“Theo.” I managed to break free, but he cut my lips again.

I don't know how long we've been sitting here with me on his lap and his lap. He didn't even give me a chance to breathe for a moment. But the call for his flight number has already been announced twice.

“This is a punishment for lo who has forced me home.” He came down my neck. “Gue will law lo more than this, if I can report lo close to other men.”

My breath hunts because of the smell. How could he keep breathing calmly without having any difficulty? “A-I don't,” I said with great difficulty.

“Lo lost the bet, so you have to obey all my words. Understand?” said again.

So obnoxious. How can I forget our silly bet on backstreet? I declared love because I didn't want her to misunderstand me. If I remember, I wouldn't have said that first.

“Understanding?” He bit my neck.

“Understanding!” reply upset. Can't he see I'm still trying to catch my breath hunting because of him?

He moved me to sit down to the chair next to him, then stood up. After tidying up his clothes, he extended his hand to me. I received it and we walked towards the passenger gate. The closer to the goal, the more numb my chest became.

“Dear yourself well,” he said, holding your voice remains normal.

I nodded slowly. “Let me as soon as you arrive.”

“Gue loves lo, Kat.” He caressed my cheek. “Gue seriously. Don't get close to other men.”

“I love you too. Watch out, if you are close to other women.” I imitated him.

He kissed my forehead, then walked over without looking back. My heart is beating fast. Our love will begin to be tested again. Just a year back together and I have to be strong to see her come home to be engaged to the woman of her parents' choice.

We both don't know what's going to happen there. Nor can I guess if she'll come back here to be with me again. Everything is uncertain. But our relationship is getting better. We both realized we loved each other, more than love and affection.

Although I regret having lunch at the restaurant with Meghan, I am now grateful. I finally knew what we would be without each other. I'm ready to have this fight-filled relationship with Theo. Whether he comes back or not, I will be faithfully waiting here.

“Daisy,” I said after we got in front of the apartment. “I want you to teach me martial arts.”

Semester three started, I did everything myself. Exercise, eat, and go anywhere without Theo anymore. My bodyguards do their job by trying not to be seen watching me.

I don't know who's cooking, but I'm sure Daisy's the one who's delivering all that food to the kitchen counter. I shop for my own daily necessities. Several times I was tempted to buy groceries and try to cook them myself. But I canceled. I don't want to be the cause of the apartment fire.

The campus is no longer the same. People don't look at me strangely. They are busy with their own business. I walked leisurely towards the lecture hall. Only a few seats were filled. Fortunately, the seat in my favorite location was still empty.

“Again, Meghan!” my Sap saw him coming.

He smiled, then sat down at the usual place, next to me. I frowned at her strange attitude. “Meghan, are you okay?”

“Ah, I-iya,” he replied without looking at me.

I touched his hand which was busy taking out his stationery. He also stopped. “Meghan, do you still feel guilty about the incident at the restaurant?” She's quiet. “Meghan, everyone has their own way of survival. You are innocent.”

“I was wrong, Amarylis. If only the man hadn't been captured, we could have been shot. I will not forgive myself for this coward.” He covered his face with both hands.

“I have a proposal. Do you want to hear?” my many.

He was stunned for a moment, then lowered his hand. “What capsule?”

Mike and Robert kept their distance from me. Nora is just a memory. She liked Theo, but I never saw her trying to get close to my boyfriend. From some of our unintentional encounters, she was being close to a man. Good though.

Meghan accompanied me to the dentist after the discussion, and then we went back to my apartment. I was surprised he had a shopping bag. He didn't take it with him when we were in college. He just smiled, gave me a bag that turned out to contain souvenirs, then followed me to the gym.

We changed clothes in the dressing room, then went out together towards the hall. Daisy is ready for her position. He led our warm-up, then gave a basic move for us to follow. I have been studying alone for a few weeks. Looking at Meghan's condition, I think this will help her be more confident in her abilities.

If on a normal day I am busy with college business and physical training, then on weekends, I am alone. After greeting Mama and Mommy through a video call, I did not have any activities. Reading books, I'm sick of seeing numbers and letters.

Theo advised against texting or calling, except for emergencies. She doesn't want her mom to catch her wet she's talking to me. Very inconvenient. But considering this was my own plan, then I couldn't get angry.

Our fear happened. The engagement went well, but Theo was not able to return. Meghan's already here, and she's still there, doing nothing. Matt didn't discuss anything about it, so I didn't ask. I was very curious.

“What do you do by standing staring at that restaurant?” ask someone from my right side.

I looked and saw a familiar face. “Ah, you!” pekiku knew him so well. “What are you doing here? You're not dead?” I looked around him. “Where is your dog?”

“Young people today. Can't you guys talk politely to the parents?” He slammed his eyes at me.

“You have inconvenienced me and my girlfriend, hitchhiking in our cabin to eat and stay for free, anyone will forget the ethics when meeting you,” I said fiercely.

He's laughing a little. “You guys really won't forgive me, huh?” He's holding my arm. “Come, I'm hungry. Reportedly, the food here is delicious.”

Since I was not alone, I dared to enter that typical Mexican restaurant. I would love to eat their very good burito. I saw the place was not as crowded as usual on the weekend, definitely because of the shooting. Poor owners.

“You were here when the accident happened, ‘kan?” the old man said after the waiter left with our order. I round my eyes. “Don't be surprised so. The news is there every day and your face with your boyfriend is clearly visible on the camera reporters.”

“Ooo-be. So because of that, you know we live here and want to ask for a meal and stay for free?” I looked at him suspiciously.

He's laughing a little. “My turn that bought you today. Order anything you want if you want to add your food.”

“Really?” I just don't believe it.

He's nodding. “You did not deter coming here after that terrible incident, then you must really like this place.”

“Iya. The buritons are very good. Other menus too, but burritos are my favorite,” I am.

“Then, come here anytime you want to eat it.” He placed a card on the table, then shifted it towards me. “In exchange, make an honest review of the food in this restaurant on your social media.”

I took the card and read the name of the restaurant and the sign, and then right in the middle was Antonio Herrera, the Chief Executive Officer, and the number I was sure was a cell phone number. I squinted my eyes at the old man.

“Don't look at me like that. I'm a foster child, so my face is like a North American, while my name is South American. But I'm a native American citizen. I was born and raised here.” He puffed his chest.

“What do you mean? You're Antonio Herrera on this card?” manyu, confirm. He's nodding. “You are the owner of this cool restaurant?” He smiled broadly. “Aren't you poor so you want to die??”
