Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man

Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man
Chapter 1802-1803

Chapters 1802.

Hidden perfectly, Gerald - who was secretly monitoring all of this - found himself a little surprised. Thinking that the cloaked man was actually the leader of the Soul Hunter organization.

Since their leader was also present, it made sense that this was a large-scale mission. In other words, there would probably be more Soul Hunters around.

Gerald's path of thought was cut off when the cloaked man asked his subordinates in a cold tone,

"I believe no one knows your true identity?"

"Don't worry, leader, because we have hidden our identity well!" Answer one of the Soul Hunters.

"You better have. Regardless, go to the phosphorus mountain area at dawn. I'll go there first tonight. Again, don't get caught!" The robed man's orders.

"Bluffy and clear, leader!" Answer the four Soul Hunters in unison.

With their answers, the cloaked man then jumped into the air, immediately disappearing into the darkness of the night.

After watching all that, Gerald inevitably felt a little stunned. As he had expected, the Soul Hunter was here for the Blood Devil mark.

The fact that he was able to figure out how powerful the leader of the Soul Hunter organization was was naturally did not make him feel any better.

Apart from that, since his group was also planning to leave at dawn, there was a high chance that they would meet a Soul Hunter while heading to the phosphorus mountain region...

Under normal circumstances, even if they met, both sides would ignore each other.

After all, the fact that cultivators and Soul Hunters had completely different backgrounds meant that there was little reason for the two groups to interfere with each other.

Unfortunately, because both want the same thing, conflict is inevitable. With that thought in mind, after giving it some thought, Gerald decided that it would be best to defeat the four Soul Hunters before they even got to the phosphorus mountain region.

By doing so, he would at least make sure that the three of them would have fewer enemies to deal with once they were in their actual location.

His mind was already round, Gerald watched the four Soul Hunters start to leave, and once they got close enough, Gerald made himself visible as he punched through the air, forming a shockwave that made the four Soul Hunters fly backwards!

Of course, the attack was not deadly, and when they realized what was attacking them, the four men immediately shouted, saying,

"Ghost?!"

They all recognized Gerald as a ghost because of his current body condition. Either way, it is clear that none of them are anticipating meeting ghosts here from all over the place.

Even so, they are trained professionals. With that, the four of them quickly regained their wits when one of the Soul Hunters shouted furiously,

"Quick! Attack her!"

Taking their daggers in response, the four individuals then began to charge towards Gerald!

Since these people were actually hunting and killing ghosts and spirits, they were naturally much stronger compared to ordinary people.

Even so, in the end, they weren't as strong or as fast as Gerald, and Gerald knew it.

With that in mind, Gerald would not be intimidated by their group's attacks anytime soon. Instead, he simply chose to easily dodge their attacks!

Before the Soul Hunters could launch their second round of attacks, Gerald quickly strangled the neck of one of the men!

Unable to react in time, the other three Soul Hunters could only stare with wide-eyed eyes as the sickening sound of broken bones could be heard.

And just like that, one of them died from a broken neck! Gerald himself just threw his body aside casually like trash.

As for the hunters, they were too stunned to feel humiliated. After all, none of them could have imagined that Gerald would be this strong.

Anyway, he's right. Gerald just attacked them all of a sudden! That certainly raises some questions.

"Well! I don't have to explain anything!"

Gerald replies, feeling ludicrous that they even considered the possibility of him telling them his motive or identity. That's not possible!

With that thought in mind, Gerald then made a move. and in the blink of an eye, the remaining three Soul Hunters also died. Thinking that they can't even figure out who Gerald really is before death.

After all, now that the four of them were dead, Gerald began to examine their bodies.and finally, he found four Soul Hunter tokens.

As the name suggests, these tokens represent their status as Soul Hunters, and anyone accepted into the organization will receive them.

Either way, after obtaining the token, Gerald kept it by his side before quickly leaving the scene.

As for the four corpses, while someone might find them the next morning, Gerald wasn't too worried about being a suspect.

After all, he had attacked them in his Avatar form, which meant he would not leave any trace of physical evidence whatsoever that he did.

Whatever the case may be, now that he has four tokens, Gerald feels that he and his group will be able to enter the phosphorus mountain range area more smoothly.

At the very least, the three of them would not be targeted too quickly by the other Soul Hunters they encountered. Although this is a bit of cheating, everything is fair in love and war. As long as he could obtain the Blood Devil token, Gerald did not mind doing all this.

After all, Gerald quickly returned to his physical body - back to the hotel - before falling asleep the next morning. The three of them woke up quite early in the morning and after checking out, they headed straight for their car.

Once they were inside, Juno and Ray raised their heads when they heard Gerald say,

"Here, take this!"

Raising an eyebrow, the two then extended their hands to Gerald who gave the Soul Hunter token to each of them.

"...Then what is this?" Asked Ray in a curious tone.

"Soul Hunter Tokens? But how? And why do you have this?" Juno exclaimed in shock as she turned to look at Gerald.

Even though he asked that question, he had a premonition as to why he had this.

"I met with the four Soul Hunters last night, and after dealing with them, I took out their Soul Hunter tokens!

With that token, it would be much easier for us to enter the phosphorus mountain area because we would not be easily found by other Soul Hunters.

With any luck, we will be able to hide our identity during the process!" Gerald.

Hearing that, Juno and Ray realize that Gerald had secretly defeated the competition the night before.

"With, 'it won't be easy to find', what do you mean to say that we should pretend to be Soul Hunters because we now have their tokens?" Ask Ray for confirmation.

"Bingo. If things go well, we should be able to reach our destination right under the noses of the other Soul Hunters!" Gerald replied with a smile.

After that, Gerald stepped on the gas and immediately started heading to the phosphorus mountainous area.

The phosphorus mountain area is quite famous in Sunset Village. With how much phosphorus there is in the area, locals will sell it to manufacturers who will then use the raw materials to produce other chemicals.

In addition, phosphorus will also be sold for decorative purposes. In short, the locals would rely on the place to gain wealth.

Whatever the case, it was a two-hour drive from Sunset Village to their destination, and by the time they finally arrived there, time had already shown at twelve.

Seeing them in time for lunch, Gerald then parked his car in the parking lot before driving Ray and Juno to a restaurant.
