Seeing that, Zuri immediately ran after Zachariah. It is true that Zachariah is not as rich or as strong as Gerald, at least he can still give him a rich and comfortable life, and he is content with just that.

"By the way, I must thank you for bringing me, Chairman Crawford! To be honest, I haven't had fun like this in a long time either!" Answer Natalie.

"To be honest, I've been treating you as a family long enough now, Natallie. After all, you've been by my side all this time. Without you, I might not even be where I am right now!"

Clearly Gerald was in a sincere tone as he looked at her.

After driving back to the villa, however, Gerald tells Natallie to go and bring Earla back to her room to rest well.

"Raine? Why are you standing at the door?"

Smiling softly, he then replied,

"Oh, I just took out the trash! Coincidentally, I saw your car passing by so I'm waiting here!"

Nodding in response, Gerald then entered the villa together with Raine. When he entered, Raine immediately called out, calling,

"Mom? Daddy's? Gerald's here!"

Hearing that, Dexter - who had been sitting on the living room sofa with Yollande - immediately stood up before exclaiming, saying,

"Oh? How shocked to see you here, Gerald!"

"Indeed!"

Added Yollande who turned to face the young man, with a wide smile on his face.

Glad to see how excited they were, Gerald then smiled in response before replying,

"I thought I'd stop by to say hello. So, you're used to living here?"

"But of course! It is impossible for us not to have one when you give us such an amazing villa! You were even attentive enough to stop by just to say hello!"

Yollande said, having nothing but praise for the young man.

After all, he was the one who had given their family what they needed most in their lowest moments. This was the only way they knew how to thank him.

"I'm glad to hear it! By the way, how's your recovery, Madam?" Ask Gerald.

"It's going fast! I can now get out of bed and walk on my own again!"

Yollande replied, instantly making Gerald sigh in relief.

When he turned to look at Dexter, however, Gerald couldn't help but notice that Dexter seemed to be thinking of something

"...Is there something weighing on your mind, sir.? You don't look too good. Maybe you are having some kind of trouble.? If you have, please don't hesitate to tell me about them. I will definitely do my best to help!" Gerald.

Hearing that, Yollande instantly added,

"Dexter, just tell him. After all, he was definitely not an outsider! Who knows, maybe he can help you!"

Hearing that, Dexter inevitably felt a little embarrassed. It seemed like he really did not know how to approach the subject properly.

Seeing how difficult it was for his father to find the right words, Raine walked in and explained,

"Well, the thing is, my dad had to resign from his old job because we moved quite far away from his workplace. He's currently having trouble finding a job, senior!"

"If you don't mind, what job are you looking for, Sir?"

After thinking for a while, Dexter replied,

"Well... I don't really have the academic qualifications for a more technical job, but I'm willing to endure hardships and work hard! I don't even mind working as a porters!"

As Dexter said, he had virtually no education or skills relevant to higher-paying jobs.

With that in mind, he knew that his strength was the only way he could continue to take care of his family. He really did not mind doing a lower-paying job as long as he could make a living.

Hearing that, Gerald thought about it for a moment before saying,

"so... You know, I have a job vacancy at my place. I'd like to know if you're interested in working with me.?"

"Of course I'm willing to work with you! I am willing to do anything as long as I get the job!"
