Either way, the two soon make it to a very crowded casino. As it turns out, gambling is something that many people look forward to, regardless of which world they live in.

With that, Gerald quickly began to notice how the game was played.

Putting the only sacred stone he had on the table, Gerald then quietly nodded at the casino owner, encouraging the owner to start shaking the dice in his hand.

To win the game, Gerald had to choose between high and low slots. Even though he only had one chance, he would definitely win big if he chose correctly.

Either way, once the owner stops shuffling the dice, he puts them on the table, encouraging other gamblers at the table to start choosing their slots.

While everyone immediately bet on high slots, Gerald made no attempt to rush into betting. After all, this was his only chance of winning.

In the end, Gerald ended up betting on the low slots. This was the risk he chose. With that, the dice are revealed...

And with the result now, Gerald and Yale immediately cheered! Gerald has won the bet!

"My Lord! You make a lot of money with one shot you get!" Excited Yale exclaimed.

Nodding happily in response, Gerald then quickly stuffed all the sacred stones he had won into his pouch.

Overall, the gamble resulted in over a hundred of them, and Gerald was confident that the sum would be able to sustain him for quite a long time.

"All right, let's go! I've won enough!"

Gerald said, satisfied with all the holy stones he had just obtained. He, for example, knows that it is always best to stop gambling once wealth is acquired.

Whatever the case, he then grabbed onto Yale's arm and began heading towards the casino's exit.

However, leaving the casino is never easy if someone has just won money. This proves to be true when some tough-looking men stop them from leaving.

Afterwards, a man - with a scar on his face - walked up to Gerald and Yale before saying in a cynical tone, saying,

"Gentlemen! You can't just leave after winning so much!"

Gerald knows that this is just a way for casinos to ensure that they always profit from their customers. After all, he had witnessed a similar tactic used when he entered a casino on earth.

"It's only natural that we leave whenever we want! Or are you trying to play dirty here?"

"Well! These are just the rules of this casino! Look, you have two simple choices. Either you give us the Stone you just won, or you play until you don't have it!"

The injured man's ejek before snorting in disdain.

Being a shy man, Yale quickly whispered,

"Let's leave that sacred stone, brother Gerald! These people cannot be disturbed.!"

Of course, Gerald would never agree with that. After all, he had won this holy stone justly and honestly, and although Yale was afraid of these people, Gerald was not.

With that in mind, Gerald then tied the holy stone pouch on his waist before sneering,

"If you want it, come and take it!"

Hearing that, the injured man then gestured for his subordinates to capture the two.

However, before they could even get close to him, Gerald took the initiative to attack! Within seconds, they were all lying on the ground, unable to even get up!

Upon seeing that, the injured man found himself stunned. Think that Gerald is this strong!

Afterwards, Gerald glared at the injured man, prompting him to swallow immediately before moving to the side. He would not stop them from leaving after witnessing all that!

With that, both managed to leave the casino. Finally stopping by the river, Gerald then picked up a handful of sacred stones before handing them over to Yale.

"As promised, I will return the sacred stone I borrowed! Think of the other stones as a form of appreciation for having survived with me until now!" Gerald.

Gazing with wide eyes at all the sacred stones Gerald had given him, Yale quickly knelt down before shouting excitedly, ' he said,

"Sister Gerald! Please let me be your follower! I'd bow to you if my name wasn't Yale Zachrey!"

Sure, this surprised Gerald. He, for example, did not expect to receive subordinates here, especially Yale. After all, he would still have to return to earth one day.

With that in mind, Gerald took a moment to think about it before calmly answering, Gerald,

"While I'm flattered to hear it, I'll leave this place soon. With that in mind, just take the holy stone and live your life well!"
