied John bluntly.

The man was surprised by John's response. He had thought John would see the power of the lightning and retreat in fear, but he remained unaffected.

“Either you really have a lightning attribute body, or you are completely insane. Let's find out.”

The lightning that danced over the man's hand suddenly shot out, piercing straight into John's shoulder.
