The Asura Immortal Asuras
CHAPTER 129: 129

Chapter 129: 129

John happily followed Elder Ragur out of the way they entered. He had achieved his first goal of entering the sect. Although unofficial, John is not worried about not being able to pass the entrance exam in three months. In the meantime, she can start building connections and gathering information on how to get home.

After leaving the grand palace, Elder and John walked back to the drake, who was still patiently waiting in the large courtyard. Elder Ragur said a few words to the drake, and he flew into the sky without them. Its powerful wings created a gust of strong wind that billowed the robes of everyone nearby.

“The Enforcement Hall field is not too far from here. We will walk, and I will show you some of what this sect has to offer,” Elder Ragur said to John as he started walking forward.

John nodded in agreement and quickly followed behind. Many curious gazes looked at John, who had never seen him before. John and the Elder needed some time to get out of the large courtyard, where the Elder led John down a path that seemed to be one of the sect's main roads.

The road was nearly fifty meters wide. Thousands of cultivators walked in all directions, and powerful ferocious beasts, a strength that was almost similar to drakes were also present, acting as chariot mules or powerful mounts.

Large buildings lined both sides of the street, and most of them featured distinctive white, gold and blue color schemes that the sect seemed to favor. Each building showcased a large design on its exterior and interior, and John was fascinated by the level of workmanship, which was much higher than at home.

The buildings encompassed a wide variety of businesses and destinations, from trade halls, drugstores, libraries, weapons halls, martial halls, trial halls, and more. Every building is crowded with activity.

The strong cultivator passed through John constantly, and he finally felt the weight of joining such a sect.

‘I'm probably the weakest person here, in terms of cultivation. However, with the Qi density of this place, I am confident that I will be able to catch up in no time.’

John was not disappointed by his weak cultivation. He possessed the Eternal Asura Body, which seemed to be limited only by his ability to obtain human blood essence of a sufficiently high quality. The main barrier to his cultivation was his essence cultivation, which held back his Asura Abadi Body.

However, Celestial Soulrend had given him the Primordial Annihilation Lightning cultivation technique.

‘Although I have yet to cultivate the Primordial Lightning Annihilation cultivation technique, I believe it is amazing. My essence cultivation should start to surge rapidly, and all I need to focus on is getting more human blood essence .. but I must have enough to reach the Qi.’ Condensation Realm

John's Immortal Asura Body Dantian was already at the peak of Fog Creation, and he had obtained the bodies of Dylan and the other Crimson Valley Sect brats. The two were also at the peak of Fog Creation, and John was confident that this blood would allow him to advance once more.

His eyes lit up as he thought about what it meant to advance a large realm.

“The last time I advanced to the main realm, the palace realm gave me a drop of blood, which enhanced my Eternal Asura Body. Since there are more droplets, I'm sure the others will be given when I progress to Qi. Natural Condensation. Also, I haven't had time to figure out what, or who, is inside the sacred gate. But I need to ask him a few questions soon.’

A saint entity had appeared when Celestial Soulrend tried to read his memories. John was convinced that the entity's projected aura was identical to the holy gate, and thought that it was behind him.

‘If in fact there is something as deep as that sacred entity. within the sacred gate.what does that mean for the evil gate..’.

He shuddered at the thought of that. The evil gate projected an aura that was almost as strong and as deep as the holy gate, but completely evil. Thinking of something that was actually inside the gate gave John goosebumps.

‘I think I'll find out when I get stronger.’

John awakens from his mind and begins to listen to Elder Ragur, who explains the various buildings and their purpose as they pass by. The two of them walked nearly ten miles, while passing through the majestic buildings along the way.

‘And this is only one of the sect's main roads, not to mention the other main roads and hundreds of small roads. This place is huge!’

Even though he had seen a huge sect from the sky, descending to the ground finally gave him perspective on how big it was. Despite walking over ten miles, he only saw a small portion of the sect.

“This path we just passed is one of the main trading centers. Anything you want, from pills, weapons, techniques, clothing, pets, and more can be found here. You can exchange spirit stones with them, or exchange contribution points ,” Elder explained.

“Elder, what is spirit stone.and contribution points,” asked John.

The elder patted his forehead slightly and replied. “Ah, I forgot you're not from here. The spirit stone was a pure Qi crystal. At a certain location, when the Qi in the air was dense enough, it condensed into spirit essence, which was liquid, and finally spirit stone, which was a solid crystal. Spirit stones were used as the main form of currency in the cultivation world. They could be used to cultivate at a higher level, though,

John's eyes sparkled as he mentioned such an incredible thing, but it quickly dimmed.

“I have no spirit stones,” grumbled John sadly, causing Elder Ragur to laugh a little.

John's eyes lit up once more, but were quickly dimmed once more by the words of the following Elder.

“Unfortunately, you are only a worker, and not an official disciple of the sect, so you can only be paid with money. Only after you become an official student can you start earning contribution points.”

He continued to follow the Elder as they walked towards the Enforcement Hall. Elder Ragur began to explain things, such as the ranks of disciples.

“There are various levels of pupils. The lowest rank was the outer disciple, then the inner disciple, and then the core disciple. Each ascending rank received more benefits, making each disciple crave to advance. This competition brings out the best of everyone, and ensures our sect remains strong. Finally, there was the direct disciple, who was the direct disciple of the strong sect elder. They have the highest status of all students, and enjoy the greatest benefits.”

“Do you have direct disciples?” ask Johan curiously. Given Elder Ragur's strong cultivation, John predicted many would climb over each other to get the chance.

“Haha, I don't. Unfortunately, I am not strong enough to get a direct disciple, according to the sect rules.”

This statement surprised John.

“But..you are at the peak of Meridian Forging. How powerful is an Elder to have a direct disciple?”

Elder Ragur chuckled once more.

“One must be in the Heaven Tribulation Realm, and only then are they considered as Elders with sufficient status to have the right to raise a direct disciple.”

‘Color Tribulation Realm? I had never heard of it, but from its voice, it was right above the Forging Meridian. This place is awesome!’

John suddenly remembered Leah and Elliot.

“Elder, you mentioned that Leah and Elliot are on a mission, so I can't visit them. However, I wonder, what is the status of the two of them in this sect?”

When she meets them, both Leah and Elliot are fourteen years old like her. Despite that, their cultivation was at the middle Qi Condensation Realm, which astonished John.

‘Surely at that age and cultivation, even within the Holy Land, their status must be great.

“Hmm? Let me check.” The elder once again took out the same item he had last time, which was a piece of jade.

‘I think this jade piece records the status and whereabouts of each disciple, but I'm not sure.’

John waited for a moment before the Elder put away the piece of jade.

“According to the student log, the two of them are outer disciples.”
