The Myriad Annihilation Scythe!

Myriad Annihilation Scythe, Second Attack!

John attacks with the first two stages of the Myriad Annihilation sickle in an attempt to weaken the attack. The technique collided, and John was disappointed to see that even though the Myriad Annihilation Scythe dimmed the oncoming attack slightly, it still came towards him with overwhelming force.

John focused once again on sending out body Qi explosively to every inch of his body to reach his strongest state.

‘I think I should use the Supreme Battle Art to deal with this attack. I don't want to use it, but I don't have a choice. I will use it in the last moments, and hopefully no one will notice it. ‘

The Ryans attack reaches John, and John attacks with his scythe to confront the attack. His arm muscles swelled up, and his veins could be seen coming out under his skin as he attacked with full force. Shortly before Ryan's attack reached him, John explosively used the Supreme Battle Art to increase his body strength to the limit.

Both Jason and Dylan immediately squinted and looked at John, unsure of what they felt from John for a moment.

Booooms!

A huge explosion of Qi emanated out as a figure was seen flying backwards like a bullet. John toppled over several times before finally managing to swing his scythe down with full force and buried his sword into the stone arena below while his blood flowed within him and his bones creaked in pain due to the force of the attack that's. He desperately held onto the sickle stem, while his arm muscles bulged due to the strength needed to hold his scythe.

The stone arena controversially exploded outwards as John used his buried scythe sword in an attempt to slow his momentum. After what felt like an eternity to him, John finally managed to stop. His arms were still trembling due to the attack power he received, and blood was slightly flowing from his mouth as he received some damage while receiving the attack head-on. He breathed a sigh of exhaustion and looked back.

Just inches behind him, John sees the arena over and falls to the ground below. John felt himself beginning to sweat at how close he would lose this fight if he were to be thrown off the stage.

‘Even with my strong body, I don't think I can take the attack directly without half dying.’

After a second of calming down, John put away his scythe and turned to look at Ryan. Ryan was panting, and looked like a candle flickering in the wind.

Ryan begins to faint, but before he hits the ground, John reaches him and manages to keep him upright.

“That's an incredible attack.” John had no other way of describing it. It was the most powerful attack he had ever received in his life, and if he did not possess the Eternal Asura Body and Supreme Combat Art, it was, John will never have the confidence to accept it the way he has.

“Ha, thank you. But in the end, it was still not enough. I concede” Ryan feels proud of the attack, but remains disappointed to lose.

The crowd had been shocked into silence by John's incredible attack and impressive defense, but it soon exploded into a ruckus over Ryan's concession.

“What attack is it? How can it be that strong?”

“I think it's one of the War Witch attacks, but I've never seen it in person before.”

“But it was really amazing. I didn't know a Fog Creation cultivator could attack with that much power.”

“I know, right? The boy who received the attack was also incredible. His Innate Variant Body had already shown how beneficial it was. Otherwise, I doubt he will be able to accept the attack without losing.”

Many similar discussions took place throughout the crowd as John and Ryan jumped off the arena and walked towards their seats.

“It..very... .awesome!” Miko Varis approached them and shouted enthusiastically. He soon begins to bombard them with questions, mostly questions for Ryan and what his attacks are.

“It was a channeled Qi attack, which was slightly different from a normal Qi attack.” Ryan did not want to explain in detail because he was still quite tired, so he gave a brief explanation to Miko to satisfy her curiosity.

John and Ryan sat down and focused on recovering their strength while they watched the remaining fight unfold. Joy, Dalton, and Dylan won unsurprisingly, while Ella Varis also managed to win her battle and move on to the top eight contenders.

After finishing all the fights, Waylon Varis announced a new fight. Since there were only eight competitors left and only four fights, the fight was announced verbally rather than posted on the board.

“The first fight was Dalton vs Adam. Second fight, Joy vs Steven. Third fight, Dylan vs. Grant. And the fourth and final fight, John vs. Ella.”

John scratched his head in frustration upon hearing the couple. “First I had to fight you, and now I have to fight Ella. Why does it seem like I'm destined to eliminate all my friends. Just put me up against Dylan so I can kick his ass.”

Ryan nodded in agreement, while Miko did not know how to proceed with the situation. “Do I support you, or do I support my sister? Ahhhh, I don't know what to do. It's very frustrating.” Miko wanted both of them to win, but that was definitely impossible.

John and his friends continued to sit in the stands as the first fight began. It was between Dalton of the Flowing River Sect, and Adam of the Varis Clan. The battle was truly impressive, and Dalton managed to defeat Adam and win. In the second battle, Joy Ronan managed to defeat Steven of the Crimson Valley Sect and won, which led to the third fight between Dylan of the Crimson Valley Sect, and Grant Fenix of the Fenix Clan.
