Before I could do anything, they surrounded me. Damnit. They must have known my initial strategy, so it was no wonder they limited my wiggle room. No one walks by foot, but uses a vehicle.

Unfortunately, none of them pulled over to help me. It must be because seeing the bodies of these four men had already frightened them. I gulped heavily while thinking hard where to start. Whatever the way, I'm sure I lost.

“What are you doing!? Quick, attack him!” chika was impatient.

What I feared happened, the four of them attacked simultaneously. I chose the one person who was in front of me and ignored the three comrades. Let them hit me, but I can avenge one of them.

I deflected his attack, then pointed my little fist at his face. Bizarrely. There were no punches I felt from the other three men. I turned and saw two men in black who were handling the three men.

Thank goodness! I focused on beating that one guy easily. This is what I love as a result of losing weight. My movements are more flexible, almost like Katelia. Amaryllis's body is still stiff, it takes a lot more exercise to flex its muscles, but it's good progress.

I don't know who they are that helped me. But helpers mean friends. After the man managed to disable me with my flagship weapon, the pepper spray, I approached Chika. I caught him before he could escape.

“Let go of me!” He pulled his hand from my grasp, but he lost strongly.

I pointed the sprayer in his face, and then he was silent. “One more word, I promise I didn't give you an empty threat. Your eyes will feel hot exposed to this liquid.”

His eyes grew bigger and saw that point in his face. Her lips were shaking, a sign that she was still afraid of me. I think he's lost his sanity by forgetting our promise one year ago. I ran out of patience with it.

“We have promised not to disturb each other anymore. Why do you keep coming to disturb me? Are you tired of living?” indict me. He just kept quiet. “Jawab!” I held her face with one hand and the other hand was still holding the sprayer.

“You've been bothering me!” yells. “You already know I'm engaged to Theo, but you keep teasing him!”

“There is something wrong with your brain,” I said cynically. “I was the first to befriend him on campus when you and your two kurcaci were treating me like shit. She defended me that you guys beat up on, and then you said I was flirting with her?

“Indeed, if she is engaged to you, she can't be friends with another girl anymore? Do you treat other students like this? No, ‘kan? Then when he works later, you want to beat up all his female colleagues? His secretary?

“No. You do this only to me. Self-institution, Chik. If Matt doesn't like you, check if it's your fault. Don't blame me. My job is to help him learn, not gossip. You are no one to me anymore. Whoever you marry, I don't care.

“So, get away from my life, or you'll regret it. Rather than you busy beating me up to win Matt's heart, you better meet him and talk to him. I told you, don't copy my old way of life. Only then, your life will be better.”

I removed his face, then took a step back. “This is the last. Don't let me see you come to beat me up again. Because if you are reckless, not only the person you bring, but you will be battered.”

Without waiting for his response, I looked around me. Both men were invisible. Bizarrely. Who're they? I remember Matt calling the guy watching me a girl dressed like a college student. Where did those two men come from?

Chika immediately told her bodyguards lying on the asphalt to get up. Two luxurious cars came closer, they entered it. Even though they can't fight back, I don't lower my awareness. So, I waited until they were far away.

I continued on my way to my place of residence. What a strange day. The interview went well, Chika came to attack me again, and the two men I didn't know who helped me. Will there be another surprise?

Just thinking so, I saw a young man standing in front of the fence. His motorcycle was not far from him. After a semester of not meeting, what is he doing here? There was a very strange urge on my body, but I held back.

I can't just hug her like I did with Brother Jericho. Not caring about this strange feeling I felt, I set my foot firmly on the sidewalk. So, I didn't do anything that only I would regret.

“Stupid basis.” That was the first sentence he said. Really hasn't changed. Still an annoying guy. “Writing phone number alone is wrong.”

Oh. That's what he's talking about. “Thank you for giving me the correct number.”

“Change your clothes, then we eat,” the order.

“I'm tired, so I want to be in the room.” Ignored him.

I close my lips, understanding that I won't be able to fight him. The arrogant human. Irritating dude! Handsome boy! Sof know! But all that I say in my heart. I chose to obey him and came back out after changing clothes. Denying him would only make him knock down the fence and the front door to drag me out.

As I sat behind him, wrapped my hands around his body, and felt as peaceful as he could ride his motorcycle, I realized. I miss him so much and the time with us. We fought more than one word.

Lunch together though more silent than talk, just walk from the parking lot to the lecture hall with him holding my hand, ushered or picked up on his motorcycle, or accompanied while busking in the park. I lost it all when we didn't meet.

But we can't be together. I'm not equal to him. Judging from Aunt Ruth's attempt to separate us, I knew that my guess was correct. Even if Theo wasn't with Chika, they wouldn't let their son be with a poor girl like me.

“Lo want to eat what?” ask her a few moments later. “Do not answer up.”

Hearing that sentence, my own feelings were instantly annihilated. If it wasn't for her being a wealthy man, I'm sure any woman wouldn't stand being betrothed to her. Chika will, yes, because her family is making money. Me? I was forced to go where he wanted to, because he was indisputable.

“Piza or burger. That's just practical. I'm not eating rice or noodles,” I replied.

He ordered the food through the drivethru, then took me to a place I had not expected. We were not sitting in a lobby, a room, or any enclosed space, but he took my hand to the roof of the building.

The place was very large and windy. But what surprised me was the green scenery around me. That's grand. There's a park on the roof of his family's office building. He took me to a nearby gazebo. There was a wooden chair with a padded pedestal and a table. So, we could sit down to eat and enjoy the fresh air as well as the beautiful green scenery.

“This place is beautiful once!” praise me, fascinated by all those very well-preserved looking plants. “I just found out there is a garden on top of this building.”

“If you notice on the internet, there are many articles about this building with its unique garden.” He put my food in front of me. “Eat.”

I followed and ate the food while watching not only the greenery in the garden. I found some flowers that were partially in bloom. I know roses, jasmine, and bougainvillea, while the rest, I can't remember the name.

“Grandmother asked this building to be made a garden. Grandpa agreed, even gave this one roof to plant whatever Grandma wanted.” He looked around us. “At first, this gazebo was built with several plants around it. Then it developed until there was not a single point that Grandma did not use.

“This garden has been awarded several times, both from the city, regional, and environmental organizations. Grandma often also included him in several garden design competitions and became a winner.

“My seat and your seat are the places where Grandpa and Grandma sat together while they were dating. Just the two, without us their children and grandchildren.” She smiles. Something he rarely does.

“It looks like you are so sorry to your grandparents,” guess me.

“Not as much as I love lo,” he said straightforwardly.

My heart was beating a little faster. Did I not hear wrong? He said he loved me? “Do not joke. The word is not a toy.”

“Gue wants us to date again.” He looked at me seriously. “Gue don't like no lo near me. I don't want to eat lunch alone anymore. I'm comfortable if you're beside me, not far apart like this.”

“You already know the terms. I don't want backstreet,” I said, reminding. He won't want to fulfill that, so I'll continue to apply for the same conditions.

“Lo I'll bring home tomorrow. I will tell ortu if I choose you to be my wife,” he said seriously.

I blinked my eyes, not believing in my own hearing. He agreed to the terms I proposed. Did I not hear wrong?

“Can I do something?” tanyanya, disperse my daydreams.

“Ha?” I muttered confused, still believing in disbelief.

He put his hand on my hand, then I lowered my head to look at him. What's he gonna do? “We need a sign so that today we officially make up.”
