CHAPTERS 1842.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. Besides, I trust you more than the group before!"

Add Mr. Bates when he sees a drastic change in Gerald's expression.

"Instead, I think you should go there with Miss Zorn, Mr. Crawford. I'll stay here with Yrsa!"

Shortly after, a blue portal appears before Gerald and his group.

"That's the portal. Enter now, and remember. Just three days or you'll never be able to leave!"

Reminds Mr. Bates as Gerald and Rey nod.

"understand! Don't worry, Mr Bates! Also, I have to trouble you to take care of the two of them in the meantime. Thanks for everything!"

Gerald replied in a stern voice as he looked at the man.

Upon seeing Mr. Botes nod, Gerald and Rey then entered the portal. And once they made it across, the portal disappeared.

The pillars themselves instantly stopped shining, making it seem as if nothing had ever happened here.

"Don't you say that you're not afraid of ghosts?" Gerald grumbled.

"Well, yeah, I'm not afraid of ghost movies, but it's reality! Who knows when ghosts might appear?" Rey replied with a coward.

Things must have been a lot scarier when he didn't expect ghosts to just appear on the screen!

Regardless, Gerald remained silent, knowing where Rey came from. After all, Rey wasn't used to dealing with ghosts yet, so fear was natural. Courage will come when the child gets used to it.
