Chapters 1905.
Hearing Rey's question, Stanton immediately chuckled before replying,
"You'll find out as soon as night falls!"
Hearing that, Rey could only shrug her shoulders in response. After all, it wasn't long before the villagers brought all kinds of food and drinks to Stanton's house.
After they placed all the items in front of Gerald and his group, Stanton smiled before stating,
"Come, eat! You all must be starving and exhausted after traveling that far!"
Before Gerald could say a word, Rey immediately replied,
"Yes, I'm hungry! Thank you for accepting us, chief!"
By the time Gerald turned to stare helplessly at Rey, Rey was already busy stuffing her mouth with food.
After all, the three of them had eaten nothing for most of the day, and as a young man, Rey's way of eating was no less greedy.
Still, with how fast he ate, Gerald felt that his hunger could not match the hunger of hungry ghosts who had not eaten for a century.
What will he do with this boy. Shaking his head, Gerald then started eating as well, followed by Yann shortly afterwards.
Stanton himself smiled at how quickly Rey chewed the food... After a short meal, Gerald cleared his throat before asking,
"By the way, chief... Do you know any other cave on this mountain...?"
Surprised by the strange question, Stanton replied,
"A... cave? Why are you looking for a cave of all things...?"
"Well, the three of us have actually been trying to find something important. From what we gathered, it can most likely be found in a cave on this mountain!"
Gerald replied, making sure not to give too much information.
"Oh? I saw! Well, if it's a cave, we have some of them here! Unfortunately, that also means I don't know which one you mean!"
Stanton replied apologetically.
"So. then. between them, is there anything special.?" Ask Gerald.
"Specialty said.. Well, one cave came to mind. If I recall correctly, the cave had a large stone wall covering its large entrance. However, I didn't really pry him because the night was about to come..."
Stanton replied after thinking for a moment.
"Hm. Do you remember where the cave is?"
Gerald said, his interest is clearly tickling.
"Give me time to think."
Stanton replied as he began to wring out his memories.
A short while later, Stenton suddenly raised his head before declaring,
"Although I can't remember where the exact location is, I do remember that two huge pillars stood in front of the cave entrance! You can't miss them!"
While the statement only described what the cave entrance looked like, Gerald was only happy that he received a clue from the start.
"understand! Thank you, chief! We'll start looking for him in the morning!"
Gerald replied in a haphazard tone.
Chuckling in response, Stanton then said,
"Together!"
After that conversation, it was not long before nightfall and a bright crescent moon enveloped Moonbeam Village in a calming light...
Chapters 1906.
Contrary to the hustle and bustle of the typical city nightlife, darkness falls, the entire village becomes silent.
Everyone just stayed in their homes and turned off their light sources, not even bothering to break the norm. They really live like people from ancient times.
Sometime in the night, Rey could only whisper,
"..Tell me Mr Crawford..? Do you really think we'll be able to find that cave...?"
"Well, based on the description of the head, it shouldn't be too hard to find!" Answer Gerald.
"I guess I wonder if Tye and her men have left the cave at this time."
Rey muttered, there was a worried tone in her voice.
"They probably already are. After all, even we can find the exit easily!" Gerald said in a calm tone.
Gerald, for example, wasn't worried about Tye at all. So what if they make it out? Gerald and his group will always be one step ahead of them.
With that in mind, they couldn't possibly catch up to the trio. Then again, even if they managed to catch up to them, Gerald could face them.
Whatever the case, after chatting for a little longer, the two finally decided to hit the hay.
Not long after the sun began to rise, there was a knock on the door of the trio as the familiar voice of the chieftain called out, saying,
"After, gentlemen! Are you guys up yet?"
After hearing that, Gerald directly got off the bed before walking to the door. Opening it, Gerald then smiled subtly as he replied,
Laughing loudly, Stanton then said,
"We're all here just getting up early! Anyway, I am here to tell you that we will enter the mountain later. With that thought in mind, I wonder if you want to come with us!"
"Oh? But of course! Please give us a minute, chief! We'll pack up and be ready in no time!"
