123|Looking Me

“Ibuku sick. Therefore, I did not concentrate during typing our task,” he admitted.

For the sake of the friendship that was once established between us, I want to fulfill his request. We were standing in the corridor near our lecture hall. I refused to talk in the cafeteria or the park because the lecture was about to start and I didn't want to miss it.

“I've spoken to our lecturer, but he can't change the rules he made himself. I'm really sorry I made you so hard. What can I do for you to get that value?” tanyanya.

I watched his movements carefully. His eyes were teary, his lips were trembling, and his hands were also busy twisting his fingers. He's not pretending. Theo promised everything would be fine, so I'm not worried about the value of it.

“Rules are rules. There's nothing we can do.” I smiled at him. “We forget about that incident. Come on, let's go to the room now.”

After college, I didn't go with him to the cafeteria. I prefer to go to the library. Robert smiled meaningfully as he passed by me. Mike was trying to get my attention. Wonder. Did he never hear the word no, so do this?

When no one else was around, I pulled out my phone and made a video call. The woman replied as the ringing was almost over. Seeing her happy face while greeting me, my heart felt held tight. So hurt.

“Hai, Amaryllis! I'm glad you called me. How are you?”

“Hai, Aunt. Good news. Aunt how are you?” tanyaku.

“Never been this good. I'm cooking pie. If you were here I would give you a big cut.” My stomach was suddenly hungry to hear it. Until it smelled like it was on my nose.

“I won't refuse.” I sighed softly. “Unfortunately, I'm not there.”

He's laughing a little. “What's up? You called me at this hour, didn't you guys go to college?”

“Ng, I need help, Auntie. So, I had a fight with Theo ..” I pretended to ask her for advice about our relationship. That's the only way he can't be suspicious.

If it wasn't for me seeing it for myself, I wouldn't believe it. Nora's mother was fine, but she mentioned the woman was sick as the reason she forgot to put my name on our paper. Fulfilling her invitation was of some use as well, because her mother gave her number to me.

At the time of the group discussion, they greeted me with smiles, including the usually sour Robert. He must be happy to know my own friend set me up. That smile will soon disappear from his face.

“What do you mean, Amaryllis?” asked Nora who was surprised to hear my retreat statement. “Do you still not forgive my mistakes? I promise it won't happen again.”

“No, thank you. I've already lost one grade, so I'm worried about losing it again. You all know I'm here on scholarship. If my academic results this semester fall, I won't be able to continue my studies.” I'm standing. “Please start the discussion. I'm sorry.”

“Amarilis, don't put it this way.” Nora followed me, but I ignored her. “I promise I won't do that again. You don't leave our group.”

Seeing that we were in a quiet place, away from everyone else, I stopped. I looked at him and looked at him seriously. He also stopped and still put on a face.

“Your mother does not hurt.” He rounded his eyes, but immediately covered his surprise by wiping his hair behind his ears. “I know why you did this. You want me not to go to college so you can approach Theo, ‘kan?”

“My mom is sick and she's healed. I am not a sinless person, but I never intend to do evil to you. Mind where it is?” He defended himself.

“No need to pretend, Nora. If you like Theo, approach him. Don't lower yourself by using this way.”

He who was originally acting calm, looked at me sharply. “How can I approach him if you haven't been removed?”

“Nah, so. Show your true nature so I don't throw up.” I smiled with satisfaction. “Happy fight to get rid of me. Good luck to you.”

I made a big mistake getting out of that group, but there was no other way. If I stay with them, it's a lie. Because Nora would still intentionally not put my name on our paper. My studies will be threatened.

Theo did not help at all by getting into the room and forcing me to sleep. It was eleven at night. We had a big fight, but I lost. Sure oes. How can I fight against him who is arrogant?

But as soon as she returned to her room and the atmosphere of the apartment was quiet, I woke up and continued my studies. Just a few more paragraphs, then my paper is done. The idea was in full swing, so I had to type everything in now before it disappeared.

“Do you think the sound of your laptop keyboard will not be heard until my room?” Theo was suddenly by my side so I screamed in fear. He covered my lips with his hand. “Lo can wake one building with scream lo.”

I breathed a sigh of relief, then kept his hand away from my face. “If you don't surprise me, then I won't scream.”

“Lo can no longer be trusted.” He suddenly grabbed my body.

“Theo, put me down! Where do you want to take me?” my protest saw him take me out of the room.

“Lo can be silent, no? It's almost midnight. People can wake up because of the lo,” voice he said with annoyance.

“Let me down just now I'm quiet,” reply.

“No.” He opened the door of his room easily, then laid me on his bed. “Gue don't want your time as my wife, you have liver disease.”

“OK, okay. I'll sleep.” I sat down and intended to get out of bed, but he got in the way. He looked at me so sharply that I gulped heavily.

“Gue no longer believe the same lo. Sleep here,” his orders. I looked at him in disbelief. “Come, lay. Or do you want me to tie it in bed?”

“Since when have you been rude like this?” I protested, but I complied by laying my body down. I don't want to be tied up in bed. Am I a prisoner? Its alright. After he's gone, I can escape to my room.

“Not know I'm rude, but still dear?” He lay by my side.

“What are you doing here?” I tried to get away, but she immediately hugged me.

“Lo think I want to sleep on the floor? Just yummy. The floor is too cold. Already, close your eyes. Sleep.” He put out the nightstand lights and tightened his embrace. “Don't think of anything. I won't hamili lo now.”

“Theo!” My cheeks heated up hearing that phrase.

Because he was silent, I was silent too. I closed my eyes and waited until she fell asleep. Just a few more paragraphs to complete my task. I'll prove to Nora that I can be without her and my evil former groupmate.

Hm …. The pillow is so fragrant. The smell of masculine Theo shampoo. I was really lucky. Got a very handsome, kind, rich, smart girlfriend again. A complete package that many women crave. So, I'm not surprised Clara's relentless pursuit of him and Nora falls in love with him.

The mood is quiet. I opened my eyes and did not feel Theo's warm embrace. No, no, no. What the hell am I thinking? I thought about the warmth of his embrace. I immediately sat down and looked around me. Where the hell is he?

Why am I even thinking about that? He is not there, so I am free to continue the pending work. I opened the door, instead greeted with the delicious aroma of cooking. Theo is cooking what's midnight like?

“Morning,” his broom while showing off his neat teeth.

By morning? I looked towards the window. Still dark. So I looked up at the digital clock on the nightstand beside his bed. At seven in the morning. Oh, naw. I overslept. My job!

(It was Amaryllis. If I'm, overtime, yeah, overtime. No one forced a bob together. #ehh)
