Chapter 57: 57
“True,” Reply Barden.
“Miko finished third in the tournament, only losing to Jason in the semifinals.”
“What? Miko is a Qi Condensation cultivator now? He's only eleven” spray John. Although he was very surprised, he was also very happy. She considers Miko to be one of her best friends, and is thrilled at the good news about her.
“Mhm, he managed to break through to the beginning of Qi Condensation the day before the tournament. The fact that he put it that high despite only breaking through the day before showed just how much he was a monster. He might have won the tournament if it wasn't for Jason. The soul of the variant was truly terrifying. He would become an absolute monster once he grew up. “
Barden thought back to Miko's fight and shook his head. “If only he was a member of the Fenix Clan, wouldn't that be great? But it looks like John will be just as terrible, so not too bad” thought Barden.
John sat there stunned and could hardly believe his ears.
‘It looks like Miko hasn't been lazy either. In fact, he left me in his ashes. ‘
Hearing that Parker and Miko have reached Qi condensation, and have been placed very well in the tournament, light a fire under John. His motivation to cultivate and become stronger was already very high, but this news once again inspired him to strive harder to become stronger.
“The Crimson Valley Sect seems to be making some moves in the shadows. It looks like they are planning to do something big,” Barden said with a serious expression on his face.
“Crimson Valley Sect? What can they plan?” ask John curiously.
“We're not completely sure yet, but they're definitely up to something. No problem, our clan is even stronger than the Crimson Valley Sect, and we have the Varis Clan as close allies. Whatever the Crimson Valley Sect tries, we will stop it with pure force. ”
John thought about his involvement with the Crimson Valley Sect boys earlier, and decided to tell his father about it. He even told her about tying them all up naked trees.
Barden couldn't help but laugh when he heard John tell his story.
“Hahaha, is that you? I had heard some rumors yesterday about it, but I never thought it was you. Nice, nice. You should not be afraid and never bow your head to anyone, especially those from the Crimson Valley Sect. You did a good job. ”
John laughed with his father as he told the story. They continued chatting for several hours before Barden finally stood up and stretched his legs under the setting sun light.
“It's late, let's go in first. Tomorrow, I'll set off and try to give you the body” battle art
“Thank you dad.”
John stood up and followed his father into the mansion. After chatting with his father and mother for hours, John went to bed and fell into his bed.
“There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.”
John fell asleep as soon as his head hit his pillow.
The next morning, John followed his normal routine and cleaned himself up before putting on a new robe from his wardrobe. He walked downstairs to breakfast with his family, but was shocked to learn that his father had left the clan in search of the powerful body fighting art.
John finished his breakfast with his mother before walking out the front door.
John decided to relax in the morning and just take a walk around the clan. He first visited the Beast Trade Hall and traded the corpses of all the beasts he had killed, and obtained quite a bit of gold by doing so. After that, John decided to take a walk without thinking about a particular mission.
A few hours later…
“John!”
John heard his name called and quickly turned around. A smile appeared on his face as he looked at who was approaching.
“Ryan! Long time no see!”
“Old didn't meet my ass. I heard you came back yesterday but you still haven't come to see me. I guess you don't even think of me as a friend.” Ryan pouted as he looked towards John with a playful sad expression on his face.
“Alright, no need to behave like this. I was busy yesterday, but you know I think of you as one of my best friends so stop pouting. How are you?” John rolled his eyes at Ryan's behavior.
“I'm fine. I've advanced to the Fog Creation Realm recently. What nature do you have?” ryan asked with a curious expression. He could use his heavenly sense to scan John and see his cultivation level, but it was usually considered rude to scan others without asking. Only family and enemies would do so without hesitation.
John thought about it for a moment.
‘What should I say? I guess I should say Creation of the Middle Fog, because no one can see my body Dantian. ‘
“I am in the middle of Mist Creation Realm” replied John with a smile on his face.
“Very fast?” Ryan was flabbergasted at John's cultivation speed. Ryan took two years to go from starting to cultivate to the Middle Fog Creation, but John had done so in six months.
“I guess you're a cultivation enthusiast. Looks like we have two geniuses in our clan now. Hopefully you'll drop Parker off the base soon” laughs Ryan.
“Haha, it still took a long time before I could think of chasing Parker,” John replied with a confident smile.
“Are you going to participate in a pocket realm tournament? I heard from my father that it will be quite difficult to follow this time because of the limited number of entries.” Ryan was so distressed to hear that only the top thirty children would come forward. He was sure to make the top hundred of original quality, but the top thirty would be a difficult task to accomplish.
“Yes, not only that, but I plan to win it” John confidently replied Ryan.
“Haha, as it were. You may be a genius, but you are only in the middle of the Fog Creation Realm. Unfortunately, nature opens up so quickly. If you wait another half a year, I'm sure you will be strong enough to do so given your cultivation speed. “
“Don't believe me huh? How about we go to the training ground so I can show you how I'm going to win” John replied with a confident smile.
Ryan looked at John as if he was crazy but still agreed.
“Haha, alright, I accept. Show me how you're going to win the tournament.” Ryan laughed at John's trust and accepted it straight away. He wondered why John was so confident. After knowing John all his life, he knew that John was not someone who spoke empty words.