Gerald replied, now seeming much more excited.
After all, they would definitely find it easier to find the cave with the help of Stanton.
"No need to rush! Also, I've had someone prepare breakfast for you, so we'll only leave after you all eat!" Stanton.
"I saw! If I haven't said it yet, we really appreciate being in your care!"
Gerald replied in a haphazard tone.
After all, Stanton had not only personally come to wake them up, but he had even asked others to prepare breakfast for them! It would be impolite if he didn't show any appreciation for Stanton's attention!
However, with that said, Gerald quickly woke the others up. After they finished packing, they headed to the village chief's house and had a sumptuous breakfast.
It didn't take long, and soon, a troupe of three men set out for the mountains with Stanton and his men.
Being about three thousand feet above sea level, the mountain was quite tall and somewhat difficult to climb. Had Stanton not been there to lead, Gerald and his entourage would have had trouble navigating the mountain.
However, that does not mean that the climb is easy. Rey herself - who is not used to climbing - does not want to complain,
"This climb is a bit too heavy, isn't it, Mr. Crawford.?"
"It can get a lot rougher if we don't have head guidance!"
Gerald replied, making Rey instantly speechless.

"Well! Just so you know, there used to be no road on this mountain! The trails here are the result of years of mountain mapping! The road is easy, you know? Some of the more difficult terrains require us to climb!"
Stanton's frown - which led - in a joking tone.
While all three appreciated the old man's flexibility, it did not change the fact that all these climbs were a challenge for them.
Even so, they were well aware that this was the only way they could find the cave. As they say, 'No pain, no gain'.
Regardless, after about an hour of trekking, the troupe finally arrived at an area with relatively flat land. Judging from how high the mountain was, they were probably only halfway up the mountain.
With that in mind, looking down at the deep valley, which was now hundreds of feet below them, would make anyone feel dizzy.
As the three of them tried hard not to think about how tall they were, they quickly snapped as Stanton exclaimed, saying,
"Gentlemen! That's the cave over there!"
Turning to see where Stanton pointed, the three men could immediately see two stone pillars standing in front of the blocked cave entrance. Just as Stanton had described the night before.
Seeing that this was their stop, Gerald then nodded before saying,
"Looks so! Thank you for guiding us to this moment, chief! We'll head there ourselves now!"
"understand! By the way, be careful there. Once you find whatever you're looking for, go back to the village!"
Stanton replied in a friendly voice.
"Hard and clear! We appreciate all the hospitality, chief!"
Said Gerald and his entourage in unison before saying goodbye and heading towards the cave.
Stanton - and the other villagers - themselves continued their own journey further up the mountain.
Regardless, while standing before the tightly shut mouth of the cave, Rey could not help but say,
"It was one of the large stone walls that blocked the entrance. Still is. Do you think there's some kind of mechanism to open it, Mr Crawford.?"
"Yes, and I'm pretty sure it's around here" replied Gerald.
"Then what are we waiting for? Come quickly and find it!" Yann said with an enthusiastic tone.
All nodding in agreement, the three then began to search the area.
And before long, they found the mechanism they were looking for.
"..Tell the... Isn't the mechanism similar to the Eight Diagrams.? Who is Feng Shui.? Have you heard of it, Mr. Crawford.?"
Rey asked, looking at Gerald.
Nodding slightly in response, Gerald then replied,
"It has. Although I am not very good at the art of Feng Shui, I know that the Eight Diagrams are also known as the eight doors, and each door has a different meaning!"
From the looks of it, the only way they would open the cave was by solving this Feng Shui-based puzzle.
"So, but even if you don't know much about Feng Shui, doesn't that mean we're deadlocked.?"
Yann muttered in a slightly defeated tone.
"It's too early to give up! While it is true that I do not know much about Feng Shui, I believe that whoever made this tool would not be too difficult to get into the cave. After all, the hard part usually comes out of such an area. With that in mind, I'm sure we can at least go inside if we just use our heads!"
Gerald replied while looking at the two.
