Smiling subtly in response, Gerald then said,

"Let's have a chat upstairs."

Watching Gerald begin to walk forward, Zachariah and Natallie quickly follow in his footsteps. After heading upstairs, the three soon find themselves in Gerald's office.

As he entered, Gerald signaled for Zachariah to sit down and said,

"Please sit down, Chairman Kershaw. Natallie, please serve tea to our guests!"

"Copy that, Chief Crawford!"

Answer Natallie with a nod before leaving the room.

Now that they were alone, Gerald cleared his throat before saying,

"First, there's no need to apologize, Chairman Kershaw. After all, yesterday's incident had nothing to do with you."

Hearing that, Zachariah was stunned for a moment. After all, he had no idea what prompted Gerald to say that.

Starting to panic, Zachariah then said,

"Chairman Crawford... What are you.-"

Seeing how panicked the man was, Gerald could not help but laugh, cutting off Zachariah's sentence. Looking at the frightened man, Gerald then replied with a smile,

"No need to be nervous, Chief Kershaw. There is no hidden meaning behind my words."

As soon as he heard that, Zachariah found himself breathing easier.

Gerald himself now knew how scared Zachariah was to think of his group being acquired by the Yonjour Group.

To be honest, Gerald wasn't even interested in acquiring the Zachariah group. After all, although the Zachariah Group could not compare to the Yonjour Group, it was still one of the best leading groups in Schywater City.

With that in mind, rather than talking about yesterday - which is not even Zachariah's fault - Gerald wanted to talk about something else.

"Well, since you've calmed down, listen to my proposal, Chairman Kershaw. I understand that you are a great entrepreneur. After all, you are forming your group from the ground up! With that in mind, I hope that your group will cooperate with me."

It was clear Gerald was honestly thinking about this when Zuri mentioned Zachariah's name the second time the day before.

Regardless, after hearing that, Zachariah immediately showed a clear expression of disbelief!

After all, he could never have imagined that Gerald would actually ask him to cooperate with the Yonjour Group rather than just get the Zachariah Group.

Apparently, he really thought too much! However, it did not make him feel any less surprised. With that in mind, Zachariah gulped before asking,

"A-do you really mean it, Chief Crawford...? Are you really willing to cooperate with my group.?"

"It's as if I'm going to joke about something like this!"

Gerald replied with a smile.

"What a great news, Chief Crawford..! I always wanted to work with you!"

Zachariah's increasingly passionate. For Gerald to really start a conversation about working with his group. This is certainly something to be proud of!

"Good to hear! Anyway, may I know what aspects your group is especially facing right now?" Ask Gerald.

"Ah, well, my group mainly deals with construction, - both local and regional - and we are also involved in the real estate scene!"

Replied Zakaria who had thought about the future of her group.

Being able to work with the Gerald group would definitely be his best chance to develop the Zachariah Group.

"so.. What's the biggest project you have right now, Chairman Kershaw?" Gerald asked after nodding.
