I knew he was serious since his first confession, so he didn't have to say it twice. Unfortunately, I didn't feel anything hearing him like me. It's different from what I felt with Theo. I can't believe it and hope it's true.

Moreover, my heart was pounding so fast, indicating I also had the same feeling. But Katelia's not her name if I immediately confess my love for her. I want to be better for him. This selfish me is willing to let people rule me as they please.

I don't feel that with Norman. Although he was much better than Theo by his gentle and patient nature to me, only Theo I wanted to be my girlfriend. I am not at all tempted by his position as the principal director and sole heir of the Wiryawan Family. My affection is already for that annoying arrogant young man.

“Thank you very much, Mas.” I waited until we finished eating to respond. “I really appreciate Mas's feelings for me, but I already have a girlfriend. They already know who it is. Our relationship is serious though for everyone I am not the official candidate.”

I smiled at the important thing. “Mas can check her social media accounts to find out who the woman she chose is. Even though I wasn't proposed to on camera, I was Theo's real fiancee. There's definitely a woman for Mas out there, but sorry, she's not me.”

My chest felt very airy after saying that sentence. A heavy burden seemed to be lifted from my shoulders which I carried since his first confession. My affection for Theo increased several times knowing that I was worthy of liking. My physical condition is not a barrier.

We each went home to take our own path. Mas Norman headed for the parking lot, while I walked to the stop. He persuaded me to take me back, but I refused. After I answered no, it was unethical of him to drive me home.

“Oh!”

Arriving at the room, I checked my phone and found that there were a lot of missed calls from Theo. I called him, but he didn't answer. A few times, I finally gave up. Maybe he's busy again.

Leaving for work on Monday, I couldn't find Theo waiting for me in front of the fence. He hasn't been here in a long time either. I found a surprise on my desk. There's a heap of tall files waiting for me to work.

The secretary of the main director is different from the previous secretary, so I'm not familiar with him yet. But I learned that I should not ask questions and only obey my duties. So, I took a deep breath, sat down on the chair, and started checking all the files.

The pile was running out, a young man came to usher in the next pile of maps. I opened my mouth to see it. It wasn't the first one, because two hours later, the same man came back and sent another pile of files.

As a result, I went home two hours longer than usual. On the bright side, I don't need to cross paths with other hotel employees whose work only gossiped about me. Its alright. Time in this place is only two weeks away. Then I can go back to college.

Seeing the car I knew stop in front of the lobby, my heart was pounding happily. The windshield opened, proving my guess. The young man moved his head, signaling for me to get into the car. Of course I did.

“Lo want to eat what?” ask her as soon as I finish putting on my seat belt.

“Fried rice! I'm so hungry,” I replied enthusiastically.

“Who is not hungry has a thin body so?” taunted. I sneered at hearing it.

He didn't hold my hand or embrace my shoulder as we walked from car to restaurant, so I wrapped my hand around his arm. The place was quiet because the dinner hour had passed. So, me and Theo seemed to have a big room just for us.

“Are you still busy with plans to open a new branch abroad?” ask me to open our conversation.

That's all I know about their new project. Theo never mentioned in detail which country. Maybe they deliberately kept it a secret so that their business rivals did not interfere with the smooth running of the big project.

“Iya. Papa invited many outsiders to discuss his plan. I just knew to open a restaurant we had to spend so much money. I hope Papa's plan can be realized or we will lose big,” he replied.

“You guys sure did it. You entertain colleagues so good, there is no way they are not interested in working with you,” entertain me.

His phone shook, he said goodbye to answer the incoming call. Outside of work hours, he was busy. I know a little bit about the project process as big as opening a branch is very time and money consuming. Therefore, Papa was only able to open one hotel branch in Parapat. Precisely the inn was more in demand than those in Medan.

Om Azarya is also very ambitious to open a branch of his restaurant abroad. So, I'm not surprised Theo always works on weekends. The weirdness is only one. Why now? Theo has just graduated, why not wait until he is quite experienced or his master studies are completed?

“Sorry,” he said as he sat back in front of me. “This is the last. They won't call again.” He put his cell phone on the table.

The food came, we were more silent. But I was happy to see him near me. My sense of longing was also satisfied. After tonight how long have we been busy with each other's affairs before I can see him again?

His face looks lethargic, he must be sleep deprived. His shoulders also drooped, was he tired of the piling up work? It's only fitting that we have a hard time communicating and he hasn't come to see me for a long time. The time is definitely up for preparations to open the new branch.

“What's up?” his tanyanya disperse my daydream.

“It's okay.” I smile.

“Come, home.” He stood up, then I followed him immediately.

My premonition was bad when she did not hold hands or embrace my body once I was by her side. If at the time he had done so, it was normal. But twice forget the habit, then this is a coincidence.

I held her hand, trying to act ordinary. He didn't pull my hand away, maybe he was just tired, not not touching me anymore. He was silent on the way to my residence, so I did not ask him to speak either.

“Thank you for tonight,” I said as we got in front of my index.

“What do you not consider me a future husband lo again?” the question, surprised me.

“What do you mean?”

“Gue already said, don't get close to other men.”

“I'm not close to other men, Theo.”

“Do you think I don't know you were ushered home by your boss and tomorrow his mother invited you to lunch together? And last Saturday, you two had lunch together. Lo challenge me?”

“I'm just being polite, Theo. Mas Norman—” I'm trying to explain.

“Mas, mas!” He screamed, surprising me. “Call him sir. She's not your girlfriend!”

“OK. Mr. Norman—” My heart is pounding fast in shock, but I managed to speak calmly.

“Gue don't want to know what you're doing with him. My question, you challenge me? Do you think I am not serious about my words? Don't get close to other men. What's the trouble, anyway? Do you want to show everyone that you are now a rich guy conqueror, so?”

“Theo.” I took a surprised breath.

“Gue understands you met Nolan and Richo, because they are your brothers. Norman, what's the reason you've been with Norman twice, in the absence of anyone else? Huh huh? Mama until you come, she must have proposed to you so her daughter-in-law, ‘kan? Come, answer!”

“Iya! Aunt Wiryawan asked me to be his son's girlfriend. You're right.” I can't stand hearing his accusations anymore.

“Lo's satisfaction now hurts me? Satisfied you make me can not sleep because you think with other men alone? Satisfied you get the blessing of another man's parents as I struggle to persuade my parents? If you really like him, yes, already, you are the same him.”

“Why are you talking so?”

“Because you can't do one simple request of mine. If you can't accept me for who I am, then why are we together?”

“What's the difference between you and me? You also cannot accept me for who I am. I told you, I only think of him as my boss.”

“I'm a guy, so I know what's in a guy's head. But you're right. We both can't accept each other for who they are.” His jaw hardened, making me anxious. “We better break up, so you can freely do as you like lo.”
