Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man

Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man
Chapter 2104-2105

Chapters 2104.

Watching the two walk away, Gerald then stretched his body before inhaling some fresh air deeply...

Moments later, Gerald starts walking to Takuya's room. However, on his way there, he bumps into one of Takuya's most trusted subordinates.

Seeing that, he thought that he might as well ask if Takuya was in his room before actually getting there.

After being told that Takuya was still interrogating the two from the previous night, Gerald asked the location of the interrogation room before leaving immediately.

Walking to the back of the manor, Gerald finally found a stone entrance leading to an area that was clearly built differently from the other main buildings.

While the front of the manor - including the villa, villa-vila there as well as the magnificent Futaba garden - looked extremely luxurious, anything that passed through the stone entrance really seemed deserted.

With a few weeds here growing as tall as humans - and a few one-story houses that are easily missed in the back -, he said, it felt like no one had ever lived in or even cared for the area for more than a decade.

Regardless, while walking along the path, Gerald immediately found three Futaba family subordinates who immediately greeted, saying hello,

"Master. Crawford!"

Peering past them, Gerald was asked to ask,

"Is the patriarch in one of those houses?"

"Indeed! He's been interrogating both killers all night. After all, have you eaten, Mr Crawford? We're just about to get breakfast for the patriarch!"

Said one of the guards.

"so. Get some for me, then,"

Gerald replied with a nod before walking past them.

After walking among the tall grass for a while, Gerald immediately heard a muffled cry from one of the houses.

Easily knowing where the voices were coming from, Gerald then entered the house before saying,

"Patriarch?"

"Hmm? What are you doing here, Mr Crawford?"

Takuya asked - who had been sitting at the table with a cigarette in hand - as he immediately stood up.

"I just want to see how his interrogation progresses,"

Reply Gerald - who had seen a cup of tea at Takuya's table - took a seat before looking around.

Although Takuya had said that he was conducting an interrogation, to be honest the entire place looked more like an execution room.

The fact that there were torture devices everywhere and two blood-stained killers had been tied to crosses only helped to further contribute to that statement. Slightly frowning, Gerald inevitably asked,

"Aren't you afraid you're going to kill them eventually...?"

"Oh, I've taken precautions. After healing them at my clinic last night, my family doctor had checked their vital signs every half hour. I have intensified and reduced the torture according to what the doctor reported to me throughout the night. Don't worry, I won't let them die until they tell us the important details."

Takuya replied with a faint smile as he pointed at a middle-aged man wearing a white suit.

Thinking that it was the doctor, Gerald chose not to say anything more. A brief silence later, Takuya slipped a piece of paper in front of Gerald.

Raising a few eyebrows, Gerald began reading them and quickly realized that it contained a log of all the words of the assassins that night.

However, it turned out, they only revealed how they managed to sneak into the manor as well as how long they waited before attacking. In other words, none of the extracted information is useful.

"Is this all?"

Chapter 2105.

"Unfortunately, both of them were more stubborn than I had previously anticipated. Since they were unwilling to provide useful information until this point, I will use even more gruesome tactics from now on. Even if they end up dying, I'll make sure they die very slowly!"

Takuya growled while gritting his teeth.

Under normal circumstances, whoever he interrogated would be destroyed in just a few hours. The two, however, had kept their lips tight, even though he had interrogated them all night and had exhausted most of his torture devices! He really can't believe it! Even so, Takuya was not discouraged.

After all, he had yet to use his most ruthless tactics. As soon as he used it, he was sure they would finally speak.

Turning to look at the two, Gerald just scoffed, mocking,

"Tell us the details or you will die a very painful death!"

"Dream! You'll never get anything from us so just kill us!"

Snapped Endo while gritting his teeth.

While it is true that all his wounds have been sewn, it has been done roughly with the intention of only allowing him to stay alive. After a night of torture, the seams had long since torn back, causing Endo's skin to become inflamed and infected.

"There's no point in pitying them, Mr. Crawford. Anyway, I'm sure I'm close to breaking both. After all, there is no one on this planet who really does not fear death. With that in mind, I just need to use more brutal psychological tactics to get them to talk!"

Takuya scowled as he slammed his fist against the table.

"Well! Let's see it later!"

Ejek Endo while spitting his blood into Takuya.

"Give them the cruelest treatment you can think of. I can't believe that we can't get them to talk at the end of the day!"

Takuya orders while walking up to Endo before glaring at him.

"Don't worry, patriarch! We'll use everything we have to get them talking!"

Answer Takuya's men while nodding.

"alright. Then let's go now, Mr. Crawford. I was a little tired after interrogating them all night. By the way, I've already ordered my subordinates to prepare breakfast for us, so let's get to that first."

Takuya said as he turned his head towards Gerald before starting to leave the interrogation room.

Naturally, Gerald followed him, and soon, they found themselves walking to the front of the manor again. As they walked, Takuya lit a cigarette and started smoking.

After a while, he was encouraged to say,

"You know, I never thought the two of them were so stubborn. To think that I would fail to get relevant information from them after torturing them all night! Still, I had a pretty good feeling that they were both Hanyus. After all, that was the only family that dared to fight Futabas in all of Japan! Moreover, you've already stated that they're a bit too powerful to be ordinary assassins. Still, I can't help but wonder why they're after you, not my daughter..?" .

"Indeed. Had Hanyus come for Fujiko, they could have attacked him. Moreover, other than the fact that they were clearly after me, they even called out my name, which sealed the agreement that I was their target the entire time."

Gerald replied and he continued pondering over the topic.

"Looks like. But why would they suddenly want to chase after you..? Could it be that they have found out that it was you who saved Fujiko that day? Even so, as much as I hate to say it, knowing it shouldn't cause them to target you instead of my daughter..." Takuya muttered with a frown.

"Could they not actually be Hanyus?" Ask Gerald.

"How strong are the two of them? They are most likely Hanyus. After all, no other family or troops in Japan would train such a competent assassin. And again, no one dared to mess with Futaba other than them. Then again, it might just be a biased assumption. Maybe this is all deeper."

Takuya replied with a shrug, still a little disappointed that he had not managed to crack the code after a night of interrogation.
