“Gue can't believe they're doing this.” Theo took out his phone from his pocket.

“What do you mean?” many confused. Who did he mean by them?

I waited with my heart palpitating, hoping Theo could solve this problem soon. I don't have any contacts at the embassy or any government office. So, there's nothing I can ask for help. I saw Matt talking to someone on his phone.

“Sials. He accidentally didn't answer my call.” Theo kept his phone away from his ear, then checked out what was in the communication device.

“Mother Josepha,” call the officer again. I looked at him. “Antrian getting longer. Mom better follow my colleague to our office.”

I looked in the direction he pointed. There were many other officers standing guard at their counter. He just scared me. After all, the queue is getting longer as there are flights that will take off in the near future. It's not that I'm waiting for the two closest to me to help me.

“Shortly. Someone wants to talk to you.” Matt reached out his phone to the officer.

“Sorry, Sir. We didn't get any calls from anyone. You didn't mean to threaten the officer, ‘kan? If you do not comply, we are even more suspicious,” said the man began to get angry.

“Matt, you better not—” I'm trying to break up. I just want to go home and I don't want to have problems in people's countries.

“You two go to my room now and let the woman pass.” There was a man's voice coming through Matt's cell phone loudspeaker.

The two of them were stunned for a moment before their faces paled. The officer finally put a stamp on my passport and returned it. Another man came and sat in his place serving at the counter. I was dumbfounded to see their lightning-fast attitude change.

The new officer invited me to come forward so that he could serve the next passenger. The two comrades who were holding me were in a hurry to go to the inside of the corridor. I still can't believe what just happened.

Theo took my hand and Matt walked behind us towards the waiting room. My heart is still beating very fast even though the problem has been resolved. How scary. If I get stuck here, my plane ticket could be forfeited. That's a lot of money for Theo.

“Lo nothing?” ask Theo. I nodded quickly. He grabbed my shoulder, then kissed my head. “We're definitely home. Don't worry.”

We passed the last item check, then could sit in that big room. There are a lot of people waiting for their flight. Matt waved his hand at us as soon as he found a place that could accommodate the three of us.

“Who did you call earlier?” I asked, no longer able to hold back my curiosity.

“People who say they are always ready to help you,” replied Matt casually. He glanced at Theo as I frowned, not understanding. “Theo asks me to call Antonio if we encounter any problems. Then the stranger called me. Looks like their boss.”

“Sgratitude.” I'm relieved. I pulled out my phone and contacted the kind-hearted man. He's not the type to mince words, so we just chat as necessary.

Very cool. I forgot that I had a friend I could always count on. I didn't know he had a lot of good friends thanks to the restaurant he owned. I am excited to face my day ahead. Given the strange day of our meeting, I was so grateful to not obey Theo and help Antonio.

The nearly twenty-four-hour flight went well with a grueling transit drama. I have to admit that our bodyguards are very good at keeping their distance. They are not seen with us, but they are present whenever something suspicious happens.

I refused to rest when we arrived in Indonesia. I just want to go home and sleep in my room, not sit down and drink coffee. Matt would go home, while we would temporarily stay at the hotel until Theo got a cheap place to stay.

But out of the international arrival terminal, someone held a paper bearing Theo and me. We approached the man, then he introduced himself as an emissary of a property company. Theo doesn't feel like buying a house or an apartment.

Matt encouraged us to follow the man. The driver was waiting, so he went home first. Theo agreed and followed the man who had brought a car with the logo of a famous property company. I often see their commercials on television.

“Mari, we're in. My boss is already waiting inside.” The man walked towards the terrace.

Apparently there is a team that specifically takes care of the redeployment of the name of the house. The notary asked Theo to sign some papers he had prepared. Once the certificate is completed, they will be escorted to the home or office. We don't have to bother taking it.

“Outstanding.” I stared at the inside of the house in awe. “Home is a gift from Antonio?”

In front of us was a big ladder. On the border, the stairs are divided to the right and left. The arrangement is made of beautifully carved iron. Just like the floor I stepped on, the steps were also covered in beautiful marble and must have been expensive covered with a golden-colored carpet.

There are doors to our left and right. Some of the space was bounded with glass, others with walls. The ceiling is even more beautiful with hanging crystal lamps. I can't believe it. The servants also lined up, ready to serve us.

“The giving of the rich is different. It should be this house in the name of lo.” Theo grabbed my hand, then took me to follow the butler who led us to the room.

“We are married. Your name or mine, same thing.”

“How about I cheat, then divorce you? This house will be mine a.”

“You're sure I'll give up that easily?”

“What's for sure, you won't win from me.”

I'm not afraid he's cheating on me or leaving me. Because I won't be silent anymore. Our relationship this time is different. I won't let him go, even if he wants to get away from me. After we had each other, did he think I would easily let mine go?

The main room was very large and beautiful. But I had no energy to check or admire him. I didn't even let myself get mesmerized by the state of that beautiful bathroom by immediately cleaning myself up. I was calm when I was lying on a soft bed.

We were only at home for a week. Once we didn't jet lag and got used to local time, I started sending job applications. When Theo went to the doctor for the examination, I accompanied him. That chance I used to complain his stubbornness did not want to eat medicine.

Matt stopped by our house after work. He discussed things with Theo in the study, so I didn't interfere. Moreover, Theo began to look happy to be able to do the thing he liked, without experiencing any more difficulties.

What I fear most happens. Mother and Mama protested that I did not return to Medan, even in Jakarta. I really don't know how best to tell them that I'm married. Theo took me home and talked to them directly.

Brother Jericho called and asked to meet, but I refused. I don't want him to know first, then complain to Mommy. Could end my history. Matt reported that he asked for my address, but he kept it a secret. Mercifully. We better meet in the field. I don't care if he has a photo schedule or filming in Jakarta on the day of our arrival.

“Quiet. Everything will be fine,” Theo said for the umpteenth time, but I remained nervous.

“You don't know Mother. My soul can leave my body when she is angry.” Theo suddenly hugged me. His body trembled, making me surprised. “Theo?”

“Do not talk about. I don't like it,” he said annoyed. But I could hear the sadness in his voice.

I rubbed his back. “I'm sorry.” We hugged for a moment, forgetting there were people around us in the waiting room.

“Amarilla? What are you doing here?” There was a voice that I hadn't heard in a long time. I opened my eyes and looked towards the sound. He rolled his eyes to see my face. Recognizing the person by her side, I was also surprised.
