207|Continuing Tradition

“Prenuptial agreement. I should have prepared this before our wedding in Las Vegas, but I was in a hurry. Read carefully before signing. This letter is for the good of both of us,” he said, trying to explain.

“Honey, I understand.” I held her hand. “I know we have to do this. Mother has told me everything. My parents had a similar agreement. I'm sure your parents are too. I read first, yes.”

He sighed in relief, then nodded. Just-there's. Why am I offended? I was born into a family that married off their children for the benefit of both parties. I knew we would continue that tradition.

The first point that becomes the main thing is about the inheritance of the Husada Family. I can't touch it and it will be passed down to our first boy. If something bad happened, I'd make a lot of money multiplied by the number of years we've been together. The custody of the children fell into Theo's hands.

The other thing is not a problem for me, because he allows me to work or do whatever I think is good. We will take care of the children together, no one party can be a greater portion of the other in terms of responsibility.

The other points are numerous and detailed. I didn't think he would be this good to me. I think there will be a point where I have to obey all his words, without protest. It turned out that the whole point was very fair and for the good of our little family.

I put my autographs on the three files and returned them to him. He had already signed his signature, so it was legalized by his attorney. He stretched out his hand, so I accepted it. We shook hands just before she pulled me and kissed my lips hungry.

The atmosphere of the house that afternoon was very chaotic. Everyone is talking at the same time. Suddenly I lost one of her shoes. Papa doesn't know where to keep his tie. Until Nolan panicked to find his watch. I nodded slowly to see him.

Fortunately, everything can be above the mothers and servants well. Theo had already left for the location first, so we shouldn't be late either. Papa and Dad did not need to scramble, as I was happily willing to be ushered to the altar by the two.

“I didn't expect this day to arrive too,” said Dad softly. “I drove my daughter on her wedding day. I thought I'd never do this.”

I felt my eyes heat up. “Dad, don't make me cry.”

“You are sure of your choice? You can still legally separate, but after from this place .…” Dad looked at me seriously.

“Even legally, I will not leave him, Father,” I said without a doubt.

Dad and Dad exchanged looks. “Good. Even if you are already his wife, our duties as your father will not change. If he hurts you, just a little bit, you have to tell us,” Papa said seriously. “We will take care of you.”

“Iya, Pa,” I said moved. “Are we going to keep talking or log in now? I won't be able to stop crying now.”

“Alright, fine.” Papa rubbed my head.

We were getting ready to leave the room for the prayer room. The music was already playing, so we entered the sanctuary was greeted by the gaze of our extended family and friends. I don't want to get nervous about all those pairs of eyes and focus on Theo.

She didn't show any emotion, but I'm sure she was satisfied to see me in the all-white dress I was wearing. Our eyes met and there was a force I could not describe, which made us unable to turn away.

“Treat him well, Son. You are her husband, but she will always have a father ready to protect her. I never hit him, so if he's wrong, report to me. Don't let your hands hurt her skin, let me do it. Because it's easier for you if he hates me than you,” Papa said seriously.

“I promise I'll treat him well, Pa,” Theo said. He took my hand, and helped me up the altar.

We took our wedding vows emotionally, because we already had it. We know what it is to be sick, poor, and sorrowful. Theo who lost his memory and threatened to break up with his parents for marrying me did not dampen our intention to unite. We are glad we went through all of that well.

Hopefully we will be so until the end of life. We smiled with relief when declared husband and wife before God and the congregation. The pastor closed the blessing with a prayer. I feel overflowing happiness more than our wedding in Las Vegas.

Today I am not one bit overwhelmed with doubt. Theo spoke his vows lovingly, in contrast to his cold demeanor at our first wedding ceremony. He knows me well and I believe his heart is really just for me.

The event continued with a reception in a hotel hall. There are a lot of people I don't know coming. An invitation that seems like an important person. I felt sad when I recognized the mayor and the governor who took the time to congratulate me.

“Jaga. Your words have a negative meaning. As if they were divorced, then refer,” scolds Sonata. He smiled at me. “I'm happy for you, Amarylis!” He hugged me tightly.

“Thank you, Sonata.” I returned his embrace.

“Why do you always judge the bad of all my sentences and deeds? Can't we be at peace just once?” edrick protest.

“You are looking for a storm, yes, I ladeni,” reply Sonata.

Theo and I exchanged glances to see them fighting again. Unlike the reception in general, we do not use a guarantee. Me and our parents got the same table, but only during meals. As soon as our food ran out, we went around greeting the guests.

This way felt more familiar than we just sat in front and became a spectacle of many people. The invitees can also freely approach and chat with us. After all, anyone already knew we were legally married. It's just a delayed reception.

Even so, Theo and Katelia's parents reached deeply into preparing for this very lavish event. Mama Theo really doesn't want me to feel inferior to Venny. Her engagement to Theo was indeed very grand, but this was more than that.

“You should date for peace,” chirped Theo.

“Better I am single forever than to marry him.” Sonata shudders.

“Heh, Theo. Listen, yeah. I know you're very happy with your beautiful wife. But even if there is only one woman left in this world, I would rather be wiped out than marry this midget!” Edrick Raised his chin glancing at Sonata.

“Good, if we are one word. Beware, if you are consumed by speech,” threatened Sonata.

After the reception, we changed into clothes, then prepared to leave. The family drove us to the hotel terrace. Me and Theo are going on a three-day honeymoon. A wedding gift from Mom and Dad for us. They all hugged us tightly, as if it was hard to part. My brothers teased Theo, but he flinched.

I was relieved to see the location of the inn Theo had chosen. We are not close to any water attractions. Even the windows of the rooms do not show views of the beach, the lake, even the hotel pool. I could look out the window without fear.

“Edrick correct. It feels weird.” I'm laughing a little.

“What a strange thing. Don't like honeymoon with me?” theo Goda.

“Of course I like.” I approached, then helped unbutton his shirt. “You were only for me as long as we were here. We won't exit the room.”

“Wife request is an order,” he said. I laughed amusedly.

We really only used the time in the room. Theo did not mind not jogging, because it was replaced with exercise in bed. We ordered food to the room, including snacks by noon and afternoon. There are so many choices of channels that make us feel at home not to get out of bed.

I was getting ready to take a shower that morning when I saw something strange about my hair. Nothing hurts my body, so why are there red patches? May the baby die and you never become a mother. Suddenly, the word stuck in my head.

Oh, dearGod. No. gabe. My heart was pounding very fast and I could feel a sudden sweat filling my forehead. My hands reflexively touch my stomach. “Theo,” call me while wearing a bath coat. “Theo, hurry here!” I panicked even more when he didn't come, whereas I didn't dare to move in the slightest.

The door opened and he stood in the doorway. “What's up?”

“Theo, something bad happened.” I no longer hold back my tears. “Aku pendarahan.”
