Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man

Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man
Chapter 1780-1781

Chapters 1780.

It is impossible that both facts are coincidences. With that in mind, it could only mean that the Ember Lord was hiding there.

However, since the Bucket Lord had left the clue for them, it was possible that instead of finding it there, they would instead find the location of the next victim.

After thinking about it for a while, Old Flint then turned on the car and went straight into the gas! They should go to Yamilet Fae's house now!

"Are you really sure that the Ember Lord will be hiding there, Gerald.?" Ask Ray on the way there.

Shaking his head, Gerald then replied with a serious expression,

"To be honest, I'm not too sure. After all, Ember Lord was a meticulous person and never played by the rules. My guess is that those numbers will take us to the next victim, but in finding that victim, we will definitely be one step closer to where the Ember Lord is hiding!'

Hearing that, Ray then nodded in understanding.

After about forty minutes of driving, the three finally arrived at the Ember Lord's grandmother's house.

Yamilet lives in a small, remote village, and the three soon find themselves walking along a road in the village. Since they had not met anyone along the way, it was quickly proven that the village had few inhabitants.

Moreover, although there were quite a number of houses in the area, many of them were locked and showed signs of being uninhabited for a rather long time.

Then again, it's not too surprising. After all, the city was much more developed than this place. With that in mind, who would want to continue to suffer in such a place when they could live in a much better house?

After all, after walking for quite a long time, they finally found a person who was modestly dressed. With how old his clothes were, the three of them assumed that he was just a farmer living here.

"Hello there!" Calling Old Flint.

Hearing that, the old man immediately turned to face the three, looking somewhat surprised that an outsider would even come to this village.

"Yes? Who are you...?" Asked the old man, sounding a little frightened.

"Don't worry, I'm just from the Supreme Council! Straight into the chase, I wonder if you know where Yamilet lives?" Answer Old Flint.

Hearing that Old Flint was from the Great Council, the farmer let down his guard before asking,

"..Sorry, who...?"

"Yamilets Faes! She's an old lady!" The Old Flint.

"Oh, are you looking for him? He died a while ago! Do you have any business with him." Ask the farmer.

Of course, Old Flint and the other two already knew he was dead.

"We knew about it, but we still had to go to his house. There's something we need in there!" Obviously Old Flint.

"Oh! Well, if that's the case, I'll take you there! "

The old farmer replied while happily agreeing to help.

With pleasure, Old Flint then replied,

"I'm glad to hear it! Thank you, good sir!"

Now that someone was leading the way, they no longer needed to search for his place. With the farmer's guidance, the three of them soon arrived at Yamilet Faes' house.

Even though it was a simple wooden hut that had been broken for many years, the door seemed to still be locked. Looking at the state of his house, Ray could only murmur, saying,

"...I didn't expect the Ember Lord to be hiding in such a shabby and creepy place like this, Gerald...!"

"Hehe, Ray, don't forget Bucket Lord is no longer human. He's even more creepy than a ghost. Do you think he'll be afraid of hiding in this place?"

When Ray hears it, he finds that it makes sense.

"You can see it, and I'll go, then!"

The old man said to the three.

"Okay, old man. Thank you very much for your help!"

Old Flint thanked the old man quickly.

"Don't mention it!"

The old man replied by waving his hand.

After the old man left, Gerald and the other two stood in front of the wooden hut, staring blankly. They don't know what to do. They could not enter the cottage, nor did they know how to enter it.

"Gerald, Old Flint, what should we do now? Kick the door open?"

Ray looked at Gerald and Old Flint and asked.

"No, that's bullshit. Entrance without permission is not right!" Old Flint stopped Ray immediately.

Although Yamilet Faes was no longer alive, this cottage still belonged to him. So, they can't just do what they want.

"Then, what should we do? We don't have the key." Ray breathed helplessly.

After a while, Gerald suggested,

"We'll wait until nightfall and see if the God Bucket will appear here!"

So, they just waited there like Gerald suggested. The wait lasted for a few hours. They waited until eight, but still, the God Bucket did not appear.

The entire surrounding area fell into darkness and silence. Being in such a dark environment can really increase the fear in one's heart.

In addition to Gerald, Ray and Old Flint shrunk their necks and pulled their clothes tighter.

"Gerald, it's been a long time. It's so dark, do we still have to wait?" Ray looked at Gerald and the canvas.

"Yes. Gerald. Why don't we go back to the car? At least it's better than staying in cold weather like this!"

Old Flint, who was beside them, quickly gave a suggestion.

When Gerald heard this, he nodded in agreement. Seeing Gerald agree, Old Flint and Ray were immediately delighted. After that, the three got up and prepared to leave.

At that moment, a light shone from the forest. As soon as the light flashed, it instantly caught the attention of Gerald and the two. They were warned and immediately crouched down again.

"Three of you?"

Then they heard the old man's voice. Hearing his voice made the three sigh in relief. They think it's someone else. Apparently, there he is. Gerald and the two immediately came out of the bushes.

"Old man, why are you still wandering around at this late hour?"

Old Flint asked the old man doubtfully.

"I see that you've been waiting here for so long. So, I came to check on you!" The old man smiled and replied.

"We're doing fine. We're just waiting for someone here!"

Old Flint hurriedly explained to the old man because he did not want the old man to feel that something was wrong.
