CHAPTER 52: 52

Chapter 52: 52

From what his father revealed to him, John knew that the relationship between the Crimson Valley Sect and the Fenix Clan was bad. In fact, it is better to describe them as enemies. John wasn't sure what happened in the past that caused such hostility, but it didn't matter to him now. John also wore the Fenix Clan robe, easily identifying him as a member of the clan.

Although John was not afraid of the boys approaching him, he also did not want to cause trouble for his clan.

John decides to ignore the boys and walks past them.

When a group of boys approach John, the belated Mist Creation boys notice John's robe.

“Oh, what we have here. A Fenix Clan kid who went missing alone?”

The other boys in the group looked at John, at that moment they all had smiles on their faces.

“Sialan” thought of John as he stopped walking and looked directly at the group. The group consisted of five boys his age, and John's heavenly feelings told him that they were four middle Fog Creations and one late Mist Creation realm cultivator.

The late Mist Creation boy jumped off his beast and started walking towards John. Another boy follows and John soon finds him face to face with the five of them. John looked at the five of them indifferently.

“What do you want?” john asked in a nonchalant tone.

“Is that the way to greet someone?” ask the oldest boy.

“Looks like he didn't put an older brother in his eyes at all,” replied one of the boys.

John stared coldly at the group but said nothing. He once again tried to walk around the group, but the oldest boy once again moved in front of John to block his path. The boy looked at John with a slanted smile.

“You know, my mood is good today. Prostrate before me and apologize for your rude behavior, and I'll let you go.”

The other boys began to chuckle, waiting for the show to open before them.

John narrowed his eyes at the boy,

“Let me pass” John said in a gloomy voice. Although he could easily use his movement technique to avoid this boy, he did not feel there was any reason to do so. He didn't want to cause trouble for his clan, but he wouldn't bow his head to these boys either.

The Crimson Valley Sect boy started laughing and turned to his friends.

“What should we do with this Fenix boy? Looks like we need to teach him some manners.”

“That's right, he has no respect at all. We must teach him to replace his parents.”

Bang out!

A loud voice rang out as the Crimson Valley Sect brat was sent flying tens of meters, saggy teeth and blood flowing behind him. The boy fell several times before finally stopping unconscious. The other boy looked at John with great surprise at what had just happened.

John was actually willing to endure this little boy's ridicule, but once they mentioned his parents, John could not hold it in anymore. His anger flared up and he instinctively reached out and slapped the boy with full force.

John looked at the boy, surprised at how much damage he had just caused with a single slap. Although the boy was unprepared and lacked enhanced defense, he was still a late Mist Creation realm cultivator, but he was sent flying with a single slap and fainted as well. He had underestimated John and had not used any Qi or technique to block his attack. With the weaker body of the essence cultivators, the full force slap from John was more than enough to render them unconscious if they did not attempt to block it.

Experienced cultivators always had a thin layer of Qi wrapped around their bodies to protect themselves in case of a sudden attack. This layer would consume the same amount of Qi that was replenished naturally by the cultivator's dantian, thus not resulting in any additional burden on the cultivator. If the boy passively used this technique, John's slap would be painful but not knock him unconscious. Unfortunately for the boy, he enjoyed a life of trampling on others due to the strength of his sect and was rarely disrespected let alone beaten, so he was not prepared for John's shocking slap.

“b*j*ng*n, off!” A group of boys finally come to their senses and attack John.

John looked towards the group of boys and sneered. This group only consisted of middle Mist Creation realm cultivators,

“Although they attacked me, I still cannot kill them. But I will leave them a gift that they will all remember” thought John while taking out his great sword and attacking a group of boys.

A few minutes later, John stared at the unconscious boy's mass at his feet. Using his powers alone, John can easily subdue the group and take them down. John dragged all the boys to the side of the road.

A few minutes later, John smiled and nodded his head proudly as he stared at his work.

“They should all wake up in an hour. I'm sure they'll enjoy my gift to them” John looked over for the last time before heading out onto the road once more.

A rumor soon surfaced after a group of Crimson Valley Sect boys were each tied to a tree, stark naked. The news spread like wildfire, although John was unaware of the storm that had resulted from his actions and the damage to the illustrious prestige of the Crimson Valley Sect.

….

John spent a month traveling on the road to the Fenix Clan. He occasionally stopped at a town located on the street and stayed for the night, before once again proceeding towards his clan.

A familiar sight finally appeared in John's sight, and John paused for a moment to enjoy the majestic sight. A huge wall would be seen stretching for miles in each direction, with the Skycleave Mountains in the distance behind it. Behind the walls, magnificent buildings, bustling streets, and towering waterfalls are seen lying along the mountain slopes.

“I finally go home”

After almost half a year, John finally returned to the Fenix Clan.
