Chapters 1918.
Regardless of how serious Stanton was when he pouted, Tye did not accept it. Now furious, Tye glared at her men before ordering,
"Man! Defeat this old stard b*until he speaks!"
Hearing that, two of Tye's men then stepped forward with whips in hand. And without the slightest mercy, they began to whip the poor old man!
Naturally, the other villagers instantly became enraged, and some of the bolder ones even rushed forward to save their unfortunate heads!
Seeing that, Tye simply shook her head, glaring at those who dared to oppose her as her hand quickly grabbed her gun.
And with a deafening 'explosion', one of the villagers who dared to fall to the ground, died.
After witnessing that terrifying scene, no other villagers dared to take a step forward.
Tye herself just sneered, though,
"Listen, every time you refuse to tell me where they are, I will kill the other villagers! With that in mind, you better start confessing! Still, I'm glad no one knows about your village! Therefore, I can do whatever I want with you!"
"Head, give them the information!"
Excited one of the villagers, not wanting the entire village to be massacred just for the sake of protecting the three sages.
"Yes, chief! Our entire village is at stake here!"
"Please, tell them, chief .!"
One by one, the villagers continue to beg Stanton to share Gerald's location with them. And finally, the village chief knew that he had no other choice.
After all, he had to prioritize the safety of his village. With that, Stanton sighed before declaring,
"...Good. I will tell you on one condition! You should leave us after you get the information! Agreed?"
"Agreed!"
Tye replied without hesitation.
"They went deeper into the mountain! To be more specific, they entered a cave with two stone pillars in front of it!" Stanton.
Hearing that, Tye's expression instantly turned sour. Thinking that Gerald can find the exact cave that Tye herself is trying to find!
"Well! That's fine."
Tye replied with a nod, a sinister smile on her face as she slowly pointed her gun at Stanton's chest.
And with the pull of the trigger, a bullet pierced through the old man's chest.
"To-head."
The villagers screamed as Stanton spewed out a mouthful of blood before his head drooped and his limbs completely limp.
After a moment of staring at the fresh corpses of their heads, some villagers turned to look at Tye while roaring, saying,
"So what. Inhumanly.! You really b* stard.!"
"You promised you'd leave us! Why do you have to kill our heads?! You devil!"
After hearing all the curses, Tye's frown worsened as she pointed her gun at the villagers. And just like that, some villagers fell to the ground, dead.
"Kill them all! Make sure you don't miss anyone!"
Nodding in response, Tye's men then took out their knives, and the slaughter soon began.
By the time Tye and her men were done, the entire village had been wiped out. The Moonbeam Village was no more, truly vile.
Chapters 1919.
Moving back to Gerald and Rey, they had no idea about the massacre that took place in Moonbeam Village.
Even so, there was enough assurance that Gerald would not let Tye and his men go once he found out about what they had done.
After all, as the two of them were standing in front of the coffin right now, Rey was asked to ask, instead,
"We must open the coffin and look inside, Mr. Crawford...?"
"No. I really believe that something bad will happen if we do,"
Jaawab Gerald, who immediately made Rey give up on his idea.
Even so, inevitably he remained curious about the contents of the golden coffin. Anyway, Tye has been trying hard to find him. What kind of treasure is inside...?
"...Tell me, Mr Crawford? What kind of treasure do you think is in this tomb, even Tye traveled so far just to get it.?" Ask Rey.
Shaking his head in response, Gerald then said,
"I don't know, even though I believe the things he's after are inside that coffin!"
Although Gerald knew that the coffin was bad news, he also had a pretty good idea that it contained something very valuable.
Anyway, Tye tried hard to get it. Whatever the case may be, Gerald then begins to search high and low around the room.
After all, he's sick of staying stuck here. Rey begins to do the same, and with their combined efforts, the two eventually manage to find a way out!
Quickly exiting, the two soon found themselves stepping into some sort of forest. Still, Gerald and Rey were too happy to finally see the sky again.
With how stuffy the air in the cave was, the two men could not help but feel extremely relaxed now that they could finally breathe in some fresh air.
Exhaling loudly, Rey then sat on the ground before exclaiming,
"Thank God we're finally out of that place, Mr. Crawford."
"Indeed! Come back now!" Answer Gerald.
At that moment, both of their ears were raised as some rustling sounds rang out in the distance!
Immediately becoming alert, the duo then hid themselves well before peering to see who was making all the noise. And as soon as they see the culprit, Gerald and Rey are completely shocked.
"Mr Crawford.! It's Tye and his men!" Whisperer Rey.
Gerald himself was too busy wondering how they could find their way here so quickly without a map.
Whatever the case may be, Tye and her men seem to be completely focused on getting to the cave. With that in mind, they can't detect Gerald and Rey.
Given that the cave was not too far from here, Gerald had a premonition that the group would soon find him.
Even so, Gerald could not help but wonder if they could enter the cave from the very beginning.
