121|New Semester

I cheered when I found out he graduated with perfect grades. We hugged and I ignored my own rules by peeping her lips. Just a kiss, 'cause I don't want to hurt him with my wire.

He invited me to dinner outside and we both wanted Mexican cuisine. I'm so glad he took me to his favorite restaurant that was my favorite too. I didn't say much and let him tell you about the court situation.

The awarding ceremony will be held in March, so his family will come to attend. We were both worried that the month would be our last time together. But I'm sure we'll find a way to meet again if he has to go home.

“Why is he a bunch again with us? You guys,” complained Nora saw Robert still with us during the group discussion.

“You said yourself, his attitude will not affect our academic values. Just ignore.”

I was satisfied with my academic results in the first semester. Although I was still anxious, I was very excited to attend college in the second semester. Robert or anyone else will not be able to dissuade me from graduating with good grades.

“Do you have any plans for Valentin Day? There are many restaurants that give discounts to couples, lo. You can date with Theo.”

If only he knew. Theo and I dated a lot during Christmas and New Year. I've had enough of a walk with him. After all, Theo was busy with his restaurant because of that big day. They also offer a special Valentines Day menu to their customers.

Lecturers don't playfully give assignments this even semester, so I have to study harder. Fortunately, I read Theo's handbook during the holidays, so I wasn't completely blind to our new material.

“You guys are stupid or what? That's not the conclusion.” Robert was still forcing his opinion so we were stuck on campus, unable to go home.

“Rob, we're one team. You can't force only your opinion to be heard. We're six here. All opinions have been accommodated and agreed this is the final conclusion,” said Nora.

“This is not a shared final conclusion, but a sentence that Amaryllis suggests.” He glanced at me.

“If you can make a better sentence, just say it. We listened,” said another friend. The man complied by saying a sentence that was not much different from me.

Nora typed the task, so we entrusted the contents to her, so we could go home. I glanced at the watch. It's eight o'clock. Theo must have waited a long time in the apartment. I rode my bike quickly to my house.

The apartment was still dark when I arrived. Is Theo still at the restaurant? I took a shower and changed my clothes and sent him a message. He didn't reply either, so I checked the contents of the refrigerator and was relieved to see there were still pizza that could be heated.

In the morning, I woke up in bed. As I recall, I was last on the front room couch. Considering having to exercise, I changed clothes and left the room. The delicious aroma of cooking greeted me. I saw Theo cooking eggs at the kitchen counter.

“Again,” sweep.

“Pagi.” I yawned wide. “Ah, forgive me.”

“Sorry, last night there was a problem at the restaurant. I can't call or text.” He placed a plate of scrambled eggs on the table. There is other food available.

“What is this? Why do you cook so fast?”

“Gue should go to the restaurant earlier than usual. Lo jogging by yourself, yes.” He kissed my forehead, then walked towards his room.

Well, what's the big deal until he has to leave so early? Since he invited me to sport, I did not take him away. The snow is no longer coming down, so I don't have to worry about the road being slippery by the water. The air was also not as cold as before, although I still needed to wear layered clothes.

Today's lecture topic is very interesting, the lecturers are also fun, so our meeting in the lecture room was very exciting. At the time of the group discussion nothing strange happened. Robert did not act as obnoxious as usual which made us suspicious.

“Eat, yuk. I paid,” took Mike at the end of our discussion.

Everyone exchanged looks. They agreed, only I refused. They asked me to come with them. I still refuse. I'd rather eat with Theo than anyone else.

My guess is correct. Theo has gone home and prepared our dinner. I rushed into the room to clean up, then joined her. I knew he couldn't share secrets about work, so I chose a safe topic for us to discuss.

He called the date of his family's arrival to attend his graduation ceremony later. He'll stay with them at the hotel, so I'll be alone. Not entirely alone, because I knew there were bodyguards watching me.

Just like when he was graduating, I could only see him from afar when the ceremony was later. We are still backstreet. We are in a secret relationship. Only certain people know and they can keep their mouths shut.

“Amarilis, meet me in the room at lunchtime,” said the lecturer at the end of the lecture.

“Iya, Prof,” I replied politely.

Nora's approaching soon. We exchanged looks. I just shrugged, not knowing what caused me to be asked to come into his room. We have gathered the task. After all, the other friends must have been called as well if this had anything to do with our duty.

I went to the lecturer's room at the appointed hour. The man looked at me, then signaled for me to enter with a movement of his hand. I said, then sat down on the chair she pointed at. The question confused me.

“Sorry, Prof. I have done work with my friends and it has been collected,” I replied. “If not, they must be here too.”

“What is the name of your group one friend?” tanyakanya. I mentioned Nora's full name.

“Oke.” He picked up a stack of papers and checked the front of the task. “No your name.” He gave me the file.

I accepted it and read the names of Nora, Robert, Mike, and our other two friends on the paper, but there was no name. I opened the last page, my name wasn't there either. What the hell's going on?

“I've asked Nora to check the names of all the members already on the task. He answered already, so I'm sure there's no mistake. Everyone has gathered their duties, except your own. Because it has been past one week, then you do not get a.” value

My heart almost stopped beating hearing it. I don't get any grades from this assignment? That's not fair. I really did it with my group mates. Did Nora do this on purpose? He was so good to me, could he possibly do this?

“You definitely didn't expect your good friend would do that to you,” Robert said as I exited the lecturer's room. He was leaning against the wall near the entrance.

Having nothing to do with him, I chose to ignore him and left. I need to talk to Nora. He must be in the study room or the library. I was just looking for his white bike to know where he was.

“I know your secret ...,” she instead followed me and walked by my side, “Kat.”

I stopped my steps, then turned towards him. He smiled with satisfaction because he caught my attention. How did he know about that? How did she know I was Katelia?
