Dylan turned his body quickly to see John standing right behind him. John's eyes were like the eyes of a battle demon, shocking Dylan to the point and freezing him for a moment. Dylan quickly snapped out of a daze, but was horrified to see John's sickle blade already behind his body.

Dylan's horrified scream was cut short as John pulled his scythe violently back into his body, splitting Dylan in half. His eyes opened wide in horror and disbelief before life quickly faded from him. His body suddenly disappeared from view.

“You should have accepted your defeat in the tournament and advanced, you just blamed yourself!” John muttered before turning towards the trees.

Five-Step Movement Technique: Step Five!

After opening a hole in the group cage, John utilized the fifth step of the movement technique to run towards the trees as quickly as possible. Being an escape technique and not an actual battle movement technique, the fifth step was extremely fast, and before the others could react, John almost reached the tree line.

“Catch him!”

Jason shouted as he followed along with all his might. John's sudden attack and extremely quick movements even shocked him, and he was unable to help the two sect members before they died. He had allowed John to kill Dylan, and if he escaped any more than that, he knew he would be severely punished by his sect.

John was just about to enter the trees when an extremely powerful Qi attack flew straight towards him from within the forest. Having not expected it, and already using the fifth step, John was unable to dodge the attack and could only block it directly.

John managed to fend off the attack, but felt his arm creak due to the force of the attack as he was flung backwards for nearly a hundred yards. He quickly stabilized himself, but was disappointed to find himself once again surrounded by the three Qi Condensation boys.
