Of course the statement made Juno and Rey a bit surprised. Even so, Juno quickly recovered and followed him just like that.

Rey herself did not expect Gerald would side with her instead of harming her. With that, after Gerald ended the call, Rey could only stare at Gerald for a moment before muttering,

"No need to say anything. You're already here, so let's make the most of it. Anyway, please hold your tongue as much as possible after we get there. And please listen to my orders if I give them to you!"

Gerald replied, not even waiting for Rey's sentence to finish.

"Understand me, Mr Crawford! Don't worry, I'll be very obedient!" said Rey while nodding quickly.

At that moment, Yann - who was still driving - couldn't help but smile as she said,

"You know, you have a pretty good student, Gerald. After all, he was worried enough about you to sneak in!"

"Well! He's just someone who worries me all the time!" Pouted Gerald in a playful tone.

Realizing Gerald is grinning, Rey-at least knows that Gerald is no longer mad at him. With that, Rey could only sigh in relief as she shyly scratched the back of her head.

To be honest, Rey would rather gain knowledge of the world by participating in adventures with Gerald than just practicing indoors.

While it's true that danger abounds in the open world, Rey truly believes that adventuring is the best way for her to gain more experience.

Whatever the case may be, as even Yann is now talking, Gerald thinks that this is the right time to introduce Rey to him.

"By the way, this guy's called Yann, Rey. You can choose to call him Mr. Williams or Brother Yann" Gerald said.

"It's good to see you, Brother Yann! I'm Rey!" Rey replied with a smile.

"understand!" Yann said before laughing in response.

"Well, that's impossible. According to estimates, how long will it take for us to get to Mount Dakriont.?" Gerald asked as he looked at Yann.

Before Yann could answer, Rey beat him up by saying,

"I've checked the route first, Mr. Crawford! From the entrance of the highway, it will take about six hours before we get there!"

Afterwards, Rey shows her phone to Gerald, and displayed there, is a navigation system. Rey herself had included Mount Dakriont as their destination once they got into the car.

Nodding in response, Gerald then muttered,

"Six hours, yeah. That's gonna take a while. I think I'll take a little nap."

There really wasn't much to do in the car for six hours, so he'd better close his eyes. Seeing Gerald leaning back in his chair before lowering him a little and immediately falling asleep, Rey decided to do the same.

After all, to hide in the trunk, she wakes up earlier than Gerald, which explains why she is sleepy for a while now.

After all, after realizing that the two fell asleep so quickly, Yann could only laugh in a slightly bitter tone. After all, as a driver, he couldn't really rest like the two of them.

It was around three o'clock when Gerald and the others finally left the highway and arrived at Mount Dakriont.

Either way, for those who come all the way here for the trip, five days is usually the minimum. After all, it was a well-known fact that no one could really enjoy their experience here if they only stayed for one day.

Whatever the case, after parking the car, Gerald and the others immediately headed to the ticket booth to officially enter Mount Dakriont.

While one ticket costs sixty dollars, Tye pays, so Gerald and his entourage don't have to worry about the entrance fee.

When entering, rather than anxiously going straight into business, the first thing the group did was find a place to relax. After eating some of the rations they brought-to replenish their energy,-Tye cleared his throat before saying,

"Alright, listen, everybody. We'll spend the night here, but we leave at dawn, okay?"

Hearing that, everyone just nodded in agreement. After all, it would not be long before nightfall, and traveling in the dark was not a good idea.

Besides being obviously more dangerous, one could also easily lose their way. With that in mind, objectively it is a better option to leave once morning comes.

Getting rid of it, Tye then ordered one of his men to book a cabin for them to spend the night.

Of course, lodging would never be cheap in this place. Coupled with the fact that the wooden cabin - which was eventually occupied by the group - looks so beautiful, one night there costs a hundred and fifty dollars!

After all, Yann, Gerald, and Rey were grouped together to stay in one of the cabin rooms.

Upon entering the room, Rey immediately suggested,

"Alright, Mr. Crawford and Brother Yann, what about this? You two take the bed while I'm going to sleep on the couch!"

"No need for that. You can take the bed!" Answer Gerald.

"But, Mr. Crawford-"

"No need to argue. You got a bed,"

Gerald said, not even waiting for Rey to finish her sentence.

Hearing that, Rey knew she had no choice but to budge. Despite not saying it, Rey honestly felt touched. Gerald was really too good to her.

Although it was a bit late when the three finally decided to hit the hay, they got enough rest and were awakened by the birdsong at the beginning of dawn.

By the time Gerald and his entourage were down - all packed and ready -, they saw that Tye and the others were already waiting for them.

"There you all are! Is your sleep good?" Tye asked with a smile.

"How good are you to ask, Chairman Lamano! We slept pretty well, at least so;"

Gerald politely replied as Tye nodded before taking the map. Pointing somewhere on the map, Tye then said,

"All right, we're here now. Our first stop was the Officer Observation Deck which was about five miles from where we were. Is anyone against it?"

Naturally, no one objected. Anyway, Tye is the owner of that map. Gerald himself could only hope that they would be able to deal with any problems that arise during their journey.

With that, the group then conducts a final re-examination to see if they have everything before departing.

During the trip, Gerald and Yann could only stare speechlessly at Rey who seemed to be photographing just about anything. Is the boy here for adventure or travel..?

Finally becoming somewhat distracted by all the 'snapshot' sounds, Gerald could only mutter, muttering,

"Rey, can you stop for a second.?"

Chuckling in response, Rey simply replied,

"But it's not easy for us to get a chance to come here, Mr. Crawford! These pictures will prove that we were here!"
